Get PDFThe objective of this study is to examine the effect of capital investment to internationalization and f oreign sales growth and al so the effect of internationalization to firm performance in manufacturing company that listed in the I ndonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2015 period. The dependent variables in this study are internationalization, foreign sales growth, and ROA . Independent variables used are capital investmentandinternationalization, as well as control variables used are industry return, leverage, firm size, fixed assets ratio, market to book value, andsales growth. This study uses 2 regression analysis model, which is linear and quadratic model to test the hypothesis with a sample of 83 industrial manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2015 period. The numbers of observation used in this study are 415 observations. The result shows that capital investment has a s ignificant negative effect and U-shaped on internationalization of the company, capital investment has a significant positive effect on foreign sales growth of the company. Internationalization has no significant effect on firm performance

There are six main activities in the distribution center, i.e., receiving, putaway, storage, order picking, issuing and return. Distribution center has important role to supply the goods to the retail stores and because of the important role. Performance measurement in distribution center needs to be developed by considering the activities in the distribution center to make a more detailed and thorough evaluation. Based on the result of the performance measurement in X Company distribution center from January 2016 to June 2016, found the average performance of 2,518 in the range 4 that considered good, but there are indicators that have lower value, gap analysis and IPA (importance-performance analysis) is used to determine the priority for performance measurement improvement and priority proposals are made with the help of HOQ (House of Quality) to obtain the proposed improvement priorities

For that, we need an analysis and system design that can help solve existing problems. This study aims to determine how the system design, especially on service cycle based on IoT in improving the quality of service at the Ubaya’s Library on Tenggilis. This recommendation used System Development Life Cycle from system analysis stage to physical design stage which is limited to relationship database creation. The business entity has a shortage in overcoming the availability of raw materials and time to purchase raw materials. This research uses quantitative approach using Material Requirements Planning method. Data collection is done by using primary data. Primary data in question is by direct observation and interview with the owner and see the place of production. Then the data is processed through data processing that led to various findings of the lack of business entities related to raw material inventory for production. The results of the MRP design that have been made indicate that the improvement of the business entity. Business entities become more efficient, cost-effective and productivity increases

This study also want to prove the moderating effects of Gender among these four relation. This type of research is causal research with quantitative approach. This study using purposive sampling approach, which is a sampling technique based on the consideration or personal judgment of researchers associated with the characteristics of the population according to the research sample. Respondents in this study amounted to 200 people. The analysis in this study using a model of SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) and processed using SPSS software version 16.0 for Windows and AMOS version 21.0 for Windows for testing Measurement and Structural Model. The result of this study indicate that 3 from 8 hypothesis were not supported such as the role effects of moderating gender between a positive relationship between emotional value towards Brand Loyalty, Social Value towards Brand Loyalty, and Brand Identification towards Brand Loyalty

Get PDFAbstract - Some geriatric patients have difficulty in swallowing tablets, resulting non-compliance issues on patient. Respond from the issues, people developed an oral dosage tablet which easily become soft and rapidly disintegrate in mouth which called orally disintegrating tablet (ODT). Atenolol is one of the anti-hypertension drugs. Atenolol is classified as antagonist selective β1 receptor class that gives the effect of anti-hypertension with low bioavailability, it is necessary to change atenolol dosage forms become ODT to increased absorption of the drug in the body. To accelerate the disintegration time (less than 3 minutes) is used disintegrant sodium starch glycolate with concentration of 0% and 20%. The method that used in the tablet’s manufacture is a direct compresssion. The result of the ODT evaluation, tablet dispersion time in vitro, wetting time , water absorption ratio, and dissolution test with its parameters include (AUC, ED and kr) were analysed statistically using one way ANOVA. There a significant difference (α = 0,05) between the formulas that using sodium starch glycolate 0% and 20% in terms of tablet’s dispersion time in vitro, wetting time, water absorption ratio, dissolution test with its parameters include (AUC, ED and kr). The formula that gives the best result is the one that using 20% disintegran sodium starch glycolate because disintegration time in 19,85±0,95 seconds, tablet’s dispersion time in vitro 29,00±1,00 seconds, wetting time 23,33±1,53 seconds, water absorption ratio 555±28,45%, TQ% 1,41 minutes, the Q% 90,64±0,44%, AUC 10134,52±29,49% minutes, ED 84,45±0,27%, and kr 0,0056/minutes

Get PDFWith the increase of complexity in the business development, companies are required to survive and win the existing competition in business. Working with other companies is one way that companies can take. The cooperative relationship between buyers and suppliers is one example of the relationship that can arise in the business world. There are several factors that can affect buyer-supplier relationship, such as trust, commitment, and satisfaction. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of trust, commitment, economic satisfaction, and non-economic satisfaction towards buyer-supplier relationship in Surabaya. This research uses quantitative approach by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through Amos program. The data used in this study is the primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. The samples of this study were selected using non-probability sampling technique, the target population characteristics are those who work in companies domiciled in Surabaya and work in the purchasing departmentor in some companies called procurementand have a working experience in that section for ± 1 year. The number of samples used were 120 samples. The results of this study indicate that trust, commitment, economic satisfaction, and non-economic satisfaction have positive relation in buyer-supplier relationship in Surabaya
