The influence of brand awareness, brand association, and perceived quality toward consumers' purchase intention: a case of richeese factory, Jakarta
This study investigates the relationship between brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. A total of 99 students from Budi Luhur University was used as respondents in this study based on the convenience sampling method. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and SmartPLS 3.0 software. The analysis specifies that there is a significant positive relationship among brand awareness, brand association and perceived quality towards brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. However, there is not a significant relationship between brand loyalty and brand purchasing intention. It indicates that consumers who are satisfied with Richeese Factory products and services do not always end up making purchases. The ability of managers to understand the factors which shape consumer brand behavior is required to develop and to maintain their brand position in high competitive fast food brand competition
Effective board management and good corporate performance in nigerian public liability companies
The need for effective board management and good corporate performance lies at the heart of good corporate governance theory because as the agency theory contends the managers’ interest and the interest of shareholders are not almost always the same. Good corporate performance is the basis of the business as reflected through enhanced shareholder value measured by return on investment, return on assets or return on equity. Effective board management necessary for good corporate performance requires significant dose of emotional intelligence competencies such as integrity, transparency and loyalty. Such will ensure that the board of directors exercises internal control through effective monitoring roles aimed at protecting shareholders’ interest as contemplated by the principles of good corporate governance. Ninety seven individuals participated in the study conducted through the exploratory research design. Data were analyzed through descriptive and regression statistical techniques and it was found that effective board management has significant positive correlation with good corporate performance. There is need for more understanding in this area, therefore further study could examine the relationship between corporate fraud and incessant bank failures in Nigeria despite various regulatory interventions. Consequent on the result of this study, it was suggested that the appointment of members of the board of directors of public liability companies in Nigeria must not be done without consideration to relevant experience
Editorial Volume 11, Issue 1
Another year begins and another new edition is being released.New challenges for the year 2020 are being created. In 2019 we had eight editions, 3 special editions and 5 normal editions.By 2020 we plan to have at least 3 special editions and 6 normal editions. But none of this would be possible if it were not for the colleagues who make up our journal, as we are currently present in more than 200 countries
Multi-item a supply chain production inventory model of time dependent production rate and demand rate under space constraint in fuzzy environment
In this paper, we have developed an integrated production inventory model for two echelon supply chain consisting of one vendor and one retailer. Production rate and demand rate of retailer and customer are time dependent. Idle time cost of the vendor has been considered. Multi-item inventory has been considered. In integrated inventory model average cost has been calculated under limitation on stroge space. Two echelon supply chain fuzzy inventory model has been solved by various techniques like as Fuzzy programming technique with hyperbolic membership functions (FPTHMF), Fuzzy non-linear programming technique (FNLP) and Fuzzy additive goal programming technique (FAGP), weighted Fuzzy non-linear programming technique (WFNLP) and weighted Fuzzy additive goal programming technique (WFAGP). A numerical example is illustrated to test the model. Finally to make the model more realistic, sensitivity analysis has been shown
Prospects for implementation of corporate environmental responsibility concept: the eu experience for Ukraine
A comparative analysis of the main indicators of ecological sustainability in Ukraine and European countries has been done and the economic indicators of nature use in Ukraine have been studied. The purpose of this article is to study the experience and development peculiarities of corporate environmental responsibility, as well as the implementation of better European environmental practice in Ukrainian business. The research methodology concerns to the study of the Environmental Sustainability Index of Ukraine and European countries, as well as the Eco-innovations Index. The key criteria for corporate environmental responsibility has been identified based on the analysis results and a list of factors affecting the environmental responsibility of the enterprise has been formed. The conceptual framework of corporate environmental responsibility in Ukraine with application European principles and approaches for creating a favourable business environment has been developed
Quality control of auditing: Ukrainian prospects
The authors conducted a study of the current audit quality control system in Ukraine to develop proposals according to the main areas of its development and improvement based on the positive foreign experience and criteria determined by users of audit services. The information base of the empirical study was the data from the reports of the Audit Chamber of Ukraine on the activities of audit companies and their statistical indicators. The results of the study, analytical findings and recommendations for practice and research prospects are presented in the article. The provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine are used as a source of representation of conceptual definitions and methods for assessing the quality of audit in Ukraine. The research methodology is based on theoretical generalizations and the use of the scientific tools, including comparative analysis, a survey of users of audit services regarding its qualitative characteristics and the study of the experience of foreign countries. The necessity of introducing social (public) supervision, development of internal audit quality control, increasing the responsibility of audit entities, will help to overcome the identified shortcomings associated with the quality parameters of the provided audit services. A number of hypotheses are formulated, which were confirmed during the study or require additional research. The proposed recommendations can have a positive impact on the overall quality of audit activities, provided that they are put into practice in a comprehensive manner. Thus, it is not necessary that they all be implemented at the same time. sequential implementation option is possible
About the internal combustion engines forces
The paper presents an algorithm to set the parameters of the dynamics of the classic mechanism the main of internal combustion. It shows the distribution of the forces (on the main mechanism of the engine) on engines with internal combustion. Dynamic, the gears can be distributed in the same way as forces. Practically, in the dynamic regimes, the velocities have the same synchronization as forces. The method shall be applied separately for two distinct situations: when the engine is working on a compressor and in the system of the motor. For the two individual cases, two independent formulae are obtained for the dynamic cinematic forces (gearbox). The calculations shall be made for an engine with a single cylinder. The change of speed in the dynamics feels like a variation of the angular speed of the engine. It is more difficult to be taken into account (theoretically) effect on an engine with several cylinders
The institutionalization of accounting: the impact of national standards on the development of economies
The purpose of the study is to establish the essence and identification of the components of institutional accounting theory and substantiate the role and impact of these components on the national economy through the example of standardization. The author's general scheme of the institutional paradigm of institutional accounting and the approach to the development of his theory was built in the study based on a theoretical, empirical generalization, taking into account positive foreign experience, national scientific views and traditions. The examples of changes in GDP after the introduction of accounting standards (which are a structural component of institutional accounting theory) in the 6 largest countries of the world are given as an argument for the positive impact of institutional pragmatics on the national economy using the graphical method. It is proved that the dynamics that can be used to identify the impact of accounting standardization on a country's economy may be the dynamics of its GDP. The expediency of taking into account the institutional environment of Ukraine in the issues of formalization of the Institute of Accounting, as well as its political, environmental and social situation is substantiated. The conducted research confirms the influence of national peculiarities on the results of activation of institutional accounting principles and the presence of individual characteristics of values taken as arguments of indicators. It is substantiated that it is important to find effective indicators to illustrate the impact of each institutional component of accounting on the national economy
Multi objective fuzzy inventory model with deterioration, price and time dependent demand and time dependent holding cost
In this paper, we have formulated an inventory model with time dependent holding cost, selling price as well as time dependent demand. Multi-item inventory model has been considered under limitation on storage space. Due to uncertainty all the require cost parameters are taken as generalized trapezoidal fuzzy number. Our proposed multi-objective inventory model has been solved by using fuzzy programming techniques which are FNLP, FAGP, WFNLP and WFAGP methods. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the application of the model. Finally to illustrate the model and sensitivity analysis and graphical representation have been shown.
An algorithm to solve the inverse kinematics to a stewart platform
Mechanical systems in motion type parallel structures are solid, fast and accurate. Between mobile systems parallel the best known and used system is that of a Stewart platform, as being and the oldest system, quickly, solid and accurate. The paper presents a few main elements of the Stewart platforms. In the case where a motto element consists of a structure composed of two elements in a relative movement from the point of view of the train of propulsion and especially in the dynamic calculations, it is more convenient to represent the motto element as a single moving item. The paper presents an exact, original analytical geometry method for determining the kinematic and dynamic parameters of a parallel mobile structure. Compared with other methods already known, the presented method has the great advantage of being an exact analytical method of calculation and not one iterative-approximately
