An Annotated Translation of Huixiang's Hongzanfahuazhuan juan 2 Fanyi (the second half)
This paper is an annotated translation of Hongzanfahuazhuan juan 2 Fanyi. Hongzanfahuanzhuan was written by the Buddhist monk Huixiang, who lived around the Early Tang dynasty. This annotated translation is based on a manuscript owned by the Todaiji Library in Nara. Taisho-zo was also based on that but contains typographical errors. For that reason, this paper reprinted the handwritten manuscript again, then proofread, translated into Japanese, and provided notes about related matters.Translationdepartmental bulletin pape
Development of differentiation inducers for undifferentiated P19CL6 cells using various peptide sequences
論文The purpose of this study is to develop differentiation inducers using peptides. Stem cells have been used in regenerative medicine. In particular, Somatic stem cell can avoid ethical issues and rejection reactions, but concerns such as low differentiation efficiency arise. In order to resolve this issue, we are attempting to induce differentiation through the addition of peptides using mouse P19CL6 cells as model cells. These P19CL6 cells are a type of embryonal carcinoma cells, and by adding DMSO, they differentiate into cardiomyocytes and acquire autonomous beating. In this experiment, we are examining peptides as differentiation inducers as an alternative to the organic solvent DMSO, which are also being focused on as materials for medium-sized molecular drug discovery. Autonomous beating was observed with two types of peptides.departmental bulletin pape
On FPGA Design Methods for Side-channel Countermeasure with DCM-derived Noise
論文A type of side-channel attack known as power analysis attack estimates the input values for computations from the power consumption waveforms of a computer system. This side-channel, with minimal noise in the analysis process, constitutes a potent attack. In our preliminary evaluations, it has been found to require only few minutes of analysis time to identify the secret key of vulnerable AES implementation. On the one hand, hardware-based power analysis attack countermeasures are effective; however, they demand significant implementation overhead. Particularly, the notable increase in implementation area is challenging to apply in circuit designs of actual products. In this paper, we propose a low-area overhead power attack countermeasure by leveraging existing hard macros when implementing AES as one hardware component of an SoC on FPGAs.departmental bulletin pape
