    レボブピバカインのラット眼窩下孔への伝達麻酔効果

    application/pdfブピバカインは,鏡像異性体のR(+)体とS(-)体を同等量含むラセミ体であるのに対し,レボブピバカインはS(-)体のみで構成されている.レボブピバカインは,ブピバカインと比べ中枢神経系や心臓循環器系に対する毒性は低い.ラットの眼窩下孔に伝達麻酔を行い,上唇電気刺激に伴う体性感覚誘発電位(SEP)の変化を指標として,レボブピバカインの局所麻酔効果を,リドカイン,ブピバカイン,ロピバカインと比較した.効果発現時間は,0.5%レボブピバカインと0.75%ロピバカインが注射直後と最も早く,0.5%ロピバカインは注射10分後と最も遅かった.持続時間は0.5%レボブピバカインと0.75%ロピバカインが注射直後から180分以上持続し,0.5%ロピバカインは注射10分後から110分後までの100分間で最も短かった.SEP振幅が消失するまで,または最大に抑制されるまでの時間が早かったのは,0.5%と0.75%のレボブピバカイン,0.75%ロピバカインでいずれも注射10分後で,遅かったのは0.5%ブピバカインで注射25分後であった.SEP振幅が消失していた時間が最も長かったのは,0.75%のレボブピバカインとロピバカインであった.レポブピバカインは今回使用した薬剤の中で局所麻酔効果が最も強かった.ラットを用いた実験において,レボブピバカインは0.5%の濃度で十分な局所麻酔効果が得られた.レボブピバカインを臨床の場で眼窩下孔への伝達麻酔で使用する場合,0.5%の濃度で十分な局所麻酔効果が得られると思われる.journal articl

    Immunohistochemical expression of heat shock proteins in the mouse periodontal tissues due to orthodontic mechanical stress.

    application/pdfThe histopathology of periodontal ligament of the mouse subjected to mechanical stress was studied. Immunohistochemical expressions of HSP27 and p-HSP27 were examined. Experimental animals using the maxillary molars of ddY mouse by Waldo method were used in the study. A separator was inserted to induce mechanical stress. After 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 9 hours and 24 hours, the regional tissues were extracted, fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.05M phosphate-buffered fixative solution. Paraffin sections were made for immunohistochemistry using HSP27 and p-HSP27. In the control group, the periodontal ligament fibroblasts expressed low HSP27 and p-HSP27. However, in the experimental group, periodontal ligament fibroblasts expressed HSP27 10 minutes after mechanical load application in the tension side. The strongest expression was detected 9 hours after inducing mechanical load. p-HSP27 was also expressed in a time-dependent manner though weaker than HSP27. The findings suggest that HSP27 and p- HSP27 were expressed for the maintenance of homeostasis of periodontal ligament by the activation of periodontal ligament fibroblasts on the tension side. It also suggests that these proteins act as molecular chaperones for osteoblast activation and maintenance of homeostasis.journal articl

    application/pdfTo understand the current status of the urgent dental and oral surgical treatment during after-hour and holidays, we investigated clinic-statistically the outpatients at the emergency unit of Matsumoto Dental University Hospital from April 2008 to March 2010. The number of emergency outpatients was 748 in 2008 and 680 in 2009 school year, respectively. The chief complaints were "pain", "inflammation" and "injury" in order, and they occupied 79.1% of all. The emergency patients tended to increase at August and December. The arriving time to Hospital showed two peaks that one was early evening in holidays and the other was around 20:00 in weekdays. The emergency outpatients resided in Matsumoto city (527 patients), Shiojiri city (387 patients), Higashi-Tsukama county (111 patients) and Azumino city (103 patients). Matsumoto Dental University Hospital seemed to contribute the regional emergency dental and oral surgical treatment.journal articl

    application/pdfAllodynia can be induced by transection of the inferior alveolar nerve (IAN). However, even though the transected IAN is a component of the mandibular nerve in the trigeminal ganglion (TG), allodynia developes in the whisker pads, which are innervated by the uninjured infraorbital nerve (ION), a component of the maxillary nerve in the TG. Our microarray analyses have found that many gene expression levels not only in the injured IAN cell bodies, but also in the uninjured neurons were changed by IAN transection. To demonstrate the relationship between gene expression changes in ION neurons and allodynia, we investigated the expression of 22 genes that were up-regulated in the TG ION area containing ION cell bodies in IAN-transected rats. Real-time PCR, in situ hybridization and quantitative PCR analyses indicated that the myelin basic protein (MBP) mRNA was localized to the trigeminal ganglion neurons and that the expression was significantly up-regulated in the ION area of TG after IAN transection. This finding suggests that MBP or myelin sheath in the uninjured neuron plays a role in allodynia onset following nerve injury.journal articl

    application/pdfThe fatigue destruction strength of titanium materials is increased by annealing at 450℃. It is considered that this is because the residual strain is removed. Therefore, in this study, the thermal treatment of titanium materials after cold-work was performed at 450℃, and we evaluated whether residual strain removal is possible using X-ray diffraction. As a result of experiments, the following conclusions were made: 1. X-ray diffraction confirmed the presence of residual strain in titanium materials after stamping press. 2. The residual strain in titanium materials after stamping press was decreased by heating at 450℃. 3. The hardness of titanium materials was higher after than before stamping press, and that of titanium materials after stamping press showed a lower value after heating at 450℃ than before heating.journal articl
