ANALISIS MODEL REGRESI SEDIMEN KOLAM LELE, SUKROSA, DAN BIOFERTILIZER TERHADAP PROSES NITRIFIKASI
Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was used to create regression model for sediment of catfish ponds, sucroses, and biofertilizers on the nitrification process. The sediment of catfish pond used was sediment collected from catfish farm at age of 21 days after seed stocking. The nitrification process was done in active sludge reactor of 1 L reactor working capacity which was entirely given ammonia in the form of NH3-N as much as 77.65 ppm. Central Composite Design (CCD) was used to determine the amount of sediment, sucrose, and biofertilizer. The ammonia nitrification process was carried out over a period of 21 days. The three main parameters, including rate of ammonia oxidation (NH3-N), nitrite accumulation (NO2-N), and nitrate accumulation (NO3-N). From this research, it was known that 74 g/L sediments of catfish ponds, 6.6 g/L sucrose 7.5 mL/L biofertilizer were required to obtain maximum ammonia oxidation rate. The result of the verification experiment obtained was 99.85%. In this research, two isolates of bacteria were isolated. Biochemical test using kit of VITEK GN+ (bioMerieux) indicated that the isolated bacteria were belong to the species of Sphingobacterium thalpophilum (probability = 99%) and Cupriavidus pauculus (probabililty = 98%).Keywords: ammonia, central composite design (CCD), nitrifying bacteria, Response Surface Methodology (RSM

PENENTUAN LOKASI AGROINDUSTRI KOPRA DI KABUPATEN MENTAWAI DENGAN SIMULASI SISTEM DINAMIK
Mentawai Islands Regency is an area in West Sumatra with its main commodity of copra. Copra produced by farmers is sold to several collectors and copra is carried outside the Mentawai for further processing by other parties. This research recommends the government to establish a copra-based agroindustry unit and bring greater added value to the Mentawai people. For this purpose, the establishment of an agro-industry consisting of copra processing plants and a major copra warehouse was proposed. This main warehouse supplyis derived from warehouses that exist on every major island in the Mentawai Islands regency. Copra produced by farmers will be directly purchased and stored in copra warehouses on each island and then sent to the main warehouse and then subsequentlyprocessed at the copra processing plant. The proposal to determine the location of the agro-industry was decided by considering the logistical costs incurred for the delivery of raw materials to the main warehouse along the copra supply chain flow which included the cost of savings and shipping costs. Location selection was carried out with a dynamic system approach due complex inter-island supply systems with copra supply values depend on the time function. Dynamic system simulation was carried out with three scenarios of agroindustry locations, namely Siberut, South Sipora, and Sikakap Island. Simulation results showed that the establishment of the main factory and warehouse was established on Sipora Island because it generates the lowest total logistics costs.Keywords: location determination, copra, mentawai, simulation, logisti
PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN MACHINE LEARNING PADA PENGEMBANGAN BASIS DATA HERBAL SEBAGAI SUMBER INFORMASI KANDIDAT OBAT KANKER
Cancer is still an epidemiological disease in Indonesia. Drug development against cancer still relies to pharmacological laboratories and natural chemicals, which could have side effects. Cancer drug development has entered the stage of molecular biology, where the interaction of ligand chemical structure with receptor protein can be studied with high accuracy. Various chemical compounds, ranging from synthetic, semi-synthetic, to natural materials, developed for the purpose to fight one of the most dangerous diseases. In the context of the development of herbal-based drugs, there has been found heaps of natural compounds, curated and annotated, in various databases belonging to China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, and several other countries. However, problems arise when choosing the best bioactive compounds to develop against cancer. Complexity arises because the metabolic pathway of cancer is very diverse, depending on the type and phase of cancer. Therefore, in this systematic review, we developed a machine learning approach to screen for these bioactive compounds, then took the best candidates for molecular simulation operations that would be tested for validity in wet experiments. Thus, the automation of the candidate drug development process for cancer could be achieved with great significance. It is known that the most effective and efficient machine learning method was Naïve Bayes, but the best in processing large amounts of compound data was classfier SVM. PEMANFAATAN ANGGUR LAUT (Caulerpa recemosa) DALAM PEMBUATAN SUP KRIM INSTAN
Caulerpa recemosa is one type of seaweed commonly used as a snack in raw form. High water content causes Caulerpa recemosa susceptible to damage. One effort to utilize Caulerpa recemosa is to process it to instant cream soup. The purpose of this study was to process Caulerpa recemosa into instant cream soup and done proximate analysis so as sensory evaluation. The methods done in this research were instant cream soup processing using vacuum drying oven then proximate analysis and sensory evaluation. The results of this research was that instant cream soup produced in this research equipped with green characteristics and seaweed scent. Based on the results of the proximate analysis, the instant cream soup contained water content (5.78%), ash (17.82%), protein (5.74%), fat (17.50%), and carbohydrate (60.87%). Sensory evaluation, visually, and taste showed a significant difference between instant cream soup and control, while texture, aroma and overall acceptance were not significantly different. Instant cream soup Caulerpa recemosa has distinctive characteristics for the colour and aroma that can be as added value, besides it also had good nutritional value and can be accepted by consumers. It could be concluded that Caulerpa recemosa could be processed into instant cream soup and has nutritional value and could be accepted by panelists.Keywords: Caulerpa recemosa, cream soup instant, vacuum drying oven, utilizatio

IMULASI PENCAMPURAN REAKTAN UNTUK PRODUKSI BIODIESEL PADA REAKTOR BERPENGADUK STATIK
Application of static mixer is expected to enhance yield of biodiesel production and reduce catalyst requirement. Static mixer could increase the mixing effectiveness of oil and methanol, so that FAME yielded at the reactor would increase and could reach the desired level of conversion with lower catalyst requirement.A more in-depth study of the mixing and its relation to the effectiveness of transesterification reactions is indispensable to obtain important parameters which is necessary in process improvement and reactor design. The objective of this study was to examine the flow profile and its relation on mixing of oil and methanol in a continuous type reactor using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Simulation was conducted using five scenarios of mass flow rate in the range of 5-20 L/min for oil and 0.6-2.4 L/min for methanol. It was observed that the static mixer elements can increase the uniformity of vorticity, which indicates that the flow is not only moved on the mainstream (axial direction) but also moves toward the y-axis and the z-axis randomly as well as rotational motion. The uniformity of vorticity along the static mixing reactor provided a better chance of mixing and increase the possibility of reactions between molecules of reactant. PEMODELAN ANTRIAN SISTEM PENGAMBILAN PESANAN PRODUK PADA GUDANG MINUMAN RINGAN DENGAN SISTEM RAK DRIVE-IN
This paper proposed a queue model for beverage order picking system produced from agricultural commodity in warehouse with drive-in rack system in order to analyze and increase the warehouse performance. A (M/M/C):(GD/N/∞) queue approach was used to build the model with the queue approach. This paper considered total operator must-be-assigned to improve queue time (Wq), queue length, and utilization in the warehouse. Stack, queue, linked list, Colour HSB (Hue, Saturation, Brightness) algorithms were used to represent drive-in rack, product queuing, and product status in the warehouses. The model was implemented in computer simulation using java programming. After build the model, a real case industrial problem was presented to test the model. The model could calculate warehouse performance including low performance in racking, transportation to loading area, and loading process for current number of operators and idle operator in the warehouse process. This result was in line with the industry condition that has over capacity and high product bottlenecks in the warehouse. The model was used to find and analyze total operator-must-assigned to increase the warehouse performance. The computer simulation showed colour changing based on density of product stack in queue area. This colour degradation helped for easier understanding and accelerating product status detection (including hold, ready-to-release, and expired beverage products in the warehouse).Keywords:beverage warehousing, drive-in rack, order picking, queue modelling, queueing theor
ANALISIS PENERAPAN PRODUKSI BERSIH PADA BATIK PRINTING IKM BATIK PUSPA KENCANA LAWEYAN SURAKARTA
Cleaner production is a strategy to reduce environmental pollution and also reducing resources consumption. The aim of this research was to choose alternative solutions for the implementation of cleaner production in printed batik in Batik Puspa Kencana Small Medium Enterprise (SME) using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Printed batik production in Batik Puspa Kencana SME produces environmental waste in the form of over consumption of energy, water and raw materials; disposal of wastewater directly into the river; and the use of chemical dyes that are harmful to human health and the environment. Identification of the problem used Ergonomic Checklist for Cleaner Production, which consisted of energy usage in general, water usage in general, material and chemical substance usage in general, and also prevention of pollution and waste in general. Then, determination of the causes of the problem used Fishbone diagram and 5W1H Method (What, Where, Who, When, Why, and How), so obtained several alternative solutions. The next step wasAHP to determine and assess alternative solutions based on technical, economical and environmental aspects. The result shows that "Just buying dyes are always used" was the best alternative solution to implement cleaner production that can be implemented by the company.
