    Consumer decision, which is assumed as a student decision is one of the important factors for the existence of college. In this study there is variable cost of education which is one component of instrumental input that is very important in the implementation of education. It can be said that the educational process will not work without cost support. The second variable is promotion can be interpreted as a flow of information persuasion made to direct a person or organization to action to create exchange within the company. And other variables are brand image formed from how the company perform its operational activities, which has a main foundation in terms of service. This is a quantitative research method. Data collection was carried out questioner, Test of validity of instrument was using Product Moment correlation, Hypothesis test used of simple regression. Research results: (1) Have a positive and significant brand image to Interest university student making decision continues study in economics education programs.     Abstract: Perception of Teachers and Student Responses to Social Studies Education Subjects. This study aims to explore the teacher’s perception and students\u27 responses to social studies education subject at junior high school in Sumbawa Regency-NTB. This research uses quantitative descriptive approach with survey research type. Data collection in this study using a questionnaire. 27 junior high schools in three zones of Sumbawa Regency-NTB are 9 junior high schools representing schools in western Sumbawa, 9 junior high schools representing schools in central Sumbawa, and 9 junior high schools representing schools in eastern Sumbawa as samples. Research subjects were 27 teachers of social studies education and 450 students in grade VIII junior high schools of Sumbawa Regency. The results showed, most teachers (74.07%) said that the subjects of social studies education are very easy to teach because the material is directly related to the real conditions in society. While most of the students also had a positive outlook, 82% of the students said that social studies education materials is very easy to understand, 61% of the students said that the social studies education materials were largely shaped memorization, 34% of the students said that the social studies education material was too broad so difficult to master, 90% of students said that the social studies education material is very useful, 93% of students stated very interested in studying social studies education and 74% of students said always taking the time to study the material of social studies.Keywords: Teacher\u27s Perception, Student Responses, and Social Studies Education Subjec

    Peningkatan Pemahaman Akuntansi Dengan Menggunakan Software Zahir

    STMIK IKMI have a student academic test when the students enter to STMIK IKMI, the result of the test is low. Low in this case will explains by categories the students get D 25% C 37% B 0% and all the students can not get A. The research uses kuasi eksperiments method with time series design that collaborate classroom action research. The result of research shows about pre test 1 until 4, the score of pre test 1 about 54,129, the score of pre test 2 about 55,548, the score of pre test 3 about 56,032, the score of pre test 4 about 56,097. Based on Kruskall Walls Test shows Asymp Sig score about 0,986 it means there is no significance differences between student perception for the first time and students understanding the materials. In second part of research the students learn accounting that use zahir accounting software for 6 meetings. In third part of research the students has a post test for 4 meetings and the results are the score of post test 1 62,6456, the results are the score of post test 2 70,065, the results are the score of post test 3 80,032, the results are the score of post test 4 86,742. The research analyze statistic test focus on pre test and post test by Kruskall Wall Test that shows Asymp Sig score about 0,000 it means there is a differences between the result of pre test and post test. This reality shows accounting learning by Zahir software gives the positive effect for improving (upgrading) student understanding about accounting

    The goal of this research is to see whether higher education, population density, infant mortality and GDP per capita has impact on fertility in Indonesia or not. This study used estimates of Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) where the estimated VECM simultaneously contained the analysis of changes in the short term, and also long term. The study also includes granger causality test. Then to estimate the large contribution of independent variables in influencing the dependent variable, variance decomposition test was also included. The results showed there were three independent variables that had a significant influence, including the participation of higher education, population density, and GDP per capita in the long run, while the infant mortality rate did not affect the changes in fertility rates

    Kemampuan bank dalam mencari sumber dana untuk membiayai kegiatannya digambarkan oleh rasio kecukupan modal atau capital adequacy ratio(CAR). Pada prinsipnya kebijakan Basel III memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sektor perbankan untuk menyerap potensi risiko kerugian. Semakin besar nilai CAR maka menggambarkan kemampuan bank dalam menyerap risiko besar. Penerapan manajemen risiko diperlukan untuk dapat mengatasi atau mengelola risiko yang selalu ada dalam aktivitas perbankan termasuk pengawasan internal berbasis risiko dan pengawsan kredit secara memadai, sehingga bank dapat terhindar dari kerugian yang pada akhirnya akan menggerus modal bank. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh rasio likuiditas dan non-perfoming loan terhadap rasio kecukupan modal setelah implementasi basel III di Indonesia dengan periode penelitian selama tahun 2013-2017 pada objek penelitian yaitu bank umum konvensional. Dengan sampel sebanyak 1040 observasi yang dibagi menjadi 52 bank dalam 20 triwulan (5 tahun). Hasil penelitian ini adalah rasio likuiditas yang diproksikan dengan net stable funding ratio (NSFR) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap rasio kecukupan modal dan non-perfoming loan yang diproksikan dengan npl_gross memiliki pengaruh yang negative dan signfikan terhadap rasio kecukupan modal

    Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out on students in class III Pancoranmas 5 Elementary School Depok as many as 30 students consisting of 17 men and 13 women. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of the Social Sciences Subject using media-assisted contextual teaching and learning (CTL) learning models. Media Miniature Natural and Artificial Environment. In pre-cycle learning, the average grade 49 was obtained, which was completed by 8 people or 26.67%, observations of teachers who had the courage and were able to answer the teacher\u27s questions for only 5 students or 16.67%. rose to 68, the complete number of students was 16 or 53.33%, the observations of teachers who were able to answer the teacher\u27s questions correctly reached 16 or 53.33%. Activity Cycle 2, the average grade gain rose significantly to 94, which was completed as much as 28 or 93.34%. The observations of teachers who have the courage and are able to answer the teacher\u27s questions correctly are 29 or 96.67%.     Dalam pelaksanaan aktivitas bisnis, perusahaan harus dapat menggunakan dan mengelola kas dan piutang secara bijaksana agara perusahaan memperoleh keuntungan. Hal ini karena kas dan piutang merupakan unsur aktiva yang paling likuid. Informasi mengenai kas dan piutang sebuah perusahaan dapat berguna untuk mengetahu sejauh mana kemampuan perusahaan menghasilkan keuntungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perputaran kas dan perputaran piutang terhadap tingkat profibilitas yang diwakili oleh return on investment pada perusahaan biro perjalanan wisata yang terdaftar dibursa efek Indonesia selama periode 2010-2015 yang berjumlah 5 perusahaan dengan jumlah sampel 4 perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif verifikatif  yang menggunakan data sekunder atas laporan keuangan perusahaan pada tahun 2010 – 2015 yang diterbitkan oleh perusahaan biro perjalanan wisata yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda pada tingkat signifikansi 4,892%. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan secara parsial kas berpengaruh signifikan dan piutang berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap tingkat profibilitas.     Students are the driving force of the financial industry in the capital market. Students are of special concern in the BEI capital market education program. IDX provides facilities by establishing investment galleries in several universities to support socialization and education programs. At present STKIP PGRI Tulungagung founded the Investment Gallery of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (GI BEI). Through the investment gallery, it is expected to be able to attract more new issuers and increase the number of investors in the capital market from among students and the campus environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of investment motivation on interest in investing in the capital market and the effect of investment knowledge on the interest in investing in the capital market in STKIP PGRI Tulungagung Economics Study Program students. This research uses Partial Least Square (PLS) Data Analysis Technique with three latent variables namely investment motivation, investment knowledge, and investment interest. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is an influence of investment motivation on investment interest. This means that the higher the investment motivation, the more likely it is to increase investment interest with a path coefficient of 0.462 with a T statistics value of 5.170. The test results show that the path coefficient is positive with a value of T statistics> T table (1.64), (2) There is an effect of investment knowledge on investment interest with a path coefficient of 0.456 with a value of T statistics of 4.717. The test results show that the path coefficient is positive with the value T statistics> T table (1.64). The results of the analysis inform the variables that have the greatest path coefficient on investment interest are investment motivation with a path coefficient of 0.462, meaning that investment motivation is the variable that gives the most dominant influence

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis laba bersih dan other comprehensive income dalam memprediksi laba masa depan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2014-2016. Variabel independen yang digunakan yaitu laba bersih dan other comprehemsive income. Komponen other comprehensive income yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengukuran kembali program imbalan pasti, surplus revaluasi asset, keuntungan dan kerugian selisih kurs, dan asset keuangan tersedia untuk dijual. Variabel dependen laba masa depan menggunakan pengukuran laba bersih t+1.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menganalisis data laporan keuangan perusahaan yang telah diaudit yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Proses pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling yang didasarkan pada kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Dari 159 perusahaan manufaktur yang dijadikan populasi penelitian, mendapatkan sebanyak 106 perusahaan yang terpilih sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik regresi data panel dengan software eviews dengan tingkat signifikansi adalah 5%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laba bersih (NI) berpengaruh positif signifikan dalam memprediksi laba masa depan. Kemudian, other comprehensive income (OCI) berpengaruh positif signifikan dalam memprediksi laba masa depan.Kata Kunci : Laba bersih, Other Comprehensive Income, dan Laba Masa Depa
