Effect of Caudal fin Structure on Swimming Ability of Bluefin Tuna
Get PDFWe have investigated the swimming behavior of tuna and dolphins, which is called carangiform swimming, especially the relationship between the caudal fin angle control waveform and propulsive ability. In this report, we fabricated an artificial flexible caudal fin that mimics the structure of tuna caudal fins. Evaluating the Effectiveness of Motivational Strategies in Foreign Language Education: Synthesis of Domestic and International Research Findings
Get PDF本研究はシステマティックレビューの手法を用いて，外国語教育分野でのmotivational strategiesの有効性を評価した研究の動向の概観とその研究成果を統合する試みを行った。SSCIとCiNiiのデータベースおよびハンドサーチによる先行研究の文献リストを対象に，システマティックレビューの手法を用いて2段階での文献抽出を行い，3つの特性による分析プロトコルを用いて検討を行った。その結果，motivational strategiesの有効性を評価した研究は「調査研究」が大半を占め，アジア圏の学習者を対象にした研究が多かった。またDörnyei（2001）の35個のmotivational strategiesの内，教員の熱意，クラスの雰囲気作り，生徒との信頼関係の構築などの教員の指導態度に関連したmotivational strategiesが動機づけを高めるのに有効であると多くの研究で示された。特に集団に焦点を当てたmotivational strategiesと統合的動機づけに基づくmotivational strategiesがアジアの学習者に有効である一方で，非アジアの学習者には「自信」や「価値」，「自律性」などの学習者個人に焦点を当てたmotivational strategiesや道具的動機づけ，あるいは内発的動機づけに基づくmotivational strategiesが有効であることが明らかになった。departmental bulletin pape
