application/pdfIt was found by Takazoe and Nakamura that transmissable experimental mixed infection was produced by oral anaerobic three species. Various acid-mucopolysaccharides degradating activities of heparinase-producing Bacteroides, Bacteroides melaninogenicus and Propionibacterium acnes respectively, and the lecithin degradating factor of the latter microorganism were studied. Results obtaind are as follows. 1. Heparinase-producing Bacteroides was found to degrade heparin, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid in the substrate added Trypticase broth, respectively. Propionibacterium acnes degradated the latter two substrates except for heparin in this broth, but Bacteroides melaninogenicus did not affect any acid-mucopolysaccharides. 2. As for degradation activity of crude enzyme extracted from two microorganisms having degradating ability, heparin and chondroitin sulfate degradation activities of heparinase-producing Bacteroides appeared only by both substrates added to preculture broth, but hyaluronic acid degradation was not affected with substrate added. The enzyme of Propionibacterium acnes was produciable. 3. Egg yolk reaction factor of Propionibacterium acnes was found to degrade lecithin by plate method, paper-chromatography and increase of titration value with N/100 NaOH solution of reaction mixture. The factor was released into the medium and was precipitated by ammonium sulfate. The lecithin hydrolytic activity of this fraction was not dializable and inactive at 65℃. The evidence from serial experiments indicated that this factor was an enzyme, lecithinase, possessing characters as optimal reaction at pH 6.5~7.0 and 37℃. 4. Possible role of three anaerobes producing mixed infection in the etiology of Periodontal disease was discussed based upon degradating enzymes of extensive substrates of those species including collagen-splitter, Bacteroides melaninogenicus.journal articl

application/pdf1) Two cases of pleomorphic adenoma in the submaxillary salivary glands, which is very rare, were reported. 2) In the first case both a tumor lesion and salivary glands were removed, while in the second case only the tumor lesion was removed. 3) The first case had a history of a surgical enucleation at the same area, but malignant appearence was not recognised in the removed tissue histopathologically. 4) Histopathologically, they were diagnosed as benign pleomorphic adenoma, and these were classified into an adenoma type and a solid type according to the Y. Shimada's classification.journal articl

application/pdfThe relation of the microstructure to mechanical properties had been studied on Au-Pd-Cu-Ag system alloy treated under various theremal conditions. In this report, they are made distinctly. 1. On the alloy, it was concluded to cause the transformations at 300℃, 430℃ and 680℃ by differential dilato-meter. The effect of age-hardening treatment was obtained by heating from 300 to 400℃. 2. The hardness of the specimen heating at high temperature after solid solution treatment, was indicated that maximun of hardness was Hv 276 under the high temperature microvickers hardness tester at 350℃ and 400℃ but that as-cast was decreased as heating. 3. The maximun of mechanical strength was obtained by heat-treatment at 350℃ for 60 min. after solid solution treatment at 800℃. The maximum value was tensile strength of 94kg/mm^2, bending strength of 115kg/mm^2, and Hv 294. 4. The bending stength was influenced by thickness of specimens. 5. The microstructure of as-cast specimen was observed to vary, heating above 500℃ by the high temperature microscope, but that in the spesimen treated solid solution some acicular precipitaties were appeared in the grain and they were disappeared at above 700℃. 6. The most of the precipitates was observed on the microstructure of specimen heated at 350℃ after solid solution treatment at 800℃.journal articl
