鋳造精度に関する研究その7. Co-Cr-Ni系合金を低温鋳型で作製する鋳造体の精度に関する改善方法について
application/pdfIn this paper an improved method for the accuracy and the castability of the castings made with chromium-cobalt-nickel base alloys was described. Their restorations of crowns or bridges are difficult to set on the patient, which have casting shrinkage from 1.8 percent to 2.4 percent and high melting temperature above 1100℃. In this study, they were produced by the mold kept at low temperature. The molds were prepared by cooling at 200-400℃ in the furnace, after the amount of graphite containing the investments were burnt out at 800℃ for half-hour period. Dimensional changes of the investment keeping at 200-400℃, after it was heated at 800℃, were relatively magunitude than that of during heating. The castings made by means of low temperature mold used with phosphate bonded investments and linning Kaowool sheets in place of asbestos ribbon, produced the best fits. The accuracy of castings were influenced by the kinds of Kaowool sheets. The castability decreased by low temperature mold, were able to recover by means of forming the casting crucible to acute angle and rising the temperature of molten metals.journal articl

松本歯科大学第2口腔外科における来院患者の検討
application/pdfDuring the period of from April, 1974 to March, 1978, 1952 patients were seen at the Department of Oral Surgery II, Matsumoto Dental College. The patients were increased in number year by year. Their proportions according to the diagnosis were approximately as follows; tooth extraction including impacted and supernumerary, 65%, inflammation 16%, cyst 5%, congenital malformation 3%, tumor 3%, trauma 2%, and others 6%. Of these patients, about 8% were treated in hospitalized. Among them, 31% were inflammation and 23% were malformation, mainly cleft lip and/or palate, which may indicate some characteristics of our department. Although efforts had been made in the manners of clinical training of the students and in increasing the patients, the numbers of them were not sufficient enough. Some of the interested cases were described in detail.journal articl
歯根透明象牙質のMicroradiographyとElectron-microscopy,第1報
application/pdfUsing 25 incisors and molars obtained from patients over 60 years of age, most of transparent root dentin and some of opaque dentin were studied by means of ordinary microscopy, microradiography and electron-microscopy both of transmission and scanning. Results are as follows: 1. There were two optical natures in the radio-opaque dentin, the one was transparent (compare Figs. 1, 2t with the same part in Fig. 5), and the other was opaque (cf. Figs. 1, 2 arrow with the same part in Fig. 5). 2. There were two radiological natures in the opaque dentin in the dry ground section, the one was radio-opaque (cf. Figs. 1, 2 arrow with the same part in Fig. 5), and the other was radio-lucent (cf. Figs. 1, 2 o with the same part in Fig. 5). 3. The opaque dentin in dry specimen, having radio-lucency (Figs. 1, 2 o) disappeared its opacity when it mounted with Canada balsam (Figs. 3, 4). However, the opaque dentin having radio-opacity (Figs. 1, 2 arrow) did not show any changes when it mounted with Canada balsam (Figs. 3, 4). 4. The developments of the transparent root dentin were shown due to the calcium salt deposition into the dentinal tubules by microradiography (Fig. 9), scanning electron-microscopy (Fig. 10) and transmission electron-microscopy (Figs. 11, 12).journal articl
歯周病治療における付着歯肉について:歯周外科処置と付着歯肉の変化
application/pdfThe clinical study was performed to investigate the prognosis of subgingival scaling,root planing, gingivectomy and flap operation in 44 patients with periodontal diseases,aged from 18 to 56 years old, who were observed during a period from 3 to 24 months,following their treatments. The relationship between width of attached gingiva measured by Bowers and various clinical indices ; such as gingival index by Loe, OHI-Score (plaque and calculus-index) by Greene and Vermillion, depth of periodontal pocket (mm) by pocket marker and bone loss score (%) by Schei, were examined. Then the total results were evaluated from 3 clinical indices : width of attached gingiva, gingival index and depth of pocket. The following results were obtained ;
1) The mean width of attached gingiva in the maxillary and mandibular teeth with periodontal disease was measured 3.7± LS mm, 3.0 ±1.85mm in central incisors. 2) Mean width of attached gingiva with periodontal disease was found to decrease in
proportion to the severities of gingival index, depth of pockt in the maxillary and mandibular teeth and bone loss in the mandibular teeth. 3) Mean width of attached gingiva after scaling and periodontal surgery was tended to increase during post operative experimental periods. Mean width of attached gingiva following flap operation was consider increased than
that of scaling and gingivectomy. Mean of attached gingiva of 3 and 24 months following flap operation was increased by 1.0 mm, 0.8 mm respectively which was statisticaly significant. (p<0.001, p<0.05). 4 ) Mean depth of pocket and gingival index following scaling and period periodontal surgery were significantly decreased during the experimental period, with a mimimum after 3 months. Mean depth of pocket and gingival index following flap operation were considerably decreased than that of scaling and gingivectomy (p<0.05). 5) The result of inflammatory condition following scaling and periodontal surgery declined gradually with the passage of time in less than 24 months. 6) Mean OHI-Score following scaling and periodontal surgery were considerably decreased during experimental period, but there were tendency to increase with the passage of time in less than 24 months.
7) Rate of improvement of scaling, gingivectomy and flap operation were 82.1%, 72.2%,85.4%, respectively and comparatively better results were observed in flap operation than in the other procedures. 8 ) Total successful cases at 3 and 24 months post operation in this study were each 82.8%, 79.9% respectively.journal articl
