    No full text
The COVID-19 pandemic forced non-essential sectors to limit operations, leading to financial decline. Organizational readiness to adopt digital technology has become critical for firms' survival. However, limited empirical research has explored the correlation between organizational readiness, financial performance, and project performance. This study aims to address this gap by examining these relationships. Using a quantitative approach, this study employed non-probability purposive sampling, collecting 85 data points between December 27, 2021, and January 27, 2022. A total of 30 indicators were used to measure five research constructs, and the data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that organizational readiness positively influences project performance through the mediating effect of organizational capabilities, specifically dynamic capabilities and project management capabilities. Both dynamic capabilities and project management capabilities positively affect project performance. Additionally, the study reveals a positive correlation between project performance and financial performance. However, dynamic capabilities do not significantly impact project management capabilities. This study suggests that top management should optimize the utilization of existing assets, enhance technical capabilities, align resources with strategic objectives, foster innovation, secure organizational support, cultivate an innovative work environment, and maintain a clear business vision

A purposive sampling method was used to select the sample, which included companies with available ESG scores from 2018 to 2022 and accessible annual reports for the same period. The final sample consists of 83 companies, totalling 299 observations. Multiple regression analysis was employed to assess the direct effects of integrated reporting and the moderating role of ESG performance (ESGSCORE) on company value. Our findings reveal that integrated reporting positively influences company value and that ESG performance significantly moderates this relationship, enhancing the benefits of integrated reporting. The results underscore the importance for companies to adopt integrated reporting and enhance ESG performance to improve market valuation. The study also suggests that promoting integrated reporting and ESG disclosures can enhance market transparency and accountability. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies, sector-specific analyses, geographical variations, and the role of digital technologies in integrated reporting and ESG performance to provide deeper insights and practical recommendations

Performance Analysis of Eccentrically Braced Frames (EBF) using Metallic Yielding Damper (MYD) with Hysteretic Steel Damper (HSD) Type

    No full text
Eccentrically Braced Frames (EBFs) are earthquake-resistant steel structures with excellent shear capacity and ductility. During earthquakes, the EBF link yields first, protecting other structural elements. Traditionally, the link is integrated with the main beam and separated by bracing. However, if the link is damaged, replacing the entire beam becomes necessary. To address this, a vertical link design allows for link replacement without altering the beam section. This study evaluates two vertical link options: a Wide Flange (WF) link section and a Hysteretic Steel Damper (HSD) type Metallic Yielding Damper. Results suggest the WF link is preferable due to superior shear capacity and energy dissipation compared to the HSD link. The findings recommend the WF link for vertical link EBFs to optimize earthquake performance

    No full text
The escalating proliferation of vehicles has had a significant impact on the existing Passenger Car Equivalent (PCE) values, making them less effective under current traffic conditions for assessing road performance. This study aims to redefine PCE values for urban highways using the Time Headway method. Data collection was conducted over four days during peak traffic hours. The methodology involved direct field observations, analysis footage, and statistical modeling of time headway data distributions. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov fit test identified the Wakeby distribution as the most suitable representation of time headway data. Results yielded PCE values of 0.413 for motorcycles and 1.416 for medium vehicles, with discrepancies of 65.37% and 18.02%, indicating that the measured PCE values surpass the established benchmarks. The rise in vehicle numbers and the methodologies employed contribute to the variations in observed PCE levels. This research provides valuable insights for urban road planning and foundation studies for future research

    No full text
Factors such as U-turn geometric and conflicting traffic volume often play a key role on U-turn capacity and safety. Evaluating U-turn capacity under modified geometric designs and various conflicting traffic flow conditions thus is essential to improving traffic flow and safety. This paper analysis U-turn capacity under various conflicting traffic conditions and propose the U-turn geometry modifications to improve capacity. A microsimulation model using PTV VISSIM is developed, and the results is compared with conventional analytical method to highlight the advantages of using traffic microsimulation approach in such analyses. The results show that U-turn capacity is significantly affected by conflicting traffic flow that in turn affecting headway time, and service time for various vehicle type. Among the geometric modifications tested, channelization designs showed significant increase in capacity whilst roundabout and indirect right-side design give mixed results depending on the composition of vehicles performing U-turns

Online food delivery (OFD) businesses face several challenges, including the need for fast deliveries, a high volume of orders, and effective route planning to optimize service efficiency. This study employs the Meal Delivery Routing Problem (MDRP) algorithm to address issues related to courier assignment and capacity management in food delivery operations. The research focuses on scenarios involving a single courier, a single merchant, and multiple demand nodes. Two main methods were used in the study: (1) The Maximum Covering Model (MCM) algorithm, which identifies the coverage area of the courier, and (2) The Flexible Meal Delivery Assignment and Routing Problem (FMD-ARP) algorithm, which tackles routing challenges. Various scenarios were tested to validate the model based on the chosen routes. The aim of this research is to develop a new model and algorithm that reduces delivery time and increases the number of orders that couriers can handle. After processing and analyzing the numerical data, the study identified the most effective scenario that led to improved delivery times and benefits for couriers, enabling them to manage more orders and achieve faster delivery compared to existing algorithms
