Solidaritas di Antara Pengrajin Songket: Suatu Tinjauan terhadap Teori Solidaritas Emile Durkheim di Desa Muara Penimbung, Kecamatan Indralaya, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seperti apa bentuk solidaritas yang terjalin antar para pengrajin songket di Kampoeng BNI, serta menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi terwujudnya solidaritas pengrajin songket tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dimana pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan wawancara sehingga mampu menggali lebih dalam tentang solidaritas sosial yang terjalin diantara para pengrajin tersebut. Sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengrajin songket Kampoeng BNI di Desa Muara Penimbung, Kecamatan Indralaya. Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bentuk solidaritas yang terjalin dalam lingkup pengrajin ini mengalami pergeseran dari solidaritas mekanis kesolidaritas organis, mereka memiliki tipe pekerjaan dan tujuan yang sama dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Kemudian terwujudlah gotong-royong berupa kerja bakti. Selain itu, bentuk kerjasama berupa produksi dan bagi hasil terjalin dalam kelompoknya. Hal itu dipicu oleh adanya faktor-faktor yang mewujudkan solidaritas didalam kelompok pengrajin. Diantaranya yaitu muncul faktor kebiasaan dan juga faktor kesamaan mata pencaharian
Representasi Golongan Minoritas Tionghoa Dalam Film Ngenest (Kadang Hidup Perlu Ditertawakan)
Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi minoritas Tionghoa dalam film Ngenest. Tujuan penelitian ini berusaha untuk membahas gambaran konstruksi, sistem representasi, dan proses representasi makna minoritas Tionghoa dalam film Ngenest. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif interpretif. Paradigma yang digunakan adalah konstruktivis. Observasi atau observasi merupakan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis teori dari Stuart Hall dan teori pendukung tentang minoritas Tionghoa dari Schermerhorn dan Wagley & Maris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa representasi Tionghoa yang dominan dalam film Ngenest diperoleh melalui representasi representasi. Cash Transfers: the right answer for the poor in developing countries? Visiting Indonesia’s contemporary case study
One of the most popular poverty reduction programs is Cash Transfers (CT). Even though the implementation of CT programs in Indonesia is also useful in providing basic needs for needy families, however, thus, programs are not conveyed a significant effect on poverty reduction. CTs give cash to poor households in order to help them fulfill their basic needs and emphasize the investment of human capital for their children. This study attempts to map out what factors that cause the ineffectiveness of CT programs in Indonesia compare with the success of CT programs in other countries. This study found that Several factors drive the implementation of social protection, particularly cash transfer, in Indonesia is not as successful as what has been being implemented in other countries. Comparing to Europe, Indonesia still lacks resources to support the implementation of CT programs. European countries, despite its advantages on EU integration, already have established infrastructures and human resources
Pengembangan Kapasitas Mantan Pekerja Seks Komersial Dalam Peningkatan Fungsi Sosial Oleh Lembaga Kharisma Palembang
The purpose of this Research was to analyze three aspects of capacity building of former commercial sex workers in improving social function by charisma institutions, including capacity building processes, capacity building forms and capacity building strategies. In general, capacity building is a learning in enhancing capability, skills and increasing mastery possessed by an individual, group or organization, carried out by social welfare institutions in organizing various types of activities, especially those directly related to the empowerment of former commercial sex workers. This Research uses a qualitative approach. The object of this case study research is the Kharisma Institute in carrying out capacity building activities for former commercial sex workers. The source of the data in this research came from primary data sources, namely key informants of the kharisma institution, companion, former commercial sex workers, some of social service employees also became supporting informants of this research. Secondary data from various literature departments. Data collection techniques use the method of observation (observation), interviews (interviews), and documentation. The results of the research provide an overview of the aspects of the process, forms and strategies for improving the social function of former commercial sex workers, after participating in activities they have knowledge, high social life, have the ability to be entrepreneurial, confident, and able to build social relations
Konstruksi Komunitas Kampus Terhadap Mahasiswi Bercadar Di Universitas Sriwijaya Indralaya
This study examines the process of the formation of campus community construction of veiled female students by using a social construction approach from Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants were selected purposively as many as eleven people, consisting of two lecturers, two employees, and seven students of Sriwijaya University. The results of this study indicate that the campus community construction of veiled female students can be known through three stages. First, externalisation is the process by which individuals in the campus community capture outside influences related to the use of the veil. Secondly, objectivation, individuals in the campus community view the use of the veil as a form of respecting human rights. Third, internalisation takes the form of a subjective dimension of the campus community as meaning. Through primary and secondary socialisation, this study obtained four-campus community constructions of veiled female students, namely freedom in democracy, a form of servant obedience to God, religious bigotry, and violation of communication ethics
Implementasi Program Kota Tanpa Kumuh Dalam Upaya Menambah Destinasi Wisata Baru Di Kota Palembang
The arrangement of the urban area to be habitable for communities was declared by the government through the Kota Tanpa Kumuh (City without slums) or KOTAKU Program. The program has been implemented in several cities and districts in Indonesia. In Palembang, the implementation of KOTAKU Program has reached its third year, with a target zero of slum area in 2019. The purposes of this research were to study the implementation of KOTAKU Program in Palembang City, the factors that influence the success of the program and the participation model used by communities in the area of KOTAKU program. A descriptive format of the qualitative method was used in this study. This research focuses on the analysis of implementation using Merille S. Grindle's theory which is about the policy contents and the policy of the environment. The result of the study indicated that the implementation of the KOTAKU Program in Palembang City has been successful but not fully optimal yet. This was caused by several inhibiting factors such us; topographic differences in each region, unsupportive local community behaviours, lack of government supports, socialization was not yet comprehensives and budget constraints. The community participation models that were used in the three observed regions were more on the physical participation of people who directly involved in the program. While, people who were not directly involved in the program, they were a lack of participation. However, this program still needs to be reviewed and evaluated continuously for achieving the target of 2019 Palembang slum zero areas
Rasionalitas Ekonomi Petani Kopi di Desa Padang Bindu Kecamatan Pasemah Air Keruh Kabupaten Empat Lawang
Sektor pertanian merupakan mata pencahrian mayoritas penduduk Indonesia dan yang berkembang salah satunya komoditas kopi, dikelola oleh petani kopi. Penelitian ini mengkaji permasalahan bagaimana keadaan ekonomi petani, tindakan ekonomi petani yang menggambarkan tindakan yang rasionalitas pada petani. Penelitian ini adalah bersifat deskriptif analisis yaitu penelitian yang mengambarkan keadaan suatu fenomena yang digambarkan dengan kata-kata atau kalimat yang dipisah-pisahkan menurut katagorinya untuk memperoleh kesimpulan, dengan tujuan untuk membuat deskripsi, gambaran secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta setiap hubungan mengenai keadaan ekonomi, tindakan ekonomi, serta usaha di luar sektor pertanian yang dilakukan oleh petani kopi di Desa Padang Bindu Kecamatan Pasemah Air Keruh Kabupaten Empat Lawang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam kepada informan dan peneliti menggunakan pedoman wawancara. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa petani kopi di Desa Padang Bindu Kecamatan Pasemah Air Keruh Kabupaten Empat Lawang telahmelakukan tindakan dan keputusan berdasarkan rasionalitas. Petani saling tolong menolong pada kondisi subsisten dan petani telah berpikir rasional. Setiap tindakan dilakukan atas dasar rasionalitas, petani sudah memikirkan untung rugi dari setiap keputusan yang dibuat. Meskipun tingkat Pendidikan petani rendah, tetapi petani menyadari bahwa pendidikan penting dan berusaha untuk memberikan Pendidikan yang baik bagi anak-anak mereka. Anak-anak merupakan investasi dimasa depan, selain itu petani juga melakukan investasi tanah, hewan ternak dan barang milik pribadi lainny
Dampak Program Unggulan Madrasah Dalam Pengembangan Karakter Siswa Di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Palembang
This research was conducted at MAN 1 Palembang, located on Jl. Governor H. Bastari (Jl. Pendidikan) Jakabaring Palembang. The purpose of the research was to analyze the impact of the excellent program in the development of student character at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Palembang. The research was conducted using a qualitative method. In obtaining data using in-depth interviews and participatory observation consisting of 12 informants and observers. The theory of Petter L Berger's socialization process is used as a research analysis tool to see and analyze the ongoing socialization process in an excellent programs of Madrasah. The results of this research that through the excellent program of Madrasah which includes excellent academic programs, excellent tahfidz programs and excellent journalistic programs have a good impact on student character development. The character values of students that increase are: (1) Religious, (2) Discipline, (3) Hard Work, (4) Creative, (5) Independent, (6) Curiosity, (7) Communicative, ( 8) Respect for achievement, (9) Communicative, (10) Responsibility. From the results of the research illustrate that there is a development of student character that manifested in the form of reduced delinquency of order that doing by students after the existence of excellent programs of Madrasah
Kapital Simbolik Sebagai Identitas Keluarga Besar Studi Kasus Komunitas Bani Ma’shum di Kecamatan Jatibarang Brebes Jawa Tengah
This paper describes symbolic capital that owned by an extended family community, Bani Ma'shum. The theory is Bourdieu's concept of habitus, fields, and symbolic capital. This paper uses a qualitative method to explain the survival of the Bani Ma'shum community in district Jatibarang Brebes, Central of Java. This paper describe Bani Ma'shum as a large family community of Javanese ethnicity. Values and experiences based on the Javanese habitus they applied to their activity everyday. The use of the concept of bani is not just naming, but also show that Arab habitus has also been constructed into this community. Bani Ma'shum was formed in NU (ahli sunnah wal jama'ah) community. Bani Ma'shum has several capital, there are social, cultural, politic, economy, and symbolic capital. These capital play in three arenas: socio-religious, politic, and economy. From other capitals, symbolic capital is most plays as important role for members of Bani Ma'shum. Because with symbolic capital members of Bani Ma’shum can access other capital. Bani Ma'shum distinction is based on blood ties and family lineage. This family membership is only based on blood ties and not everyone can enter the Bani Ma'shum family, except by marry their child of Bani Ma'shum family
Jaringan Aktor Dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pada Program Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) Di Kelurahan Pasar II Kecamatan Prabumulih Utara Kota Prabumulih Provinsi Sumatera Selatan
This research purpose to seeing how the network of actors in community empowerment Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) programs. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods, which discuss the matter of exploration and clarification of social phenomena or challenges by designing describing variables relating to the problem and unit discussed. Interviews were conducted with informants who were program actors or actors, both government, private, program implementers and the community. The results of the research are the individual relations between actors in empowerment in the Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) programs are still symmetrical, and equality with strong ties and there are also weak ties between actors. Relations between institutions are asymmetrical with dominant actor ties in the form of work relations and weak ties in the form of kinship. Factors that become obstacles in community empowerment in the implementation of Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) programs are delays in the disbursement of investment fund assistance (BDI), input competency facilitators in various empowerment fields, as well as the sectoral ego interests of each community empowerment actor. The delay in disbursing BDI allocations has implications for the constraints of the development and empowerment process. Input from facilitators has become an obstacle in developing empowerment and facilitation methods. The interests of sectoral egos cause ineffective division of roles so that potential in each sector cannot be fully benefite
