One element of culture that always exist in society , namely art . Every region in Indonesia there are a variety - variety type of art ranging from being blown up the limb as demonstrated . one culture there is the art of dance . In Indonesia , there are various protean dance that spread from Sabang to marauke , one of which is tanggai dance contained in Palembang of South Sumatra Province . Tanggai dance hidden inside habitus that exist in society Palembang . Habitus is used as the basis for Palembang people to act and interpret the world in their daily reality . The habitus is in tanggai dance : first , the dance represents the orientation of life and values of the people of Palembang . Secondly , dance as a picture kinship systems Palembang society

Full text linkThis thesis entitled "Changes in Farmer Strategies Utilizing Agricultural Land in Gumawang District of Belitang Ogan Komering Ulu Timur". This study reviewing the strategies of farmers in utilizing of agricultural land, farmers strategy changes that occurred in Gumawang, then the cause of the source of change strategies of farmer and forms of peasant farmers in utilizing the strategy of agricultural land in Gumawang District  of  Belitang  Ogan  Komering Ulu  Timur.  This study is a qualitative descriptive study. Determination of the informants in this study conducted in a "purposive". The technique of data analysis in this study was using Life History Analysis with used Construction of Day approaches. The results of this study indicate that (1) strategies or ways in which farmers in utilizing of agricultural land by making use of agricultural land to plant rice, then were using the tenuous to keep fish and plant crops. (2) there are two kinds of the changes in the strategy of farmers in agricultural utilize the land, namely the permanent changes and the temporary changes. (3) the source of the farmers’ strategy changes caused by factors of education,  science  and  technology,  economy, population growth, and the strategic location of the rice fields. (4) The forms of the strategy changes is a change that leads farmers to non-agricultural sectors or lead to the development of the city. Then in doing the study, researchers found some terms or the field findings, including: ngluku / mbajak, rendeng-gadu, tandur, ndaot, and legowo. The terms that finding in the field is a term contained in the terms used by the agricultural society of Java  that  was  around  in  Gumawang District  Belitang Ogan Komering Ulu Timur it self

Full text link"Spare time" or "free time" is remaining time someone has besides the time they have for series of mandatory activities to make ends meet. Thus, spare time can be filled with activities such relaxing, resting, recreation, or any other activities to develop one's self without any coercion from others. With Torkildsen (2011) approach, in this writings we found out that Chinese ethnic merchants and Toba Bataknese ethnic merchants in Tanjung Pinang have different ways to spend their spare time: (1) On their time while doing the business, Chinese ethnic merchants prefer to fill their spare time watching television and on the other hand Toba Bataknese ethnic merchants prefer to spend their free time listening to the music. (2) As an activity, on their free time Chinese ethnic merchants choose to travel; Toba Bataknese ethnic merchants choose to do some exercises. (3) For positive mental health or for better mood, Chinese ethnic merchants choose to pay a visit to synagogues, while in contrary Toba Bataknese ethnic merchants prefer to attend "family-name gathering". (4) For broaden meaning of spare time, Chinese ethnics merchants prefer activities which give them freedom, while Toba Bataknese ethnic merchants choose to have conversations with colleagues. (5) From lifestyle perspective, both Chinese and Toba Bataknese ethnic merchants choose to fill their spare time with social activities.Â

Women have been dominant activities, in the classifications of rubbish in the household, make product handy craft, socialization, supply accommodation to guest in training of rubbish management. This research use qualitative method. Explore data trough in-depth interview and observation as primer data. Ecofeminism perspective believe that all of activities women must be done by awareness, not only by social construction that women are feminine and care. All of activities women in Dusun Sukunan are not suitable with Ecofeminism perspective. They done because of nature character. So the awareness process must be done. Â

Full text linkThis research entitled The Signifier and Signified of Sex Commodification in the Movie Kambing Jantan created by Rudi Soedjarwo. The problems in this research are signifier (form), signified (mean) and signification (interpretation) about sex commodification in this movie Kambing Jantan created by Rudi Soedjarwo. This research was desriptive qualitative research that used discourse analysis with taking ten informants that consist of five boys and five girls of University Sriwijaya’s student that has watched that film. The result of research showed that the signifier (the form of sex behaviour) in this movie Kambing Jantan was holding hand, hugging and kissing. The signified (the mean of sex behaviour) was to described the reality and to showed affection. The significations in this research were; first, the forms of sex behaviour was not suitable to show in this movie because they assumed that mostly the watchers movie was teenagers and they said that teenager will be easy to imitation the scenes of sex behaviour in the movie. Second, they said that the forms of sex behaviour was permitted to showed in this movie because the scenes of that sex behaviour were not often showed in the movie and the scene that unshowed still in normal stage that not till having sex
