A Study on the Flow of Business Management Theory in Anglophone Business Schools
【本旨】本稿では, 英語圏のビジネス・スクールで教育されている, 組織研究がどのような歴史を有するのかについて, 概観する。ここでは, 代表的な系譜の1つとして, バーナード・サイモン理論を中心にして検討するが, 日本語の翻訳本が出版されていることと, 現在でも用語が経営(企業)の行動を検討するために用いられていることを検討する著作の重要な条件とした。このため, 20世紀の開始から21世紀の開始に活躍した, ヴェブレンから始めて, シェルドン, バーリー・ミーンズ, バーナード, サイモン, マーチとスコットの著作を取りあげた。検討の結果として, 彼らの主張は, 行動科学と社会科学(behavioral and social sciences)に基づく, 組織研究(organization study), (企業行動論(the theory of business behavior))の展開とみなせることを指摘した。This paper provides an overview of the history of the organizations studis in Anglophone business schools. Here, we will focus on Bernard-Simon's theory as one of the representative genealogies, but it is an essential condition for the works to consider that a Japanese translation has been published and that the term is still used to examine the behavior of management (companies). For this reason, I have taken up the writings of Veblen, Sheldon, Berle・Means, Bernard, Simon, March and Scott, who active from the beginning of the twentieth century to the beginning of the twenty-first century. Development of an automatic traverse device and measurement of velocity fields in a wind tunnel
Wind tunnel experiments are widely used as a basic method for measuring the flow field around an object. Our college also constructed a visualization wind tunnel for the purpose of measuring the flow field around “solar car”. However, the spatial and temporal change characteristics of the flow field in the constructed wind tunnel have not been fully clarified. In addition, the velocity distribution obtained in previous studies was two-dimensional, and the three-dimensional velocity distribution is still unknown. Therefore, to develop a traverse device capable of automatically measuring 3D distribution of streamwise velocity in our wind tunnel. To evaluate the usefulness of this traverse device as a starting point of this study, the 2D velocity distribution was measured in the wind tunnel. As a result of the experiment, A three-axis automatic traverse device was created by combining commercially available single-axis traverse devices and Arduino devices. Reducing glass formation difficulty by streamlining the press-quenching process
The press-quenching method is widely utilized for the preparation of glass samples on a laboratory scale. This method is simple, but glass formation of compositions with low glass-forming ability requires significant operator skill. It has been reported that the stoichiometric composition of the bismuth-based high-temperature superconductor Bi₂Sr₂CaCu₂Oₓ can form glass. However, due to the absence of typical glass-forming materials in its composition, proficient press-quenching techniques are required. In this study, we reevaluated the press-quenching process and developed a jig that enables glass formation in difficult compositions without requiring advanced technical skills. During the quenching process, melt is poured onto a horizontal metal plate and pressed with another metal plate. In our experiments, we streamlined this process into a single step. Two methods were tested: using twin rollers and sandwiching the melt between two stainless steel plates arranged in a V-shaped configuration. X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that glass formation was achievable with both methods. Study on law conformity investigation for utilization of the existing building
The inflection such as existing buildings is one of the important means to solve an environmental problem, a pocketbook issue, a social problem. When we do a renovation, the compatibility of the current rule is pursued in principle in the existing building, and we become the wall of effectively utilizing it of the existing building. In this report, arranged it about the change, jurisprudence of the Building Standard Act, the relaxation of the limit of the existing building to examine the inflection promotion of the existing building.
