Constant raising the requirements for logistics service of end-consumer expand sales markets and economic relationships that are formed under conditions of uncertainty and instability of the environment, leading to the need to consider not only the logistics system of internal factors but also external. This issue is especially important for Commonwealth of Independent States that rebuilt to a market economy. Nowadays, the grocery logistics network distribution system that would fit for end-consumer and logistics systems owner simultaneously have not fully developed. On the one hand, consumers are looking for minimal cost, which can be provided by direct logistic channels, but minimal cost do not give flexibility in quantity and volumes or other services. On the other hand, the multilevel system provides high level of service and diversity in channel, but products are more expensive in it. Finding the balance between rational price and level of service for end-consumer and logistics system profits in period is been up-today issue in consumer-oriented logistics. The development of mechanisms makes it possible to assess the scale of the rational use of direct and multi-level logistics for the distribution of material flows, which was demonstrated with the numbering of participants in the logistics system in the current situation (external and internal factors). The paper considers the functioning of the system for delivering goods on a direct and multilevel distribution channel. An integrated approach to evaluate the efficiency of the functioning of the logistics system and the consumer had been used

    Get PDF
Shelter is the third basic need of human beings after food and clothing. Everyone has a desire to own a house. Pakistan is a developing country and due to limited resources, is unable to fulfill the complete demand of shelter of the population. In the four provinces, different housing schemes are offered by the government but due to the scarcity of resources, they are not enough to satisfy people. Governments should introduce new housing schemes in each of the four provinces, other than the existing ones. Private sector should also help the government in this regard by constructing employee’s colonies and deduct the nominal amount from their salaries, so that by the time of their retirement they become the owners of their houses. Descriptive statistics technique is used to analyze the housing schemes with the comparison of population accordingly in each province.  Pakistan is an Islamic country and due to religious issues people are not in favor of availing financing facilities provided by conventional banks and HBFC. But after the establishment of Islamic banks up to some extent this issue has been slightly resolved. Islamic banks should introduce house financing facility to women on easy terms and then up to some extent, help the government to solve the problem of providing shelter to the population. Banking sectors should easy the procedure of house financing to increase the number of borrowers

    Get PDF
The study of financial balance is carried out in order to determine the supply and demand of financial resources for the agricultural sector and is to take into account the factors shaping the economic relations of the personified forms of capital movement. The balance of demand and supply of financial resources institutionally combines the resources of agricultural producers, credit institutions, financial institutions and the state and functionally it involves a set of the functions performed by financial regulation to achieve the goals of agricultural production. Since the concept of balance lies in the plane of financial and credit infrastructure, it is a system of normatively defined institutional and functional elements that form, regulate, mediate and develop financial relations and ensure the functioning of the agricultural sector by creating the resource potential of economic entities to carry out production on a permanent or extended basis. The methodological basis for the formation of the financial balance of the agricultural sector is enriched by new phenomena of domestic and foreign practice. Improving the methods of its formation and functioning is the basis for achieving sustainable long-term development of the agricultural sector and providing it with sufficient financial resources. On this way, it is necessary to take into account both domestic and international experience. If the volume of potential financial resources of the agricultural sector in 2017 amounted to about 1024 billion UAH (37 billion US dollars), then for the period up to 2020 it is predicted that it can grow annually by no less than 215 billion UAH (15-20%) in the next 3-5 years and by the end of 2020 against the level of 2015 will increase by 2.5 times. Sustainable agrarian development requires strategic planning of financial resources for a variety of their sources and state regulation of this process

Over the years, the paper and cellulose industry in Alto Tietê community kept the eucalypt production system in partners with local farmers. However, the costs of the integrated systems were very higher, and contribute to the industry adopted the new strategy like investment in production mechanization in areas plains and most far. This hit the local market with eucalyptus devaluation. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the strategy applied by local farmers to reduce eucalypt production costs. The case study was carried out in the Salesópolis community, São Paulo, as an exploratory research to comprehend the impact of paper and cellulose industry change made in the local community. The results showed that the total cost estimated to first production cycle was 1.8 most than the second cycle and the rentability in 6.5 years was de 1,92% less than other cycles. The third production cycle showed downs in land rentability, almost 18.5% less than the second cycle and 16.5% less than the first cycle. Therefore, the eucalypt production in the Alto Tietê community already was a big business and income source to local farmers and with eucalypt market devaluation and the cost increase of production and operation, the farmers had opted by the maintenance of the third cycle of production even not being the most profitable

Simulation and analysis of queues in banks: a case study of an agency in the southern State of Rio de Janeiro

    Get PDF
An in-depth study of wait times in queues has become a factor of the banks' full interest for service improvements and reduced operating costs. When the demand is greater than the capacity offered the queue is formed, that is, queuing system is any process where a distinct group waits for a service. When there is adequate management, customer waiting time can be minimized, resulting in customer satisfaction and hence higher profitability. In view of this, the present work proposes a study of the flow of clients in an agency banking in the southern state of Rio de Janeiro. This work uses the qualitative and quantitative approach. The research is classified as descriptive, explanatory, bibliographical and case study. This work also presents the main concepts about simulation, modeling, specifically, in the Arena software, and describes the method of how the data were obtained for the construction of the model. The model simulates the capacity rate, number of customers in the queue, time of service and waiting time at which the customer can be subject at the agency banking. With such a study, we can analyze the behavior of queues in the system and thus propose improvements in order to guarantee the best scenario for both organization and customer satisfaction
