    The Magnetic Technology in Drinking Water of Laying Hens

    The experiment was conducted to know the best level of magnetic technology for improving water quality and to compare the use of magnetic technology (MT) and non-magnetic technology (NMT) in drinking water of the laying hens. This study had 2 experiment steps. The first step studied 3 levels (1350 Gs, 2700 Gs, 5400 Gs) of magnetic technology. The results showed that MT had a significant effect (p0.05) on biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and pH of drinking water. 2700 Gs used in the second step was the best result to improve water quality. Magnetic technology was used to treat drinking water of 288 ISA Brown birds aged 57-week assigned to 2 treatments (NMT and MT). MT showed no significant effect (p>0.05) on hen day production (HDP) but improved (p<0.05) the feed conversion ratio (FCR) of laying hens.Keywords: laying hens, magnet, production, water qualit

    Korelasi Fenotipik Sifat Kuantitatif Itik Magelang di Kabupaten Magelang

    Itik adalah unggas air yang masuk dalam kelas Aves dan menjadi salah satu unggas yang masuk dalam kategori unggas dwiguna yaitu hewan yang menghasilkan telur dan daging. Jenis itik yang banyak dibudidayakan di dusun Sempu, desa Ngadirojo, kecamatan Secang, kabupaten Magelang adalah jenis Itik Magelang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui korelasi fenotip dari sifat-sifat kuantitatif Itik Magelang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dusun Sempu, Desa Ngadirojo, Kecamatan Secang, Kabupaten Magelang. Total sampel untuk pengamatan sifat kuantitatif adalah 100 ekor itik Magelang yang dipelihara secara semi intensif. Sample yang diambil adalah Itik Magelang yang sudah memasuki fase produksi. Hasil yang didapat dari data tersebut dianalis menggunakan IBM SPSS 23 dengan sistem partial correlations. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap beberapa peternak di dusun Sempu menunjukkan jika nilai korelasi antara BB dengan PB dan LD, PB dengan LD menunjukkan hasil yang sangat signifikan (p<0,01) sedangkan korelasi antara PB dengan ST menunjukkan signifikan (p<0,05). Pertambahan bobot badan Itik Magelang sangat berpengaruh juga terhadap panjang badan dan lingkar dada. Semakin bertambahnya bobot badan maka postur tubuh juga akan semakin besar pengaruhnya terhadap bertambahnya panjang badan dan lingkar dada.Kata kunci: fenotipik, itik magelang, korelasi, sifat kuantitatifQuantitative Phenotypic Correlation of Magelang Ducks in Magelang RegencyABSTRACTDucks are waterfowl that belong to the aves class and become one of the poultry which is included in the category of dual-purpose poultry, animals that produce eggs and meat. The type of ducks that are widely cultivated in Sempu Hamlet, Ngadirojo Village, Secang Subdistrict, Magelang Regency was the Magelang duck type. The purpose of this study was to know the phenotypic correlation of the quantitative traits of the duck. This research was conducted in Sempu Hamlet, Ngadirojo Village, Secang subdistrict, Magelang regency. The Total sample for quantitative trait observation was 100 of Magelang's semi-intensive preserved duck-tails. The Sample was the ducks in Magelang that have entered the production phase. The results obtained from the data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 23 with partial correlations. The results of research conducted against several breeders in Sempu Hamlet indicated that if the correlation between BB and PB and LD, PB with LD showed very significant results (p< 0.01) While the correlation between PB and ST showed significant (p< 0.05). The weight gain of Magelang's Duck was also highly affected body length and heart girth.     Potensi Nilai Nutrisi dan Indeks Sinkronisasi Protein-Energi Berbagai Jenis Ramban Bagi Ternak Perah

    AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk menginventarisir nilai nutrisi indeks sinkronisasi protein-energi (SPE) berbagai jenis rambanan. Penelitian in vitro dilaksanakan dengan materi 5 jenis rambanan (kelor, nangka, singkong, pisang, dan kersen) dan cairan rumen Kambing Jawa Randu. Nilai nutrisi rambanan didapatkan melalui analisis proksimat. Indeks SPE dihitung berdasarkan rataan degradasi g protein dan Kg bahan organik (BO) per jam pada waktu pengamatan jam ke 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, dan 72. Data degradasi tiap waktu diregresi untuk mendapatkan persamaan dan selanjutnya didapatkan rataan degradasi per jam. Hasil perhitungan degradasi dimasukan dalam rumus indeks SPE dan hasilnya dibahas secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima jenis rambanan memiliki nilai nutrisi yang beragam. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan persamaan yang berbeda, dengan koefisien determinasi diatas 80% kecuali pada ramban pisang. Indeks sinkronisasi yang didapat yaitu kelor (0,4), nangka (0,69), singkong (0,55), pisang (0,35), dan kersen (0,47). Disimpulkan bahwa nilai nutrisi seluruh rambanan sangat potensial sebagai sumber serat dan protein bagi ternak dengan indeks sinkronisasi masing-masing secara berurut yaitu 0,46; 0,69; 0,55; 0,35; dan 0,47.Kata kunci: nilai nutrisi, indeks sinkronisasi protein-energi, rambanan, ternak perah The Potency of Nutrient Value and Protein-Energy Synchronization Index in Various Types of Browse for Dairy Livestock                                                                 AbstrACT               The study was aimed to inventory the nutrition value and the protein-energy synchronization (PES) index of various types of foliages. In vitro research was carried out with material 5 types of foliages (Moringa oleifera, Artocarpus integra, Manihot utilissima, Musa pudica, and Mungtingia calabura) and rumen liquid of Jawa Randu Goat. Nutritional value was obtained through proximate analysis. The PES index is calculated based on the average degradation of g protein and Kg of organic matter (OM) per hour at 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, and 72 hours of degradation. The data of degradation are calculated in the PES index formula and the results are discussed descriptively. The results of the study showed that the five types of foliages had various nutritional values. The results of the regression analysis showed a different equation, with a coefficient of determination above 80% except for Musa pudica. The PES index obtained is Moringa oleifera (0.4), Artocarpus integra (0.69), Manihot utilissima (0.55), Musa pudica (0.35), and Mungtingia calabura (0.47). It is concluded that the nutritional value of the all foliages is very potential as a source of fiber and protein for livestock with the respective synchronization indexes, namely 0.46; 0.69; 0.55; 0.35; and 0.47.Keywords: nutritional value, protein-energi synchronization index, foliages, dair

    Pengaruh Perbedaan Komposisi Substrat terhadap Kandungan Nutrisi dan Kualitas Fisik Limbah Nanas Hasil Fermentasi

    Limbah pertanian (kulit dan mahkota nanas) berpotensi sebagai pakan, tetapi terhambat dengan kandungan fraksi serat yang tinggi. Penurunan fraksi serat dilakukan melalui proses fermentasi. Perbedaan komposisi substrat akan memengaruhi kualitas fisik dan kandungan nutrisi produk fermentasi. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan komposisi substrat terhadap kandungan nutrisi dan kualitas fisik limbah nanas hasil permentasi merupakan bertujuan penelitian. Rancangan Acak Lengkap 5 perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan digunakan dalam penelitian, yaitu HR 0 (0% Mahkota Nanas + 100%  Kulit Nanas); HR1 (25% Mahkota Nanas + 75% Kulit Nanas);  HR 2 (50% Mahkota Nanas + 50% Kulit Nanas);  HR 3 (75% Mahkota Nanas + 25% Kulit Nanas) dan HR 4 (100% Mahkota Nanas + 0% Kulit Nanas). Fermentasi dilakukan secara anaerob selama 21 hari dengan penambahan 0,20 b/v Filtrat Abu Sekam Padi (FASP). Peubah yang diukur adalah kualitas fisik (jamur, aroma, tekstur dan warna)  serta kandungan nutrisi (abu, protein kasar, bahan kering, lemak kasar, BETN dan serat kasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perbedaan komposisi kulit dan mahkota nanas tidak memengaruhi (P˃0,05) aroma dan memengaruhi (P˂0,05) jamur, tekstur dan warna, serta kandungan LK,  BK, SK, PK, abu dan BETN. Penggunaan 100% mahkota nanas merupakan hasil terbaik karena menghasilkan kandungan BETN tertinggi 71,7%; protein kasar 8,32% dan serat kasar 14,3%.Kata kunci: filtrat abu sekam padi (FASP), kandungan nutrisi, kualitas fisik, limbah nanasThe Effect of Differences in Substrate Composition on Nutritional Content and Physical Quality of Fermented Pineapple WasteABSTRACT Agricultural waste (pineapple peel and crown) has the potential to be used as feed but is inhibited by its high fiber fraction content.  The reduction of the fiber fraction is carried out through the fermentation process. The difference in substrate composition will affect the physical quality and nutritional content of the fermentation product.  To determine the effect of differences in substrate composition on nutritional content and physical quality of fermented pineapple waste is the aim of the research. Completely randomized design of 5 treatments with 4 replications was used in the study, namely HR 0 (0% Pineapple Crown + 100% Pineapple Peel); HR1 (25% Pineapple Crown + 75% Pineapple Peel); HR 2 (50% Pineapple Crown + 50% Pineapple Peel); HR 3 (75% Pineapple Crown + 25% Pineapple Peel) and HR 4 (100% Pineapple Crown + 0% Pineapple Peel).  Fermentation was carried out anaerobically for 21 days by adding 0.20 w/v of rice husk ash filtrate. The variables measured were physical quality (fungi, aroma, texture, and color) and nutritional content (ash, crude protein, dry matter, extract ether, nitrogen-free extract (BETN), and crude fiber. The results showed that differences in the composition of pineapple peel and crown did not affect (P˃0.05) aroma and affect (P˂0.05) fungi, texture, and color, as well as the content of extract ether, dry matter, crude fiber, crude protein, ash, and BETN. The use of 100% pineapple crown is the best result because it produces the highest BETN content of 71.7%; crude protein 8.32% and crude fiber 14.3%.Keywords: nutritional content, pineapple waste, physical quality, rice husk ash filtrat

    Identifikasi Tingkahlaku Reproduksi dan Karakteristik Telur Ayam Hutan Sebagai Upaya Pelestarian Sumberdaya Genetik di Merauke

    ABSTRAK Plasma nutfah di Merauke perlu di lesatrikan sebagai sumber daya genetik salah satunya adalah ayam hutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai informasi awal tentang habitat, proses reproduksi, karakteristik telur, hingga proses penetasan. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara purposive, penelitian menggunakan metode survey, dan pengamatan secara langsung. Data di analisis secara deskriptif dan rerata menggunakan standar deviasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa habitat alami ayam mulai di tiga wilayah secara umum diareal “deek” hutan sedang hingga lebat. Sarang ayam hutan terbuat dari daun kering, ranting serta dibuat diantara tumpukan kayu lapuk ataupun pada kayu yang masih hidup diatas tanah. Rata-rata diameter sarang mencapai 53-61 cm dengan ketinggian mencapai rata-rata 163-174 cm. Ayam hutan betina mampu bertelur antara 4-5 butir per ekor, rata-rata berat telur ayam hutan mencapai 67- 69 gr dengan warna dominan adalah coklat muda serta bentuk telur oval.  Karakteristik fenotipik warna bulu ayam hutan adalah berwarna coklat dan hitam, sedikit berjambul dibagian kepala.  Habitat ayam hutan di tiga wilayah mulai terganggu, yang berdampak pada tingkahlaku mencari pakan, reproduksi hingga produksi telur ayam hutan. Namun demikian potensi sumber genetik ini perlu dilestarikan di kabupaten merauke.Kata Kunci: tingkahlaku, reproduksi, telur, ayam hutan Identification of Reproductive Behavior and Characteristics a Partridge as an Effort to Preserve Genetic Resources in MeraukeABSTRACT Plasmanutfah needs to be located as a genetic resource, one of which is partridge. The purpose of this research is as initial information about habitat, reproductive process, egg characteristics, and hatching process. The research location was chosen purposively, the study used survey methods and direct observation. Data were analyzed descriptively and averaged using standard deviation. The results showed that the natural habitat of the chickens was starting to be disturbed, the habitat of the forest fowl in the three areas was generally in the middle of the dense forest “deek” area. Forest chicken nests are made of dry leaves, twigs and made between piles of weathered wood or wood that is still alive on the ground. The average nest diameter reaches 53-61 cm with an average height of 163-174 cm. Female jungle fowl can lay between 4-5 eggs per head, the average egg weight of partridge reaches 67-69 grams with the dominant color being light brown and oval egg shape. The phenotypic characteristics of the color of the jungle fowl are brown and black, with a slight crust on the head. The habitat of partridge in these three areas has begun to be disturbed, resulting in the foraging behavior, reproduction, and production of partridge eggs.     Pengembangan Peternakan Sapi Rakyat Melalui Penerapan Kandang Komunal Berkelanjutan

    ABSTRAK Sebagian besar sektor peternakan di Indonesia masih berskala kecil dan masih terfokus pada peningkatan produktivitas ternak, sehingga tidak mempertimbangkan dampak kegiatan terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu untuk mengurangi dampak negatif dari tercemarnya lingkungan, maka perlu adanya penerapan dan pengelolaan sapi yang berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis potensi masyarakat untuk pengoptimalisasian peternakan sapi potong rakyat dengan konsep kandang komunal dan membangun model peternakan sapi potong rakyat melalui penerapan kandang komunal yang berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan kuisioner, survei dan, observasi lapangan serta model system dynamics. Hasil dari kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Muaro Pijoan Kecamatan Jaluko Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Provinsi Jambi memiliki potensi dalam pengoptimalisasian peternakan sapi potong dengan konsep kandang komunal. Faktor–faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan konsep kandang komunal yang berwawasan zero waste management di Desa Muaro Pijoan Kecamatan Jaluko Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Provinsi Jambi meliputi faktor sosial (umur, tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman beternak dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga) dan faktor ekonomi (skala kepemilikan usaha). Model integrasi sistem peternakan sapi terpadu pada lokasi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan sistem dinamik. Model yang dibangun adalah model dinamis integrasi sistem peternakan sapi terpadu untuk meningkatkan pendapatan peternak. Therefore, to reduce the negative impact of environmental pollution, it is necessary to implement and manage sustainable cattle. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of the community to optimize the people's beef cattle farm with the concept of a communal cage and to build a model of smallholder beef cattle farming through the implementation of sustainable communal pens. The method used is to use questionnaires, surveys and, field observations, and system dynamics models. The results of this study can be concluded that the people of Muaro Pijoan Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province have the potential to optimize beef cattle farming with the concept of a communal cage. The factors that hinder the implementation of the communal cage concept with zero waste management insight in Muaro Pijoan Village, Jaluko District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province, including social factors (age, education level, farming experience, and a number of family dependents) and economic factors (scale of business ownership). The integrated cattle husbandry system integration model at the research location uses a dynamic systems approach. The model built is a dynamic model for the integration of an integrated cattle farming system to increase farmer income.     ABSTRAKTelur asin merupakan produk pengolahan telur itik yang cenderung disukai konsumen karena memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dan lebih tahan lama dibandingkan telur itik segar. Telur asin yang diasap sudah banyak dipasaran namun masih memiliki daya tahan dan sifat organoleptik yang masih kurang optimal. Penambahan asap cair diduga dapat meningkatkan sifat organoleptik pada produk telur asin asap yang dihasilkan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan konsentrasi asap cair dan pengasapan terhadap sifat organoleptik telur asin asap. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimen menggunakan 300 telur itik yang telh dikelompokkan ke dalam 4 kelompok perlakuan yang ditambahkan asap cair pada konsentrasi yang berbeda yaitu 0, 1, 2 dan 3%. Pengamatan dilakukan oleh 30 panelis yang tidak terlatih untuk menguji produk telur asin asap terhadap sifat organoleptik yang meliputi rasa, aroma, tekstur, warna, kemasiran dan penerimaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan asap cair dapat mempengaruhi rasa, aroma, tekstur dan warna telur asin asap. Penambahan asap cair pada level 3% memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya.Kata kunci: asap cair, itik cihateup, pengasapan, telur asin asapEffect of Concentration of Liquid Smoke and Smoking Process on Organoleptic Properties of Smoked Salted EggsABSTRACT Salted eggs are duck egg processing products that consumers tend to like because they have different characteristics and are more durable than fresh duck eggs. Smoked salted eggs are already in the market but still have less optimal durability and organoleptic properties. The addition of liquid smoke is thought to improve organoleptic properties of salted egg products. The study aims to determine the effect of the addition of liquid smoke concentration and fumigation on the organoleptic properties of salted egg smoke. The experiment was carried out experimentally using 300 duck eggs which were grouped into 4 treatment groups which were added liquid smoke at different concentrations of 0, 1, 2, and 3%. Observations were carried out by 30 panelists who were not trained to test smoked salted egg products on organoleptic properties which included taste, aroma, texture, color, sandiness and acceptance. The results showed that the addition of liquid smoke could affect the taste, aroma, texture and color of smoked salted eggs.     Mikrostruktur Edible Film Whey Dangke dengan Penambahan Karagenan dan Plasticizer Sorbitol 35%

    ABSTRAK Edible film dari protein whey memiliki sifat baik sebagai bahan pengemas karena memiliki keunggulan seperti transparan, lunak, tidak berbau serta mampu menahan aroma produk pangan yang dikemas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan konsentrasi karagenan dan jenis plasticizer sorbitol 35% terhadap mikrostruktur edible film berbahan dasar whey dangke. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimental desain dan variabel yang diamati adalah pengamatan mikrostruktur. Perlakuan menggunakan konsentrasi karagenan yang berbeda, terdiri dari konsentrasi karagenan A1=2%; A2=2,5%; A3=3% dan A4=3,5%. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan memberikan gambaran secermat mungkin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya polimer yang semakin meningkat maka akan berperan dalam meningkatkan viskositas suspensi film selama terjadinya proses gelatinisasi, sehingga edible film yang dihasilkan memiliki mikrostruktur yang semakin baik dengan peningkatan karagenan. Disimpulkan bahwa mikrostruktur edible film yang lebih homogen diperoleh dengan menggunakan rasio karagenan 3% dimana distribusi karagenan tercampur ke dalam matriks protein whey secara merata.Kata kunci: edible film, karagenan, sorbitol, whey dangkeMicrostructure of Whey Dangke's Edible Film with Karageenan and 35% Plasticizer Sorbitol AdditionABSTRACTEdible film from whey protein has good properties as a packaging because it has advantages including being transparent, soft, odorless, and able to withstand the aroma of the food product it is coated with. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of carrageenan concentration and the type of sorbitol plasticizer 35% on the edible film made from whey dangke microstructure.  The research was conducted as a laboratory experiment and the observed variable was microstructure observation. The treatments used different carrageenan concentrations, consisting of carrageenan concentration A1 = 2%; A2 = 2.5%; A3 = 3% and A4 = 3.5%. The results obtained were analyzed using descriptive methods by providing a picture as carefully as possible. The results showed that the presence of an increasing polymer would play a role in increasing the viscosity of the film suspension during the gelatinization process so that the resulting edible film had a better microstructure with the increase in carrageenan. It was concluded that a more homogeneous edible film microstructure was obtained using a carrageenan ratio of 3% where the distribution of carrageenan was evenly mixed into the whey protein matrix.Keywords: edible film, carrageenan, sorbitol, whey dangk

    Pengaruh Sumber Daya Manusia terhadap Aksesibilitas Sumber Daya Usaha Ternak Sapi Potong Rakyat

    ABSTRAK Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) peternak merupakan salah satu faktor kunci keberhasilan usaha ternak serta berperan penting terhadap perkembangan dan keberlanjutan usaha ternak. Teori menyebutkan bahwa tinggi dan rendahnya kualitas SDM dapat mempengaruhi aksesibilitas sumber daya pada suatu sistem bisnis. Tujuan penelitian ialah mengkaji pengaruh SDM peternak terhadap aksesibilitas sumber daya usaha ternak sapi potong. Lokasi penelitian ialah Desa Purnama, Kecamatan Tegalampel, Kabupaten Bondowoso. Desa Purnama sebagai salah satu Desa Binaan Universitas Jember untuk pengembangan usaha ternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Variabel penelitian meliputi SDM peternak (X), sumber daya finansial (Y1), sumber daya teknologi (Y2), dan sumber daya fisik (Y3). Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observasi, dan survei dengan menggunakan wawancara dan pengisian kuisioner berskala likert. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDM peternak berpengaruh positif terhadap aksesibilitas peternak pada sumber daya finansial, teknologi, dan fisik. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber daya finansial, teknologi, dan fisik dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh kualitas SDM peternak masing-masing sebesar 0,359; 0,431; dan 0,372.Kata kunci: finansial, sapi potong rakyat, sumber daya, teknologi, fisikThe Effect of Human Resources on the Resources Accessibility of Beef Cattle Farming Business ABSTRACT Human Resources (HR) farmers are one of the key factors in the success of livestock farming businesses and play an important role in the development and sustainability of livestock farming businesses. The theory states that the high and low quality of HR can affect the accessibility of resources in a business system. The research objective was to examine the influence of farmer’s HR on the accessibility of beef cattle farming business resources. The research location is Purnama Village, Tegalampel District, Bondowoso Regency. Purnama Village is one of the Fostered Villages of Universitas Jember for the development of beef cattle farming business in Bondowoso Regency. The research variables are farmer HR (X), financial resources (Y1), technological resources (Y2), and physical resources (Y3). Data were collected using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method, observation, and surveys using interviews and questionnaires on a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results showed that the farmers' HR had a positive effect on the accessibility of farmers to financial, technological and physical resources. The conclusion of this research shows that financial, technological, and physical resources are significantly affected by the quality of the farmers' HR by 0.359; 0.431; and 0.372 respectively.Keywords: financial, beef cattle, resources, technological, physica

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kompetensi pengelola agroeduwisata sapi perah berbasis masyarakat, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada tingkat kompetensi pengelola agroeduwisata sapi perah berbasis masyarakat, dan menyusun strategi pengembangan pengelolaan agroeduwisata sapi perah berbasis masyarakat di Krucil Kabupaten Probolinggo. Penelitian dilakukan Ex post facto pada bulan Juli sampai Desember 2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sensus sampling dengan jumlah sampel 67 orang. Alat analisis yang digunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasilnya menunjukkan pengelola KUD Argopuro kompeten dalam aspek pengelolaan bidang agroeduwisata, membangun kerjasma, dan pemecahan masalah. Tingkat kompetensi pengelola agroeduwisata sapi perah dipengaruhi faktor-faktor efektivitas penyuluhan, motivasi, dukungan lingkungan, proses belajar, dan karakteristik individu karyawan. Strategi pengembangan agroeduwisata yaitu menyelenggarakan kegiatan penyuluhan yang efektif, peningkatan motivasi, dukungan lingkungan sosial dan informasi, proses belajar media cetak dan elektronik serta penguatan kapasitas individu karyawan pengelola agroeduwisata sapi perah.Kata Kunci: agroeduwisata, koperasi, sapi perah, susuAnalysis of  Competence Of Dairy Cow-Based Agro-Tourism Managers  in KUD Argopuro, Krucil District, Probolinggo Regency, East Java ProvinceABSTRACTThis study was aimed to analyze the level of competence of community-based dairy cattle agro-tourism managers, to analyze the factors that influence the competency level of community-based dairy cattle agro-tourism managers, and developing community-based dairy cattle agro-tourism management strategies in Krucil, Probolinggo Regency. The research is Ex post facto which takes from July to December 2018. The technique of sampling was a census sampling with 67 peoples. The analysis tool used multiple linear regression. The result showed  the manager of KUD Argopuro is competent in the management aspects of agro-tourism, building cooperation and problem solving. The competency level of the dairy cattle agro-tourism management is influenced by factors of effectiveness of counseling, motivation, environmental support and learning processes and individual characteristics of employees. Agro-tourism development strategies, namely organizing effective extension activities, increasing motivation, supporting social and information environments, learning process for print and electronic media as well as strengthening the individual capacity of dairy cow agro-tourism management employees.Keywords: agro-tourism, cooperation, dairy cattle, mil
