    One form of educational and technological development is using Augmented Reality as an alternative learning media today. This study aimed to identify the needs of high school students for Augmented Reality-based Learning in Electricity Topics. This research involved 60 high school students in Samarinda. Data was collected using instruments such as observation sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The observation results show that the learning media commonly used are video and virtual simulations through the lecture method. Students are also used to and allowed to use smartphones to access modules and learning materials in class. The results of the questionnaire data analysis show that most students agree that the use of technology is needed to study electricity topics. The majority of students recognize the potential of AR but lack practical experience with it, indicating a significant opportunity for its integration into learning. This research concludes that augmented reality learning is needed as an alternative learning media for electricity. Therefore, we recommend that stakeholders be able to use or develop Augmented Reality media as a source of learning

    Problem-based learning (PBL) is an effective pedagogy in increasing scientific literacy among students, and this strategy helps students acquire and apply knowledge and develop higher-order thinking skills that prioritize problems obtained from real life.This study aims to investigate the influence of ill-structured type problem-based learning (PBL)  model on students\u27 science literacy skills in environmental change concept. The research was conducted at MAN 1 Pandeglang in the 2023/2024 school year using a quasi-experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. Two classes were selected as research samples (experimental class and control class) through simple random sampling technique. Data analysis using independent samples t-test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 26 showed that the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.004, which is below the significance level of α = 0.05. These results show that the use of ill-structured type problem-based learning models has a significant influence on improving students\u27 science literacy skills.     Practicum is one of the activities that has become a characteristic of Biology. Students have good learning experiences and concepts through practical activities. In the Excretory System material at high school level, there are obstacles in practical activities because the research samples used are limited and require special treatment. Learning media such as virtual laboratories expected can overcome these obstacles. This research aims to: (a) develop media in the form of a virtual laboratory on Excretory System material, (b) test the product so that the product is suitable for use, and (c) analyze the application of the product in improving student learning outcomes. This development research using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) are chosen in this study. The validation from the expert uses three experts, and for the user evaluation, this study uses 50 students as the respondent. The research results show that the feasibility test by experts is included in the valid category. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes before and after using virtual laboratory media. The N-gain calculation result of 0.53 is categorized in the medium category. Based on the results of product validation and application, it is concluded that the Excretory Systems Virtual Laboratory is suitable as an interactive support learning media and can improve the learning outcomes of high school students

    The development of technology has a significant impact on education, one of the innovative learning methods that can be applied in the digital era is augmented reality. The topic of atomic structure is one of the difficult subjects to understand and needs visualization so the development of augmented reality learning media is required. Augmented reality developed for the atomic structure topic is tailored to the needs of students, accompanied by sample questions, and materials, and can be accessed online or offline using Android. This research aims to determine the feasibility, including the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of augmented reality learning media on the atomic structure topic in an Android application. This development research method uses the ADDIE model of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instruments include validation sheets, interview guidelines, questionnaires, and pre-test & post-test exams that have been validated. The research sample consists of 90 eighth-grade students from SMPN 2 Merauke. The final result of this developmental research is a product in the form of an augmented reality atomic structure learning media application that is suitable for use and can be accessed through Android without an internet connection. The feasibility of the developed learning media is based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The material validation result is 82% (very valid) while the media validation is 80% (valid). The practicality test results average 84% (efficient). The effectiveness test results with an N-gain of 0.76 (high) and a percentage of 76% fall into the effective category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the product is suitable for use and there is an improvement in student understanding using augmented reality learning media

     During the 21st century, students are encouraged to develop skills that enable them to deal with real-life problems. The purpose of this study is to analyze what kind of 21st-century skills can be built during a teaching and learning process in the classroom. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) approach through a project-based learning (PjBL), or STEAM-PjBL-based learning, seems to provide a promise in the development of 21st-century skills of students. This study, therefore, is conducted to reveal the kind of skills that can be built during the STEAM-PjBL learning process. Using a literature review, this study collects and analyzes relevant articles from national and international journals through several search engine systems, such as Taylor & Francis Online, Springer, etc., and indexed databases, such as SCOPUS, DOAC, and Eric, both from the period of 2014-2022. This study found that the 4Cs of the 21st-century skills, namely, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creative thinking, can be built from the activities in each stage of the STEAM-PjBL learning process.  While the skills are evident from the literature review, a further empirical study is encouraged to be conducted to ensure how the skills can be successfully developed and further improved

    Virus Covid-19 muncul pada akhir tahun 2019. Penyebaran virus Covid-19 ini sulit terkendali karena semakin banyak orang yang terinfeksi virus ini, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia membuat kebijakan berupa proses belajar mengajar secara daring. Implementasi program pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) dipengaruhi aspek pedagogi, teknologi dan ekonomi. Proses pendidikan tidak hanya tentang peserta didik tetapi juga mengenai tenaga pendidik. Guru dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi pedagogi dan profesional yang relevan dengan PJJ. Praktikum berbasis inkuiri merupakan aktivitas belajar dan mengajar yang melibatkan siswa dalam observasi, manipulasi objek dan bahan-bahan nyata. Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kemampuan guru biologi SMA merancang dan mengujicoba praktikum mikrobiologi terapan sekolah berbasis local material pada masa pandemi Covid 19. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru biologi SMA di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Desain penelitian berupa deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian didominasi oleh guru yang memiliki pengalaman mengajar lebih dari 10 tahun. Berdasarkan pengalaman mengajar semakin berpengalaman guru mengajar maka kompetensi guru dalam mengajar juga baik. Berdasarkan gender, tidak ada perbedaan, kompetensi guru wanita dan pria tidak berbeda. Penggunaan praktikum mikrobiologi terapan berbasis local material memanfaatkan segala sesuatu yang ada di lingkungan sekitar sebagai media belajar, sehingga meskipun dalam kondisi pembelajaran jarak jauh, tetap guru biologi SMA dapat melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran secara maksimal serta memberi pengaruh yang baik terhadap pemahaman konsep serta mampu meningkatkan keterampilan lab guru. Kemampuan guru dalam menyusun RPP praktikum mikrobiologi terapan sekolah berbasis local material berpredikat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan guru sudah memiliki kompetensi dalam melaksanakan praktikum mikrobiologi terapan sekolah berbasis local material

    The impact of the STEAM approach in education can help students have 21st Century skills. This study aims to review the development of STEAM approach research on physics learning in Indonesia. Systematic literature review research with the content analysis method was used to review articles published from 2018-2022. The analysis techniques carried out are identification, screening and analysis. Assessment of article inclusion and quality is done to avoid bias in research. There were 28 articles that were in accordance with the focus of this study. The results of the study are the most widely used type of experimental research, the subject of research is at the junior high school level students grade VII and VIII with a sample number of 20-45 students. Test research instruments are widely used by examining light and optical materials. The variable that is often measured is creative thinking skills. Learning media integrated with the PjBL-STEAM model is the most widely used choice. Therefore, research variables that have not been measured are representation skills and higher-order thinking skills aspects of problem solving and physical materials that have never been used for testing are rigid body equilibrium, work and energy, temperature and heat, newton\u27s laws, electromagnetic, electrical and parabolic motion, so further study is needed on its implementation with the STEAM approach.ABSTRAKDampak pendekatan STEAM dalam pendidikan dapat membantu siswa memiliki keterampilan Abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan meninjau perkembangan penelitian pendekatan STEAM pada pembelajaran fisika di Indonesia. Penelitian systematic literature review dengan metode konten analisis digunakan meninjau artikel yang terbit dari tahun 2018-2022. Teknik analisis yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi, screening dan analisis. Penilaian inklusi dan kualitas artikel dilakukan untuk menghindari bias pada penilitian. Didapatlah 28 artikel yang memiliki kesesuaian dengan fokus penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen paling banyak digunakan, subjek penelitiannya pada siswa tingkat SMP kelas VII dan VIII dengan jumlah sampelnya 20-45 siswa. Instrumen penelitian tes banyak digunakan dengan meneliti materi cahaya dan optik. Variabel yang sering diukur adalah keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Media pembelajaran yang terintegrasi model PjBL-STEAM menjadi pilihan paling banyak digunakan. Oleh karena itu, variabel penelitian yang belum diukur adalah keterampilan representasi dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi aspek pemecahan masalah dan materi fisika yang belum pernah digunakan untuk pengujian adalah kesetimbangan benda tegar, usaha dan energi, suhu dan kalor, hukum newton, elektromagnetik, kelistrikan dan gerak parabola, sehingga hal tersebut diperlukannya kajian lebih lanjut mengenai implementasinya dengan pendekatan STEAM

    ENHANCING CRITICAL THINKING ON CLIMATE CHANGE: TPACK IMPLEMENTATION IN PBL WITH DIGITAL POSTERS

    Critical thinking skills are vital in the 21st Century to identify solutions to real-world problems like climate change. This research aims to test the effect of integrating the PBL (Problem-based Learning) Model with Digital Posters within the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge) framework on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in Samarinda on climate change. The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method involving two classes, an experimental and a control class. The treatment given to the experimental class was the PBL model with the help of digital posters, and the control class used the traditional lecture method. Data on students\u27 critical thinking skills was collected using a test technique in the form of 10 essay questions. Data analysis techniques used quantitative descriptive and T-tests. The research results showed significant differences in the critical thinking skills of the experimental and control classes after each class was treated. Based on these findings, it recommends the need for similar adoption by teachers in teaching complex topics such as climate change. These results also show the importance of integrating technology in learning to support the development of student\u27s critical thinking skills, especially in understanding complex topics

    One essential ability in physics is problem-solving ability. Problem-solving and physics are inseparable. This research aims to reveal how students solve physics problems. This research is quantitative descriptive research, namely describing students\u27 problem-solving abilities in Static Fluid material. This research was conducted on 28 Physics education students at one of the State Universities in East Java. Data was collected through tests and in-depth interviews. The research instrument was two test items on statistical fluid problem-solving. The results show that the students\u27 physics problem-solving abilities are still in the beginner category. Learners need to work on solving problems correctly with incomplete problem-solving aspects. The interviews showed that students\u27 difficulties in the problem-solving process were mainly in determining the physics approach to use and bringing the physics approach to specific conditions.     Integration between science and Islam is still not maximally applied in Chemistry Education UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This is because learning facilities regarding Islam and science are still lacking. This study aims to develop an Islamic integrated enrichment book of chemistry which focus on structure and function of cells material. The method that used is 4STMD (Four Step Material Development). There were four steps conducted by the researcher, it was a selection, structuring, characterization, and reduction. The evaluation were carried out by the experts on Islamic integration material, using test cloze and intervention of feasibility test from language, presentation, performance, and graphics aspects. The results obtained at the selection stage are 12 of the 21 concepts declared feasible with the results of the percentage of material eligibility of 100%. At the structuring, 12 valid draft teaching materials were obtained. Validation result showed the appropriateness of each concept from the expert. Assessment for characterizatition test obtained an average of 12 concepts have a high level of understanding with 84,33% are belong in easy category. Feasibility test present a very good categorized which proven by the percentage 85,94%. The enrichment book can be used as a reference of integrated Islamic chemistry for students in Biochemistry courses, especially the material structure and function of cells in order to integrate Islamic science and science in daily life
