Get PDFIn these days, there is a growing awareness of the importance of preserving and maintaining the traditional streetscape. In addition, there is a movement to utilize not only the buildings and surrounding environment but also the lifestyles of the inhabitants. Gujo Hachiman is a successful case of pioneering community development that carries on water culture without using the cultural property system. The purpose of this study is to create a useful resource for future community development by examining the waterway network, water systems and water facilities, and community development. Gujo Hachiman has inherited a townscape that makes the most of its topography, climate, and nature. It was found that this has helped inhabitants develop a sense of pride in their community and a sense of self-preservation. This awareness has led to the active participation of inhabitants in community development, which has formed the "Water City" to the present day. On the other hand, the future challenge will be to pass on water culture due to the aging of the population.departmental bulletin pape
Seikatsu-Tsuzurikata in the Hokuriku Region's Three Prefectures (Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui) during the 1930s: A Descriptive Study
Get PDF生活綴方は1930年代に隆盛した日本固有の教育方法である。また、生活綴方は、①作品に地域の生活が反映されている点、②地域に根ざして独自に展開している点において、地域教育史の解明に欠くことのできない研究対象である。しかし、1930年代の北陸三県――富山県・石川県・福井県――における生活綴方の解明は遅々としている。まずは、1930年代の北陸三県において生活綴方に関心を寄せていたであろう教師の同定をおこなう必要がある。本調査報告では、生活綴方に関連する雑誌と関わった教師を整理した。その結果、理論的論考を寄稿した教師として、富山県の飯原丈頃、社浦与三郎、石川県の米田政策、福井県の岡島繫、らが存在していた。また、継続的に文集寄贈をした教師として、富山県の館川数夫、田中のぶ子、寺島久雄、石川県の柴木三郎、寺西正雄、福井県の刀禰勇治、らが存在していた。Seikatsu-tsuzurikata, a distinctive educational method that originated in Japan, experienced its heyday in the 1930s. It is an essential research topic for unraveling the history of regional education because this method is characterized by (1) the portrayal of regional life in written works and (2) its unique evolution deeply rooted in local communities. Nevertheless, the research on seikatsu-tsuzurikata in the three prefectures of the Hokuriku region, Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui, during the 1930s has been progressing at a sluggish pace. First, it is imperative to identify the educators who may have displayed an interest in seikatsu-tsuzurikata within the three prefectures. We compiled a list of the educators who appeared in magazines related to seikatsu-tsuzurikata. Our investigation revealed that educators such as Jogoro Iihara and Yosaburo Shaura from Toyama Prefecture, Yoneda Seisaku from Ishikawa Prefecture, and Shigeru Okajima from Fukui Prefecture contributed theoretical articles to these magazines. Furthermore, educators such as Kazuo Tachikawa, Nobuko Tanaka, and Hisao Terashima from Toyama Prefecture, Saburo Shibaki and Masao Teranishi from Ishikawa Prefecture, and Yuji Tone from Fukui Prefecture consistently contributed collections of compositions.departmental bulletin pape

Lost 30 Years: Perspective from Toyota and Panasonic
Get PDF[要旨]「失われた30年」という表現は，過去約30年間で日本経済の活力が失われた現実を指すものとして，多くの日本人に時に自嘲を伴いながらも大きな抵抗はなく定着してしまった。このことについて，多くの研究者や識者が様々な観点から論を展開しており，本稿前半では筆者はそれらを比較して考察する。その上で，それらの論が経営，経済，社会，文化などで日本全体に帰結して一般化される傾向があることを指摘し，経済とは最終的にはすべての企業の集合体であるとの考えに立ち，日本を代表する企業であるトヨタ自動車とパナソニックのケーススタディを行い，比較論を展開する。[Abstract] The expression “the Lost 30 Years” has become established, sometimes with self-mockery but without much resistance, among many Japanese people as referring to the reality of the loss of vitality in the Japanese economy over the past approximately 30 years. Many researchers and intellectuals have argued about this from various perspectives. In the first half of this paper, the author compares and discusses them. He then points out that those arguments tend to be attributed and generalized to Japan as a whole in terms of management, economy, society, culture, etc. Based on the idea that the economy is ultimately an aggregate of all companies and that specific companies should be focused on, he develops a comparative argument by conducting case studies of Toyota Motor Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Toyota”) and Panasonic Holdings Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Panasonic”), two representative Japanese companies.departmental bulletin pape
The staggered magnetic susceptbility by anisotropically antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations in nearly antiferromagnetic metals
Get PDFThis paper studied the self-consistent renormalization theory of anisotropically antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations in nearly antiferromagnetic metals. It seems to us that the the effects on anisotropically antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations were unanswered in nearly antiferromagnetic metals. This paper showed the temperature dependence of the inverse of the staggered magnetic susceptibility and of the nuclear magnetic relaxation rate by anisotropically antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations in nearly antiferromagnetic metals. The inverse of the staggered magnetic susceptibility has T2-linear dependence at low temperatures. In elevated temperatures, it has T-linear dependence. The staggered magnetic susceptibility has the anisotropy. The nuclear magnetic relaxation rate has T-linaer dependence at low temperatures. It has T1/2 linear dependence in elevated temperatures.
