This study was conducted to find out whether or not: (1) there was a significant difference in narrative reading comprehension achievement of the eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang before and after they were taught by using REAP strategy, (2) there was a significant difference in reading comprehension achievement on narrative text between the eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang who were taught by using REAP strategy and those who were not. The population of the study was the eighth-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang in the academic year 2015/2016 consisting of 240 students. The sample was 70 students who were divided into experimental and control group that were taken by using purposive sampling technique. To collect the data and to measure students' reading comprehension achievement, the reading comprehension test was given. The test was administered twice as a pretest and posttest. The result from paired sample t-test showed that t-obtained was higher than t-table (11.604>2.0301) at the significance level of p<0.05. It means that H01 was rejected and there was a significant difference in students’ reading comprehension achievement of experimental group. The result from independent sample t-test of the post-test in both experimental and control groups showed that there was a significant difference at the significance level of p<0.05 and t-obtained was higher than t-table (2.029>1.9955). Therefore, there was a significant difference in reading comprehension achievement between the students who were taught by using REAP strategy and those who were not

The sample was taken using purposive sampling. In carrying out the study, the writer used a quasi-experimental design. Finally, the data were analyzed by using the independent t-test formula. And based on the result of findings, it was found that the mean of posttest score in the experimental class was 6.83 and the control class was 5.08. Beside that, the t-obtained was 6.25 and the t-table with df 41 (43-2) with 0.05 significant level was 2.02. therefore, the study concludes that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted because the t-obtained was lowest than the t-table (6.25 > 2.02). It also meant that there were any significant differences between students who are taught by using Neurological Impress Method (NIM) and who are taught by using Conventional Method

And the methodology of the research used experimental method, by quasi-design. Meanwhile, the population was the tenth-grade students of MA NU Sumber Agung OKU Timur, Sumatera Selatan. It consists of 60 students, used purposive sampling technique. And there were 42 students as a sample of this research. In collecting the data, the researchers used the written test as the instrument to obtain the students' ability in writing descriptive text. And for analyzing the data using independent t-test. The data distribution was considered normal. It was proved by statistics calculation of normality test which shows that <  or 9,72 < 11,07 in experimental class and <  or 2,99 < 11,07 in control class. Then, based on the calculation of homogeneity test the data variant was homogeneous. It was found that F-obt > F- table (157 > 2.08). Meanwhile based on the result of the statistics calculation using independent t-test found that t-out = 7.69, it was higher than t-table = 2.02. it meant that there was any significant difference between the students who are taught using humanizing the classroom method and those who are taught using conventional method

This objective of this study was to know whether or not there are any significant differences between the students who are taught by using Diary media and the students who are taught by using conventional". And for the study was quantitative research by using an experimental method and quasi-experimental design. Moreover, the population of the study covered the entire of the tenth-grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 02 Karang Tengah in academic year 2017/2018. It consists of 160 students. And the technique sampling was chosen by purposive sampling. There were two groups they are the experimental group(X-A2) with 32 students and the control group( X-S1)  consists of 32 students. In this study, the writer used a written test as an instrument for collecting the data. The data obtained from Independent t-test analysis, between the result of posttest in the experimental group and control group. Based on the calculation by using Independent t-test, the writer found that t obtained was higher than t table (3,531 > 2,000) and less than at the significant level α = 0.05(0.001 < 0.05) in a two-tailed test. So, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It can be concluded that any significant differences between the students who are taught by using Diary media and the students who are taught by using conventional media
