Implementation and Evaluation of Career Design Support Using Conversational Generative AI
Get PDFThis study examines career support methods utilizing strength scales (CliftonStrengths) and conversational generative AI to enhance university students' self-awareness and career design. Through seminar activities, students leveraged their strengths and explored career options while using conversational generative AI (ChatGPT) for self-analysis and career-related feedback. Survey results suggested that AI-assisted guidance contributed to improved self-awareness, facilitated the practical application of strengths, and supported career decision-making. However, challenges such as overreliance on AI-generated information and difficulties in transitioning from "utilizing" strengths to "developing" them were also identified.
