POS and Psychological Empowerment as Moderating Variables on the Effect of Job Insecurity on Employee Performance in Islamic Banks
Abstract. Employee performance in a company is an important component. The occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused employees to feel job insecurity due to the rise of layoffs in various sectors. This will indirectly affect the performance of employees in a company so that the performance of the company will decrease. For this reason, perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment are needed to reduce the negative effect of job insecurity on employee performance. This study aims to examine the effect of job insecurity on employee performance with perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment as moderating variables. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods. Data were collected using a questionnaire via google form and distributed to employees who work at Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank Muamalat, and Bank Madina Syariah. The questionnaire collected was 252 and analyzed using MRA (Moderate Regression Analysis) to test the hypothesis with the SPSS version 24 application. Research shows that there is a negative influence between job insecurity on employee performance, perceived organizational support could moderate the relationship between job insecurity and employee performance, and psychological empowerment is not able to moderate the effect of job insecurity on employee performance.

Abstrak. Kinerja karyawan dalam sebuah perusahaan merupakan komponen penting. Terjadinya pandemic covid-19 menyebabkan karyawan merasakan job insecurity akibat maraknya kasus PHK pada berbagai sektor. Hal tersebut secara tidak langsung akan mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan pada sebuah perusahaan sehingga performa dari perusahaan akan menurun. Untuk itu, diperlukan perceived organizational support dan psychological empowerment untuk menurunkan pengaruh negative job insecurity terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh job insecurity terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan perceived organizational support dan psychological empowerment sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner melalui googleform dan didistribusikan pada karyawan yang bekerja di Bank Syariah Indonesia, Bank Muamalat, dan Bank Madina syariah Kuesioner yang terkumpul sebanyak 252 responden, dan dianalisis menggunakan MRA (Moderate Regression Analysis) untuk menguji hipotesis dengan aplikasi SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh negatif antara job insecurity terhadap kinerja karyawan, perceived organizational support mampu memoderasi hubungan job insecurity dengan kinerja karyawan, dan psychological empowerment tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh job insecurity terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Iron Elbow and Straight-Chain Tool to Reduce Slip on Wood Transportation: An Experimental Study
Abstract. One of the obstacles in transporting wood is the occurrence of slippage. Slippage results in low productivity of timber transport with high production costs and soil damage. The research method is an experimental approach, namely designing, manufacturing and testing the supporting tools in the form of angle iron and straight iron chain. The research objective was to determine the effect of the use of assistive devices on slippage, productivity, wood transport costs and soil damage. The results showed that: 1). Tools from the wheelbarrows of the conveyance wheel from the straight iron chain of the slope class 0-8%, 9-15%, and 16-25% can minimize the occurrence of slippage higher than not using this tool, increase the wood transportation productivity, low transportation production costs, and minimize soil damage; 2). Elbow iron and straight-chain tools are the most efficient and effective. 3). The use of tools in the transportation of wood in slopes 0-8%, 9-15%, and 16-25% is recommended for smooth production.

Abstrak. Salah satu hambatan dalam pengangkutan kayu adalah terjadinya selip. Selip berakibat pada rendahnya produktivitas pengangkutan kayu dengan biaya produksi yang tinggi dan terjadinya kerusakan tanah. Metode penelitian adalah pendekatan eksperimen yaitu merancang, membuat dan uji coba alat bantu berupa besi siku dan rantai besi lurus. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan alat bantu terhadap selip, produktivitas, biaya pengangkutan kayu dan kerusakan tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1). Alat bantu dari sarung roda alat angkutan dari rantai besi lurus kelas kelerengan 0-8%, 9-15% dan 16-25% dapat meminimalkan terjadinya selip lebih tinggi daripada tidak menggunakan alat bantu, meningkatkan produktivitas pengangkutan kayu, biaya produksi pengangkutan rendah, dan meminimalkan kerusakan tanah; 2). Alat bantu dari besi siku dan rantai besi lurus paling efisien dan efektif; 3). Penggunaan alat bantu pada kegiatan pengangkutan kayu di kelerengan 0-8%, 9-15% dan 16-25% dianjurkan untuk kelancaran produksi.

The Roles of Workplace Culture In The Relationship Between Performance Appraisal Effectiveness and Employee Outcomes
Abstract. This study aims to examine the effect of performance appraisal effectiveness on employee outcomes through the role of workplace culture. Survey method is used for data collection. Partial Least Square (PLS) is used as data analysis on 100 samples of retail companies in West Java, Indonesia. The results show that performance appraisal effectiveness has a positive effect on workplace culture; workplace culture has a positive effect on employee outcomes (managerial performance and job involvement). The results also prove that workplace culture mediates the effect of performance appraisal effectiveness on employee outcomes. The study has practical implications that it is very important for organizations to consider the importance of a positive workplace culture when designing a performance appraisal system that is not only good but also effective in improving employee outcomes.Keywords: Performance appraisal effectiveness, employee outcomes, workplace cultureAbstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh efektivitas penilaian kinerja terhadap hasil kerja karyawan melalui peran budaya tempat kerja. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei. Analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) pada 100 sampel perusahaan ritel di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas penilaian kinerja berpengaruh positif terhadap budaya kerja; budaya tempat kerja memiliki pengaruh positif pada hasil karyawan (kinerja manajerial dan keterlibatan kerja). Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa budaya tempat kerja memediasi pengaruh efektivitas penilaian kinerja terhadap hasil kerja karyawan. Studi ini memiliki implikasi praktis bahwa sangat penting bagi organisasi untuk mempertimbangkan pentingnya budaya tempat kerja yang positif ketika merancang sistem penilaian kinerja yang tidak hanya baik tetapi juga efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil kerja karyawan.Kata kunci:Efektivitas penilaian kinerja, hasil kerja karyawan, budaya tempat kerj
How Negative eWOM Affects Purchase Intention: Evidence from Indonesian Traveling Apps Users
Abstract. Traveling apps are effective tools to search information and purchase tourism products. Online reviews are the most influential information source in the tourism industry. This study determines the effect of eWOM factors: informational determinants (perceived eWOM usefulness and eWOM perceived credibility of online reviews); personal determinants (using experience of eWOM and product involvement); and the effects of negative reviews (perceived diagnosticity of negative reviews and negative review impression) on purchase intention in traveling applications through some mediating variables (attitude toward online review, attitude toward product, attitude toward brand, and eWOM adoption). This study uses Information Adoption Model and integrates consumer attitude. There were 356 respondents collected through online survey and purposive sampling. Further, Structural Equation Modeling was employed to analyze 17 hypotheses. The results showed that only perceived credibility of online review has no indirect impact on purchase intention. It exhibits the importance role of consumers\u27 attitude and eWOM adoption as mediating variables in promoting purchase intention. This study contributes to industry, especially traveling application managers to arrange their eWOM strategies and travel product providers in managing their brand activities.

Abstrak. Aplikasi traveling efektif digunakan untuk mencari informasi dan membeli produk wisata. Ulasan online adalah sumber informasi paling berpengaruh dalam industri pariwisata. Studi ini menganalisis pengaruh faktor eWOM: informational determinants (perceived eWOM usefulness dan perceived eWOM ecredibility of online reviews), personal determinants (using experience of eWOM dan product involvement), serta effects of negative reviews (perceived diagnosticity of negative reviews dan negative review impression) terhadap purchase intention dalam aplikasi traveling dengan beberapa variabel mediasi (attitude terhadap online review, attitude terhadap produk, attitude terhadap brand, dan eWOM adoption). Penelitian ini menggunakan Information Adoption Model. Terdapat 356 respon yang dikumpulkan melalui survei online dengan purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling digunakan untuk menganalisis 17 hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya perceived credibility of online review tidak memiliki dampak tidak langsung terhadap purchase intention. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya peran sikap konsumen dan adopsi eWOM sebagai variabel mediasi dalam meningkatkan purchase intention. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi kepada industri, khususnya pengelola aplikasi perjalanan untuk mengatur strategi eWOM mereka dan penyedia produk perjalanan dalam mengelola aktivitas merek mereka.

Examining the Technical Issues in Teletherapy for Children with Developmental Delays
Abstract. Medical digitization has advanced in developing countries, improving work efficiency. Teletherapy has emerged from this advancement. Nevertheless, teletherapy has encountered obstacles, such as software and hardware issues. Problems arose from technological factors such as slow connectivity, inadequate hardware specs, and poor audiovisual. This study aims to examine the technical issues related to teletherapy for children with developmental delays. By implementing descriptive statistical approaches with 43 participants, we found that patients struggled to be involved in teletherapy, resulting in the need for special guidance in the process. Therapists felt their clients\u27 places were extremely crowded, and the low video quality of their devices hampered their ability to conduct optimal observations. Patients had a higher level of satisfaction and interest than therapists, meaning the patients would likely continue to be involved in the future. We also came up with another finding indicating that confidentiality has not become a major concern since building an intimate therapeutic relationship and learning to operate technology are still top priorities. Henceforth, implementing teletherapy would need a solid strategy in the future.

Abstrak. Digitalisasi kesehatan mengalami kemajuan di negara-negara berkembang, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi kerja. Teleterapi muncul dari kemajuan ini. Meski demikian, teleterapi memiliki berbagai kendala, seperti masalah perangkat lunak dan keras. Masalah muncul dari faktor teknologi seperti konektivitas lambat, spesifikasi perangkat keras yang tidak memadai, dan audiovisual yang buruk. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji permasalahan teknis terkait teleterapi untuk anak-anak dengan keterlambatan perkembangan. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan statistik deskriptif terhadap 43 partisipan, kami menemukan bahwa pasien kesulitan untuk terlibat dalam teleterapi, sehingga memerlukan bimbingan khusus dalam prosesnya. Terapis merasa tempat klien mereka sangat ramai, dan kualitas video yang rendah pada perangkat mereka menghambat kemampuan mereka untuk melakukan observasi yang optimal. Para pasien memiliki tingkat kepuasan dan minat yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan para terapis, di mana para pasien kemungkinan besar akan terus terlibat di masa mendatang. Kami juga menemukan temuan lain yang menunjukkan bahwa kerahasiaan belum menjadi perhatian utama karena membangun hubungan terapeutik yang intim dan belajar mengoperasikan teknologi masih menjadi prioritas utama. Untuk selanjutnya, penerapan teleterapi akan memerlukan strategi yang solid ke depannya.

The Role Of Work From Home In Improving Work–Life Balance
Abstract. The purpose of the study was to examine the impact of work from home on work–life balance through work engagement. The population of the study included staff from Badan Pendapatan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah (BPKAD) of the Jalur Pantura (Blora, Rembang, and Pati). The number of samples was calculated based on the method of maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) proposed by Hair et al., and a total sample of 120 respondents was obtained using the proportional random sampling method. The data were collected through questionnaires. The data analysis method used partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 3.0 test tool. Results show that home-based work has a negative and marginal impact on work–life balance and a positive and significant impact on work engagement. Further, work engagement has a positive and significant impact on work–life balance. Indirect results indicate that work engagement may mediate the effects of work from home on work–life balance.Keywords: Work from Home, Work Engagement, Work–Life Balance, Public Sector, State Civil Apparatus.Abstract. Jumlah sampel dihitung berdasarkan teknik Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) yang dikemukakan oleh Hair dan diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 120 responden dengan menggunakan metode proportional random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan minimal Partial Square Structural Equation Modeling (SEMPLS) dengan program SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil pengujian langsung menunjukkan bahwa work from home berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap work-life balance, work from home berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement, work engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work-life balance. The Effect of Transformational Leadership on Business Performance Through Business Agility Expedition Services
Abstract. The Covid-19 pandemic has put pressure on various business sectors because social distancing policies have resulted in significantly reduced interactions between humans. So expedition services are the choice to meet most human needs. So that the shipping service business is a business that is experiencing rapid development during the pandemic. This study aims to analyze: 1) the influence of transformational leadership on the business performance of courier service, 2) the influence of transformational leadership on the business agility of courier service, 3) the influence of business agility on the business performance of courier service. The analysis technique used Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS. The data was collected through the dissemination of questionnaires. Research respondents are shipping service companies with the criteria for joining the Association of Indonesian Express, POS and Logistics Delivery Service Companies (ASPERINDO). The results of the analysis showed that transformational leadership affects performance; transformational leadership affects business agility, and agility affects the company\u27s performance. The results of the statistic test showed that all constituent dimensions of the model are at a high level. It means that the results of this study confirmed that the Covid-19 pandemic becomes a blessing for the courier service business. People\u27s habits of shopping online during the pandemic are believed to not be significantly reduced even though the pandemic is over. This research recommends courier service companies maintain market agility and operational agility by improving digital capacity. In the future, research that involves the digital capability of the courier service business is needed during the pandemic.Keywords: Transformational leadership, agility, performance, courier service, COVID-19Abstrak. Pandemik Covid-19 telah memberikan tekanan on berbagai sektor bisnis karena kebijakan social distancing mengakibatkan interaksi antar manusia berkurang significant. Maka jasa ekspedisi menjadi pilihan untuk memenuhi sebagain besar kebutuhan manusia. Sehingga bisnis jasa ekspedisi menjadi bisnis yang mengalami perkembangan pesat selama pandemik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) pengaruh transformational leadership on performancebisnis jasa ekspedisi, 2) pengaruh transformational leadership on business agility jasa ekspedisi, 3) pengaruh business agility on business performance jasa ekspedisi. Teknik analisis menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran questionnaire. Respondents penelitian adalah perusahaan jasa ekspedisi dengan kriteria tergabung di dalam Asosiasi Perusahaan Jasa Pengiriman Ekspres, POS and Logistik Indonesia (ASPERINDO). Jumlah respondents penelitian sebanyak 79 orang, dengan satu perusahaan diwakili oleh satu respondents. Hasil analisis menunjukkan that transformational leadership berpengaruh on kinerja; transformational leadership berpengaruh on business agility; Agilityberpengaruh on company performance. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan that semua dimensions penyusun model berada pada level yang tinggi. Artinya, hasil penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi that pandemik covid-19 menjadi berkah bagi bisnis jasa ekspedisi. Kebiasaan masyarakat berbelanja secara online dimasa pandemic diyakini tidak akan berkurang significant meskipun pandemic sudah berakhir. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada perusahaan jasa ekspedisi untuk menjaga Agilitypasar maupun Agilityoperasional dengan meningkatkan kapabilas digital. The Influence of Financial Threat on Go-Jek Drivers\u27 Willingness to Change Financial Behavior in Surabaya, Indonesia
Abstract. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Go-Jek drivers have experienced economic difficulties due to a decline in online orders from consumers. This decline and the fear of contracting the virus have prompted Go-Jek drivers to try various alternatives to be able to meet their daily necessities. This study aims to determine the effect of financial threat on the willingness to change financial behavior among Go-Jek drivers in Surabaya, Indonesia. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed online using Google Forms, Instagram as well as offline, so that 100 respondents could be obtained. After the data was collected, it was processed through SEM-PLS to examine the relationship of economic hardship, debt, anxiety, and financial threat to willingness to change financial behavior. On the one hand, the results of the analysis show that debt and anxiety had a significant effect on financial threat, and that financial threat had a significant effect on the willingness to change financial behavior. On the other hand, they indicated that economic hardship did not have a significant effect on financial threat. Difficult financial conditions affected Go-Jek drivers\u27 psychological conditions, and they had to be willing to change their financial behavior to survive; hence, psychological factors and financial knowledge have an influence on individuals in terms of their ability to make wise financial decisions.Keywords: Economic hardship, debt, anxiety, financial threat, willingness to change financial behaviorAbstrak. Selama pandemic COVID-19, driver Go-Jek mengalami kesulitan ekonomi disebabkan sulit mendapatkan pesanan secara online dari konsumen. Aktivitas pesanan online yang menurun serta ketakutan tertular virus mendorong driver Go-Jek untuk berusaha berbagai cara agar tetap dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh financial threat terhadap willingness to change financial behavior pada driver Go-Jek di Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online menggunakan google form, instagram serta offline, sehingga diperoleh 100 responden. Setelah data terkumpul, maka data diolah menggunakan SEM-PLS untuk menguji pengaruh economic hardship, debt, anxiety dan financial threat terhadap willingness to change financial behavior. Hasil analisis menunjukkan debt dan anxiety berpengaruh signifikan terhadap financial threat. Financial threat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap willingness to change financial behavior. Sebaliknya, economic hardship tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial threat. Kondisi keuangan yang sulit mempengaruhi kondisi psikologi driver Go-Jek, sehingga dibutuhkan kerelaan untuk mengubah perilaku keuangan agar tetap dapat bertahan, dimana faktor psikologi dan pengetahuan finansial memiliki pengaruh pada diri sendiri untuk dapat mengambil keputusan finansial dengan bijaksana.Katakunci: Economic hardship, debt, anxiety, financial threat, willingness to change financial behavio
