Get PDFapplication/pdf本稿は，リスク回避度と時間選好という2種類の行動経済学的要因が，日本人女性の結婚行動に与える影響について分析を行った。これまでの先行研究とは異なり，結婚の決定要因として，伝統的な経済理論に基づく諸変数を数多くコントロールした上で，行動経済学的要因の影響を評価したことが本稿の特徴である。具体的には，鈴木（2024）による独身者・既婚者のプールデータを用いたプロビットモデルをベースに，行動経済学的要因を説明変数に加えて推定した。その結果，リスク回避度，高時間選好率，双曲割引のいずれの変数も，結婚の決定要因として統計的に有意とはならなかった。しかしながら，行動経済学的要因との関係性が高いと考えられる結婚サービスの利用や異性の紹介・出会いに関する諸変数を説明変数から除くと，双曲割引のみが正に有意な結果となった。departmental bulletin pape

To Support Children Connected to Foreign Countries to Learn in a Local Learning Support Class : From the Volunteers’ Observations in the Review Meetings in a Learning Support Class
Get PDFapplication/pdfThere are many difficulties in providing support for children connected to foreign countries who are living in Japan. The support system in schools is still insufficient, and out-of-school support in cooperation with local communities is necessary. However, local learning support classes are non-formal educational settings where support is provided by volunteers, and a shortage of human resources is an issue. In particular, the challenges related to the children connected to foreign countries are thought to be even more significant in learning support classes that anyone can participate in. Through the analysis of the data from the review meetings of a local learning support class, the content of support, issues, and efforts to be made to improve support were clarified. As a result, it was pointed out that it is more important to provide support to encourage children to express themselves in Japanese, autonomy support, and emotional support. Finally, in terms of cooperation in the learning support class for continued better support, improvement of support through the PDCA cycle was proposed.論説departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFapplication/pdf本稿は、バークリーの最後の哲学的著作『サイリス』（1744）に固有の哲学的枠組みを、「生命哲学」という視点から描き出し、『人知原理論』（1710）の「非物質論」哲学とは異なる諸特徴がこの生命哲学に見て取れることを示したい。その考察の焦点は、万物を賦活する「生命原理」について、バークリーが『サイリス』でいかに説明するかである。最初に、『原理』の非物質論に基づく現象主義的枠組みで生命現象がどのように説明されたかを、第60‒66 節に基づき考察する。次に、『サイリス』で生命原理とされる酸の精気、空気について順に考察し、根源的生命原理である純粋な元素的火の四つの基本的特性を説明する。さらに、これらの考察に基づいて、『サイリス』の生命原理が『原理』の説明枠組みを超え出ることを示したい。すなわち、『原理』では生命現象は現象主義的に解釈された機械論の枠組みで理解されたが、純粋な火はもはや現象主義でも機械論でも捉えられない。そして最後に、『原理』に見られるような生物の内的過程を生命現象の「記号」とする記号論的理解が、『サイリス』でも維持されるかを検討する。研究論文departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFapplication/pdfFor what reasons and circumstances do some people elect to seclude themselves in remote places to perform severe ascetic practices? This short essay draws upon the example of retreats at Shō no iwaya 笙の窟, the “Cave of the Flute,” in central Japan （Kamikitayama 上北山, Wakayama Prefecture 和歌山県）. I am grateful for the opportunity to, first, examine the context in which this location was used over time̶paying special attention to the medieval period̶and, then, turn to one instance of contemporary practice. Although the medieval and contemporary settings are very different, my purpose is to show that in both periods, it was paramount to rely on earlier role models, who created the mold for new interpretations. By constructing and relying on common references, practitioners throughout history manage to maintain a tenuous but strong continuity with past times: the shared experience of effort and hardship creates a bond appealing enough to last centuries. In addition, the sedimentation of previous practices is an extremely important factor for cohesion and consolidation. The geographical location of Shō no iwaya is remote and secluded. It is a shallow cave, exposed to wind and rain, on the eastern flank of the Ōmine mountains （Ōminesan 大峰山） on the Kii peninsula 紀伊半島. At present, the cave is surrounded by dense shrubs and woods and does not open into expansive vistas. Yet, Shō no iwaya counts among the ancient and celebrated sites of Shugendō 修験道 practice. As a religious tradition, Shugendō, “the Way to Powers through Practice,” is best known for its focus on ascetic practices in mountain regions. Its followers are called either yamabushi 山伏（or 山臥）, “persons who lay down in the mountains,” or shugenja 修験者, “persons of power.” Through ritualized retreats and circuits in the mountains called “mountain/peak entries”（mineiri 峯入り）, punctuated by various types of austerities, yamabushi or shugenja aim at acquiring and mastering “marvelous powers”（reigen 霊験）.
