    A Study about the History of Research on Organizations since 1999 by J.March

    【本旨】本稿では, 2008年に出版された, マーチの論文集『組織での探索』(Explorations in Organizations)に収録された, 3つの論文を翻訳しながら, 検討した。第1の論文「組織研究:過去への期待と将来からの教訓」(1999)では, 組織に関する調査研究のより良い将来の歴史は, 進歩の洞察力に一致した, 方途で, 現在が過去に結び付けられるならば, 可能になると主張される。第2の論文「北アメリカの英語圏での1945-2000年での組織研究の研究団体の展開についての覚え書き」(2005)では, 第二次世界大戦以降, 組織研究のフィールドは, ビジネス・スクールでアカデミックな基地(home)を固めてきたが, 主に, 北アメリカの英語圏(anglophone)での20世紀の後半で創造された, 非常に短い, 偏狭な歴史の創造であることが確認された。第3の論文「1945年以降の組織と組織化の研究」(2007)では, (1) 第二次世界大戦, (2) 1960年代の後期から1970年代の初期の社会と政治上の抗議運動(protest movement)と, (3) ソビエト連邦(Soviet Empire)の崩壊と市場の勝利感(triumph)が大きな影響を及ぼした。なお, マーチが70歳代になった, 2000年代から, 北アメリカの英語圏での, 組織論の優勢は陰りを見せ始めた。This paper examines, in translation, three papers from March's collection of articles, "Explorations in Organizations", published in 2008. In the first article, "Research on Organizations, Hopes for the Past and Lessons from the Future"(1999), it is argued that a better future history of research on organizations is made possible, if the present is connected to the past in ways that is consistent with a vision of progress. In the second article, "The Notes on the Evolution of a Research Community Organization Studies in Anglophone North America, 1945-2000"(2005), it is argued that the field of organizations studies has solidified an academic home in business schools, since the Second World War, but is primarily a creation of a shorter and more parochial history created in last half of the twentieth century in Anglophone North America. In the third article, "The Study of Organizations and Organizing since 1945"(2007), it examined that the significant features of the history of research on organizations associated with (1) The Second World War, (2) the social and political protest movements of the late 1960s and early 1970s and (3) the collapse of the Soviet Empire and the triumph of markets.     Partial zona dissection improves in vitro fertilization of oocytes matured in serum-free medium.

    マウス未成熟卵子の体外成熟に用いる培地には、脂質などの供給源として血清が添加されている。しかし、血清のロット差や組成の不明確さが実験の再現性の点において問題となる。一方で、無血清培地で成熟させた卵子は透明帯硬化により精子侵入を妨げられ、その結果体外受精率が低下する。本実験では、無血清のTYH-TaM試験区、 TaM試験区で成熟させた卵子に透明帯部分切開処理を施すことによる体外受精への影響を調べた。各試験区で成熟させた卵子を体外受精に供試した結果、TYH-TaM試験区、TaM試験区、血清を含むmTaM試験区の受精率はそれぞれ4%(4/91)、26%(24/91)、61%(59/97)であり、mTaM試験区と比較して無血清のTYH-TaM試験区とTaM試験区では受精率が有意に低下した(P<0.01)。そこで、透明帯部分切開処理を施した体外成熟卵子を体外受精に供試した結果、TYH-TaM試験区、TaM試験区、mTaM試験区の受精率はそれぞれ48%(31/64)、50%(32/64)、68%(45/66)であり、TYH-TaM試験区およびTaM試験区において体外受精率が大幅に改善された(P<0.01)。これらのことから、透明帯部分切開処理により、無血清培地で成熟させた卵子の受精能を改善することが示唆された。Serum is added to the maturation medium used in in vitro mouse maturation as a source of lipids. Differences in serum lots and unclear components affect the developmental outcome. However, it is known that in serum-free medium prevents sperm penetration due to the hardening of the zona pellucida, resulting in a decrease in the in vitro fertilization rate. In this experiment, we investigated the effect of partial zona dissection of oocytes after in vitro maturation on in vitro fertilization. In vitro maturation was performed using serum-free TYH-TaM and TaM media. Oocytes matured in each media were subjected to in vitro fertilization. The fertilization rates in the TYH-TaM, TaM, and serum-containing mTaM groups were 4% (4/91), 26% (24/91), and 61% (59/97), respectively, and were significantly lower in the serum-free TYH-TaM and TaM groups compared to the mTaM group (P<0.01). Next, in vitro matured oocytes were subjected to partial zona dissection of oocytes and then subjected to in vitro fertilization. The fertilization rates in the TYH-TaM, TaM, and mTaM groups were 48% (31/64), 50% (32/64), and 68% (45/66), respectively, indicating that the in vitro fertilization rates in the TYH-TaM and TaM test groups were significantly improved compared to before partial zona dissection of oocytes(P<0.01).     Preliminary Study on a 3D Electroporation System

    Precise control of electric field distribution in electroporation systems is crucial for targeted gene transfection in three-dimensional (3D) space. However, conventional systems with two electrodes generate highly localized electric fields, leading to non-uniform transfection efficiency. This study proposes a novel electroporation system with a 3D electrode arrangement designed to achieve a broader and more controlled electric field distribution. The system employs a cuvette chamber with electrodes positioned on four sides of a square, and the electric field distribution was analyzed using the Finite Difference Method based on Laplace’s equation. Simulation results demonstrated that this electrode configuration significantly expands the effective electroporation area compared to conventional setups. A prototype cuvette chamber was fabricated, and electroporation experiments using FITC-dextran confirmed successful cell membrane poration. Despite the expanded electric field distribution in the three-quarter electrode condition, the number of FITC-positive cells remained comparable to the one-quarter condition, suggesting that additional factors influence transfection efficiency. These findings highlight the potential of the proposed electrode arrangement for improving electroporation uniformity, which may contribute to advancements in gene delivery and tissue engineering applications.departmental bulletin pape

    Analysis of Occurring Factor on the Theft Crime using Person Trip Point Data

    The reported criminal law offence number was 703,351 cases in 2023, this is an increase from number of cases in 2022. The number of reported criminal law offence and theft crime tends to decrease in recent years. However, theft crime rate against reported criminal law offence is very high. Therefore, it is vitally important to reduce theft crime, we have to take more efficient measures to theft crime. In order to decrease the theft crime, we grasp a spatial situation on the theft crime point in detail. In this study, in order for grasp of the factor that has influenced to theft crime, we estimate to spatiotemporal condition of theft crime point with GIS (Geographic Information System). In addition, we reveal that person trip influences occurrence of bicycle theft crime using Geographically Weighted Regression.departmental bulletin pape
