    Financial Retirement Plan Based on Knowledge-Based View Theory Perspective

    Abstract. Retirement usually occurs in the age range of 55–65, depending on the type of job. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it may not be adequate to measure retirement only by age because many employees were forced to retire early. Thus, the issue of retirement planning has once again become a relevant issue to discuss. Most previous studies explain that retirement planning uses the theory of planned behavior, but unlike these, this study approaches retirement planning with the knowledge-based view theory. The theory of knowledge-based view can explain knowledge as a fundamental resource for an individual’s ability to plan retirement. Data was collected for this study from a survey for employees and professionals in Indonesia and was analyzed with PLS-SEM. Empirical evidence showed that knowledge sharing actually weakens the influence of family financial education on retirement planning. Therefore, it can be concluded that knowledge sharing cannot strengthen family education to make better retirement planning. This study also revealed the possibility that knowledge sharing could change employee retirement planning into other financial plans that are also beneficial for retirement.Keywords: Retirement planning; theory planned behavior; knowledge-based view; knowledge sharing; financial planning Abstrak. Pensiun biasanya diukur berdasarkan usia, dalam rentang usia 55-65 tahun, tergantung pada jenis pekerjaannya. Namun, di masa pandemi Covid-19, masa pensiun mungkin tidak lagi cukup diukur dengan hanya berdasarkan usia. Hal itu dikarenakan banyak karyawan yang terpaksa pensiun dini selama pandemi.  Dengan demikian pada masa pandemi isu perencanaan pensiun sekali lagi menjadi masalah yang menarik untuk didiskusikan. Sebagian besar penelitian sebelumnya menjelaskan perencanaan pensiun menggunakan dasar theory planned behavior (TPB), namun berbeda dengan banyak penelitian sebelumnya, dalam penelitian ini perencanaan pensiun didekati dengan teori knowledge-based view theory (KBV). Teori KBV diasumsikan bisa menjelaskan pengetahuan sebagai sumber daya mendasar bagi kemampuan individu untuk membuat perencanaan pensiun. Dalam survei yang dilakukan terhadap karyawan dan profesional di Indonesia. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan PLS-SEM. Bukti empiris menunjukkan bahwa berbagi pengetahuan justru melemahkan pengaruh antara pendidikan keuangan keluarga terhadap perencanaan pensiun. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa berbagi pengetahuan tidak bisa menguatkan pendidikan keluarga untuk membuat perencanaan pensiun yang lebih baik. Dalam penelitian ini juga diungkapkan adanya kemungkinan bahwa berbagi pengetahuan dapat membuat perubahan pada perencanaan pensiun karyawan menjadi rencana keuangan lainnya yang bermanfaat juga bagi masa pensiun, dimungkinkan untuk membuat perubahan dalam perencanaan pensiun menjadi bentuk lain dari perencanaan keuangan.Kata kunci: Perencanaan pensiun; theory planned behavior; knowledge-based view; berbagi pengetahuan; perencanaan keuanga

    Strategic Design to Increase MSME Intentions in Exporting with Standards for Global Market Needs

    Abstract. The contribution of Indonesia\u27s exports, with the number of business entities dominating at 99.99%, is relatively low at 14.37%. Meanwhile, large business entities achieved an export contribution for Indonesia of 85.63%. Indonesia was predicted to emerge from the middle-income trap phenomenon in 2036, implying that Indonesia will become a high-income country with the fourth-largest GDP in the world. This demonstrates that Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have enormous potential and opportunities to expand international trade. The many factors hindering MSMEs from exporting and high export standards were among the critical factors for the low intention of MSMEs in exporting and choosing to focus on domestic selling. This study used the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) methods to find out the main factors that cause low intentions on the awareness of MSME business actors in exporting by reducing data on the PCA method to perceived barrier and enabler factors. The ISM method helped produce policy formulation and strategic planning by analyzing the influence of the relationship between factors. 13 main barriers and six main enabler factors were obtained; from them, the action plan was designed through appropriate strategic planning, ordered by the priority of barrier factors and enablers, which are known from the partition level in the ISM model based on the results of discussion agreements with experts. Keywords: Export; export barriers; export enablers, msmes, Indonesian mses, principal component analysis (PCA); interpretive structural modeling (ISM) Abstrak. Kontribusi ekspor Indonesia dengan jumlah entitas bisnis yang mendominasi sebesar 99,99% ternyata kontribusi terhadap ekspor masih cukup rendah dengan persentase 14,37%. Sedangkan entitas bisnis usaha besar mampu mencapai kontribusi ekspor untuk Indonesia sebesar 85,63%. Diprediksi Indonesia akan keluar dari fenomena middle income trap ditahun 2036, maksud dari prediksi tersebut adalah Indonesia akan menjadi negara berpendapatan tinggi dengan nilai PDB terbesar ke-4 di dunia. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki potensi atau peluang yang sangat besar untuk memperluas perdagangan internasional. Banyaknya faktor yang menghambat para pelaku UMKM dalam melakukan ekspor serta adanya standar ekspor yang tinggi merupakan salah satu faktor kunci rendahnya intensi UMKM dalam melakukan kegiatan ekspor dan memilih untuk melakukan penjualan secara domestik. Penelitian akan menggunakan metode Principal Component Analyisis (PCA) dan Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) untuk mengetahui faktor utama yang menyebabkan rendahnya intensi atas kesadaran pelaku usaha UMKM dalam melakukan ekspor dengan cara reduksi data pada metode PCA terhadap faktor barrier dan enabler yang dirasakan dan metode ISM membantu menghasilkan rumusan kebijakan dan perencanaan strategis dengan menganalisis pengaruh hubungan antar faktor. Diperoleh 13 faktor barriers utama dan 6 faktor enabler utama, dari faktor utama yang diperoleh tersebut action plan atau solusi dirancang melalui perencanaan strategis yang tepat berdasarkan urutan prioritas faktor barrier dan enabler yang diketahui dari level partisi pada model ISM berdasarkan hasil kesepakatan diskusi dengan para pakar.Kata Kunci: Ekspor ; barrier ekspor ; enabler ekspor, UMKM, UMK Indonesia, principal component analyisis (PCA) ; interpretive structural modelling (ISM

    Promotion Of Town Development Through Human Flow Simulation At Sports-Related Facilities

    Abstract. In recent years, crowd congestion around large-scale sports facilities has emerged as a significant issue in urban safety and event management. This study evaluates the design and surrounding infrastructure of a planned new sports facility by simulating pedestrian flow using the Social Force Model and the S4 Simulation System. The facility, accommodating 15,000 people and located about 400 meters from the nearest train station, is expected to generate high post-event pedestrian volume. Nine simulation scenarios were tested by varying destination ratios and walking speeds based on age distribution. Results revealed that although average travel times remained similar across scenarios, significant differences in modal times and congestion points emerged depending on the agent distribution and routing assumptions. Key stagnation areas included the deck entrance and branching points within the facility. The study confirmed that while the basic design met safety requirements, inefficiencies in pedestrian flow—due to limited infrastructure and overly narrow walkways—hindered rapid dispersal. Based on the findings, the study recommends modifications to the infrastructure plan and plans for enhanced crowd guidance. The research findings underscore the importance of incorporating flow-based simulations into facility planning, contributing not only to visitor safety and satisfaction but also to data-driven urban development around large event venues.     Travel Agency Companies Under Environmental Uncertainty: Multiple Strategic Orientation and Performance

    Abstract. The tourism sector, the economy, and the industries that support it have all been severely damaged by the worldwide pandemic. Several of the tourism industry\u27s market segments, such as lodging, dining, and travel agencies, are at saturation. To maintain a sustainable competitive advantage and achieve the intended results, companies need to have a well-defined plan of action to navigate the constantly shifting business landscape. This study will examine the mediating role of organizational strategic orientation in the performance of travel agency companies in the face of environmental uncertainty. The data is collected via a questionnaire and then PLS-SEM analysis is performed. The results show that the choice of an organization\u27s strategic orientation, which includes market and entrepreneurial orientations that can impact learning orientation and organizational performance of travel agency companies, is influenced by technology uncertainty. As a component of a vibrant and alluring travel industry, travel agency businesses must be flexible and inventive in the face of ongoing technological advancements. This can be achieved through organizational strategy orientation, which emphasizes market and entrepreneurial orientations to boost the performance of travel agency businesses.     Does Pricing Strategy Increase the Competitive Advantage of Companies Implementing an ABC System?

    Abstract. This study aims to investigate the extent to which pricing strategy creates an effective competitive advantage for companies implementing an activity-based costing (ABC) system in their production activities. The research data were obtained through a questionnaire-based survey of several manufacturing companies in Indonesia that implement ABC systems. This research used the Structural Equation Model with Partial Least Square statistical method. The results of this research indicate that those companies who apply an ABC system are capable of making their pricing strategy more effective and increasing their competitive advantage. The empirical results show that price competition is unavoidable among manufacturing industries. However, implementing an ABC system can increase manufacturing companies\u27 competitive advantage. Thus, the implementation of an ABC System employs pricing strategy as a determinant factor of competitive advantage. This research supports the results of previous studies that also concluded that there is a strong relationship between ABC systems and competitive advantage. In addition, this research found that pricing strategy can improve competitive advantage with implementation of an ABC System.Keywords: Activity-based costing system; competitive advantage; pricing strategy Abstrak. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan menggunakan survei berbasis kuesioner dari perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia yang menerapkan Sistem Activity Based Costing. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan metode statistic Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan yang menerapkan Sistem Activity Based Costing terbukti mampu membuat Strategi Penetapan Harga perusahaan lebih efektif dan sekaligus berdampak pada peningkatan Keunggulan Bersaing. Hasil empiris menunjukkan bahwa persaingan harga tidak dapat dihindari dalam industri manufaktur. Tetapi, dengan menerapkan Sistem Activity Based Costing, perusahaan manufaktur mampu meningkatkan Keunggulan Bersaing. Sehingga, kehadiran Sistem Activity Based Costing menjadi Strategi Penetapan Harga sebagai penentu Keunggulan Bersaing. Penelitian ini memperkuat hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang juga menyimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang kuat antara Sistem Activity Based Costing dan Keunggulan Bersaing.     Relationship of Benefits/Sacrifices Ratio with Repurchase Intention Mediated by Consumer Satisfaction

    Abstract. Advances in technology have brought significant changes to the economic world, notably through online platforms that have made consumers more cautious when purchasing cosmetics products. When selecting products, consumers weigh perceived benefits against sacrifices. The benefits/sacrifices ratio is presumed to influence customer satisfaction and subsequently lead to a repurchase intention. This quantitative study tests these relationships using the cosmetics market as the empirical context. It involved 113 respondents who were purchasing cosmetic products for the first time (purposive sampling). The data analysis results indicate that the benefits/sacrifices ratio significantly and positively affects repurchase intention and customer satisfaction. Moreover, customer satisfaction also significantly influences repurchase intention. Furthermore, the results support customer satisfaction as a mediator between the benefits/sacrifices ratio and repurchase intention. This scholarly work offers an in-depth examination of the emerging challenges and opportunities that both employers and employees must consider to effectively adapt and thrive in the ever-evolving world. Purposeng was used to recruit interview and focus group participants based on their professional expertise and diverse demographic backgrounds. Stratified random sampling was also applied to ensure a balanced demographic representation. Content categorization was conducted on interview and focus group transcripts to identify recurring themes, patterns, and key insights. The findings confirm that the current work landscape is undergoing a dynamic transformation, particularly with the increased adoption of remote and hybrid work models. This shift is compelling organizations to reassess the design of physical workspaces, management systems, and internal communication structures. The rapid advancement of technology further necessitates a culture of continuous learning and adaptive thinking. Moreover, the integration of digital tools, automation, and data-driven decision-making is reshaping organizational cultures and structures to become more flexible and sustainability-oriented, reflecting the value shifts of the current and incoming workforce.     The Influence of Work Motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behavior on Employee Performance in The Rural Bank (BPR) in Bali, Indonesia

    Abstract. The aims of this study is to examine the antecedents of rural bank (BPR) employees\u27 performance in Bali province, Indonesia. Data collected through the use of the questionnaire. Research respondents were 65 people from all BPR Operational Section Heads who used it as a saturated sample. The SEM PLS analysis was performed to investigate the variables of employees motivation, organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB), and employee productivity. The result of the analysis showed that all hypotheses tested were significantly positively related. Through this study, it can conclude that employee performance in the banking sector supported by work motivation and OCB. These indicate the performance of BPR employees. It is necessary to strengthen the variable of work motivation and the OCB itself. Mediation study revealed that the OCB variable mediated the influence of job motivation on employee performance in a positive and significant manner. These suggest that while motivation for working and OCB grows, employee productivity in BPRs in Badung Regency and the city of Denpasar, Bali correspondingly increases.     The Effect of Service Recovery on Customer Satisfaction, eWOM, and Repurchase Intention in the Online Travel Agent (OTA) Industry in Indonesia with Service Failure Severity as Moderator

    Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of service recovery on service failure severity, customer satisfaction, eWOM, and repurchase intention. This study adopts an online survey method by distributing 196 online questionnaires to Indonesian OTA users who experienced service failures within the past year. The proposed study model undergoes examination using a partial least square-structural equation model (PLS-SEM). The result reveals that service recovery variables positively and significantly affected customer satisfaction, eWOM, and repurchase intention, however, the severity of the service failure did not significantly impact the relationship between service recovery and customer satisfaction. This study aims to provide valuable insight that enables OTA industry practitioners in Indonesia to develop more effective service recovery strategies. It contributes to developing justice theory and the service failure severity factor as moderators of service failures in the Indonesian OTA industry and their effect on customer satisfaction, eWOM, and repurchase intention. Pengujian dilakukan atas model penelitian yang diusulkan menggunakan partial least square - structural equation model (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel service recovery mempengaruhi customer satisfaction, eWOM, dan juga repurchase intention secara positif dan signifikan, namun variabel service failure severity tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam memoderasi pengaruh dari service recovery terhadap customer satisfaction. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi manajemen industri OTA di Indonesia dalam merancang strategi service recovery yang efektif.     The Influence of Transformational Leadership on Construction Services Business Performance Through TQM and Digital Capabilities in the Post-Covid-19 Era

    Abstract. The construction industry is one of the many global businesses that have felt the serious impact during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research on the construction services industry in the post-covid-19 era aims to: 1). Analyzing the influence of transformational leadership on company performance. 2) Analyze the influence of transformational leadership on digital capabilities. 3) Analyze the influence of transformational leadership on TQM. 4) Analyzing the influence of digital capabilities on performance, and 5) Analyzing the influence of TQM on performance. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research respondents were 100 leaders of construction service companies in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Data was collected through a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis was carried out using Structual Equation Model (SEM) With Partial Least Square (PLS). This research was carried out with a series of test scenarios, namely 1). digital capability as a mediator variable without TQM; 2). TQM as a mediator variable without digital capabilities; and 3). Digital capabilities together with TQM become a mediator between transformational leadership and performance. The research results show that without implementing TQM, digital capabilities mediate the relationship between transformational performance. Without digital capabilities, TQM completely mediates the influence of transformational leadership on performance. If digital capabilities and TQM are used as mediation simultaneously, TQM becomes a complete mediating variable in the relationship between transformational leadership and the performance of construction service companies in the post-Covid-19 era. This research opens up opportunities and recommends the emergence of research that integrates TQM-Digital. Keywords: Transformational leadership, digital capabilities, TQM and Performance. Abstrak. Industri konstruksi merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak bisnis global yang merasakan dampak serius selama pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian pada industry jasa konstruksi dimasa post-covid-19 ini bertujuan untuk: 1). Menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja perusahaan. 2) Menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kapabilitas digital. 3) Menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap TQM. 4) Menganalisis pengaruh kapabilitas digital terhadap kinerja, dan 5) Menganalisis pengaruh TQM terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Responden penelitian adalah 100 orang pimpinan perusahaan jasa konstruksi di Jakarta, ibu kota Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Structual Equation Model (SEM) With Partial Least Square (PLS). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan serangkaian skenario uji, yakni 1). kapabilitas digital sebagai variabel mediator tanpa TQM; 2). TQM sebagai variabel mediator tanpa Kapabilitas digital; dan 3). Kapabilitas digital secara bersama-sama dengan TQM menjadi mediator antara kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanpa penerapan TQM, kapabilitas digital memediasi hubungan antara transformasional terhadap kinerja. Tanpa kapabilitas digital, TQM memediasi secara penuh pengaruh antara kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja. Jika kapabilitas digital dan TQM dijadikan sebagai mediasi secara bersamaan maka TQM menjadi variabel mediasi secara penuh hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional leadership terhadap kinerja perusahaan jasa konstruksi dimasa post-Covid-19. Penelitian ini membuka peluang sekaligus merekomendasikan bagi munculnya penelitian yang mengintegrasikan TQM-Digital. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan transformasional, kapabilitas digital, TQM dan kinerja
