Get PDFStarting from the moon episode in Orlando Furioso, the essay put in aesthetic and cultural perspective the peculiar way in which Ariosto translates in written form the platonic contrast between Idea and copy. Ariosto is thus integrated into the platonic tradition of the Renaissance, taking into account his links with the cultural environment of Ferrara at the time. A partire dall’episodio lunare del Furioso, si ricostruisce in una prospettiva estetica e storico-culturale il particolare modo in cui Ariosto ha tradotto in forma la contrapposizione platonica fra l’Idea e la copia. Il segreto del fabbricare, la sospensione del testo, la centralità della sillaba, il gioco in tutte le sue declinazioni: questi i temi affrontati da Magrelli nell’intervista che segue. Il poeta non si limita a parlare di poesia, ma apre e attraversa le enciclopedie, avvicina diversi campi del sapere, sfodera la sua cultura, e anche la sua esperienza di traduttore. La volontà di inventare (‘trovare’) si confi-gura come piacere del gioco, con l’assunzione del rischio, e altresì dell’incontro con la sofferen-za. Nell’intervista compaiono anche alcuni riferimenti al suo prossimo libro di poesie, in uscita a gennaio. A chiudere l’intervista, la richiesta di dare un contenuto alle etichette che secondo Valéry catalo-gano l’archivio del cervello umano. Segue una minima antologia portatile di due testi antichi, te-stimoni del consolidato legame tra il gioco e la poesia. La trascrizione, revisionata, riporta una conversazione svoltasi nella casa dell’autore un mattino del settembre 2013.
