Ethical Code of Islamic Psychotherapy in Indonesia
Islamic psychotherapy has been an interesting discussion over the past few years. This is indicated by the number of studies on Islamic psychotherapy, both literature studies and experiments. As a method of psychotherapy, Islamic psychotherapy cannot be separated from ethics code. However, Islamic psychotherapy is based on two principles, namely the science of psychology and Islamic religion. It leads to debate about the form of ethical code of Islamic psychotherapy. This study aimed to provide suggestions for the formulation of a code of ethics in Islamic psychotherapy using literature study. The result is a clear formulation of ethical code of Islamic psychotherapy. The formulation is based on psychology ethics which is then interpreted according to the context of Islamic psychotherapy. It is intended that the perception and implementation of Islamic psychotherapy can be standardized and not leading to ethical violation

Comparative Review Between COVID-19 and Stunting: Communication Framework Toward Risk-Mitigating Behavior
In addition to COVID-19, stunting is another threat facing Indonesia. Although not as deadly as COVID-19, stunting requires immediate responses; otherwise it will burden our development agenda. Substantial evidences from application of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) accumulate significant relationship of health intentions to individuals’ behavior. Further extension of TPB that include other variables confirm the role of knowledge and risk perception in predicting health intentions and behavior. Similarly involve risk factors within public health area, risk communication of COVID-19 seems outperforms that of stunting. Using TPB’s perspective, this review of literature aims to analyze health promotion impacts of these health threats. Result indicates differences in risk communication strategy for COVID – indicated by emerging amateur health promoters – as to stunting. There is a need for intensive collaboration of Psychology and Communication studies in exploring communication strategies to help building health intentions toward performing risk-mitigating behaviors beyond COVID-19 and stunting alone

Time is an abstract concept that can be understood by making an analogy or a metaphor from a more concrete concept such as a spatial construct. Previous studies found that people from different cultures and languages constructed time movement differently. In addition, the use of specific time metaphor tends to activate different type of temporal reasoning. Time metaphor studies related to Indonesian’s culture and language are still limited. Although it is known that Indonesians tend to use different temporal reasoning compare to other countries, how their time metaphors may have impact on their temporal reasoning is still unknown. It is then important to further investigate the effect of time metaphor on time reasoning particularly in different cultural contexts and how it may have impact on people behavior. This paper will discuss some findings in the topic of time metaphor and temporal reasoning, including the influence of culture on time conception

“How Do I Stop Checking Things?” Understanding Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder from Neuropsychological Perspective
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is the fourth most common mental disorder and WHO classifies it as one of the ten most disabling medical conditions. OCD patients have difficulty in controlling the disturbing thoughts accompanied by ritualistic behavior performed by the patient as a way to reduce anxiety or fear that leads to distress and significant dysfunction in their everyday life. Studies using neuroimaging techniques indicated a number of abnormal functions in the orbitofrontal cortex and caudate nuclei in OCD patients. Abnormalities in one or more neurotransmitters such as serotonin, glutamate, GABA, and dopamine were also found to be associated with the mechanism of the brain circuitry associated with OCD symptoms. Genetic factors were proven to also contribute considerably to OCD. This article is a literature study on OCD, especially from a neuropsychological perspective highlighting the recent development of various techniques and methods of study
