    ANALYSING THE DETERMINANTS OF ARREARS RATE IN SHARIA MICROFINANCE: CASE STUDY OF BAITUT TAMWIL TAMZIS

    Abstract. This research has purpose to determine is there any statistically significant relationship between some factors of financing (plafon, tenor, main installment, purpose of financing, installment pattern, domain) and arrears rate. The methods used is multi-linear regression and logistic regression. This research uses two methods because the dependent variable could interpreted into two ways, which are continuous and binary. The data used is secondary data from Baitut Tamwil Tamzis database. The data used is financing data that has maximum plafon on Rp10,000,000.00. It consist of independent variable: plafon, tenor, and main installment, domain, purpose of financing, installment pattern. For the dependent variable used is the arrears. The ar rears is categorized into four risk index categories. After performed the multi-linear regression, the variables that have statistically significant relationship are productive financing, Cijerah, and monthly pattern, and after performed the logistic regression, there is one more variable that has statistically significant relationship, which is main installment.Keywords: Arrears, Baitut Tamwil, Determinants, multi-linear regression, logistic regression

    Abstract. Photography industry has flourished in Indonesia, including photo studio company. However, as one of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) also face similar problem commonly occur by MSMEs itself, which is the marketing problem. Angkasa Photo Studio is one of the MSME (Small - Medium Enterprise) companies that move in photography sector. Established in 2013 at Bojong Soang 79th street, Bandung, West Java, Angkasa Photo Studio facing a lot of photo studio competitors that is spread in Bandung City. Among marketing mix, promotion is the part of the marketing mix that can be used to raise awareness about the company. Therefore, this research was intended to resolve the promotion mix (advertising, sales promotion, and personal selling) of Angkasa Photo Studio. Moreover, this research also designed in order to identify the influence of the promotional mix toward the purchase intention of Angkasa Photo Studio that could support the photography quality growth / improvement in the future. The data for this research was collected using Quantitative Method approach through offline and online questionnaire to 200 Indonesian respondents. This study adopts the Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) analysis to see the relationship between promotional mix and purchase intention. The result shows that model of promotional mix and purchase intention is significant.     Abstract. Background: Innovation has become important in every business, especially in startups companies. But not all startups can survive, there are also many startups fail, the common reason why startups failed because of lack in innovation (D’Cunha, 2017). Every business needs to make an innovation in order to have competitive advantage over competitors. In previous studies it has been shown between skills and innovation relationship, Hendarman & Cantner (2017) argued skills are essential for innovation to gain performance of companies. Organizational Learning Culture (OLC) is also consider to maintain innovative behavior. In previous literature many focus on firm level and still limited in individual level related skills and OLC. the author wants to explore the relationship between skills and organizational learning culture that emphasize in individual level in startups companiesMethods: Cross-sectional data of startups companies in Indonesia are used from an online questionnaire survey on startups employees perception related to skills and OLC to individual innovativeness. This survey conduct 281 employees from 65 startups companies in Jakarta and Bandung. Results: Soft skills, hard skills, and organizational learning culture have positive relationship with individual innovativeness in startups companies.     MUSIC STREAMING ADOPTION AND DIGITAL PIRACY CASE STUDY: SPOTIFY

    Abstract. This paper analyze the piracy problem of music streaming, specifically Spotify, in Indonesia. Spotify is an application that provides music and video streaming, which can be found on some Operation System such as Android, Mac, and Windows. One of the goal of streaming music services is to reduce the amount of piracy, as Spotify claimed to be. As of December 2017, Spotify has 157 million users, with 71 million of them are paid users. Ironically, among 71 million Premium users, Spotify has approximately 2 million users accessing their Premium service illegally through unauthorized downloading and other forms of digital piracy. As Spotify just registered the company on the stock market on Tuesday, April 3rd 2018, it would be important to maintain their brand image by reducing piracy. Preventing unauthorized downloading and other forms of digital piracy has been a persistent challenge. Strategies based on deterrence, ethical arguments, or technical measures have been effective, but only to a limited extent. The main objectives of this research is to know whether the adoption of music streaming system in this case Spotify affects digital pirating intention. The data of this research is collected through survey method of 200 Spotify users and analyze by using SEM-PLS. The results shows that perceived ease of use and community facilitation enhance perceived usefulness and enjoyment, which in turns correlates positively towards purchase intention. It is also proven that attitude towards unauthorized downloading, perceived cost of product, peer pressure, and risk and penalties positively correlates with piracy intention.Keywords: Music streaming, Adoption, Digital Piracy, Spotify, SEM-PL

    Abstract.Doing good or just being seen doing well is important for company these past few years. That makes corporate social responsibility as an important thing for company to create a balance between the interest of shareholders and stakeholders. In particular, corporate social responsibility is most effective when employees are actual enactors with the company acting as an enabler. It also can increase the employee engagement. Employee engagement is a concept that is judged to govern volunteer employee efforts, which means when employee have choices, they will go further for the benefit of their organization. Company reputation is one of the employee engagement drivers. Employee as the internal stakeholders has important role. Their perception on company reputation is quite important for the company reputation. Meanwhile, corporate social responsibility related with company reputation. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is one of Stated Owned Enterprise of Indonesia which is growing rapidly in recent years. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) as SOE runs the corporate social responsibility activity. However, the corporate social responsibility activity is only for external parties. This research objective is to find the relationship of corporate social responsibility and employee engagement, the relationship of corporate social responsibility and employees’ perception on corporate social responsibility, and also the relationship of employees’ perception on corporate social responsibility on employee engagement. This research uses the quantitative approach with the number of samples 132 employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Then the author uses the Structural Equation Modeling to analyze the data which shows that there is no influence of corporate social responsibility on employee engagement in PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and also there is no influence of corporate social responsibility on employee’ perception on corporate social responsibility. However there is positive influence of employee perception on corporate social responsibility on employee engagement. This research addressed to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) in order to increase the rate of employee engagement in the company and maximize the benefit of corporate social responsibility for human resource aspect.Keywords: corporate social responsibility, employee engagement, employee perception of corporate social responsibilityÂ

    Abstract.The growth of using internet is increasing rapidly, people also actively use the internet for the selling and shopping purposes. In previous year of 2017, many retailers have expanded their business activity in digital marketing. E-commerce companies have to take the opportunity to enhance their potential consumers by differentiating their marketing strategy againts the competitors. The method of this study uses quantitative method. The quantitative method would be done by distributing online questionnaires to the people who have used Bukalapak at least once. The respondents are collected for the total of 783 people which the data is analyzed using structural equation model (SEM) to define the relationship among variables. The findings discuss perceived benefits of search significantly affects external search effort, external search effort significantly affects perceived risk, overall deal evaluation is significantly affected by perceived benefits of search and perceived risk, and overall deal evaluation significantly affects willingness to buy. To sum up, the objective of exploring shopper decision process in e-commerce marketplace is answered by the findings. Therefore, some results could be renew the previous study about e-commerce marketplace.     THE ANALYSIS RICE PREFERENCE IN BANDUNG

    Abstract. Indonesia is the 3rd largest rice producer in the world with 71 million ton rice production a year and 47 million ton rice consumption a year. Even though the production is bigger than the consumption, 472 hundred ton rice is still imported to Indonesia. The data of the rice imports reveals the failure of the local rice production in fulfilling the consumption of Indonesian society. This is partly due to the society’s preference of rice type which is not met with the type produced locally. This phenomenon also demonstrates that a study of society’s rice preference is significant in achieving the national rice consumption sufficiency. So, This research will address the preference of rice consumer in Bandung by analysing the market structre of rice by in depth interview method and questionnaire deployment to the consumer. Then, all the data from the rice consumer is processed through conjoint analysis and cross tabulation chi square to get the real insight of customer preference.The research find most of the respondent preferred to buy a rice which is white clean color, usual brand,not containing lice, the price is about Rp 9000-Rp 15000, and the type of the rice is Pandan Wangi. For Pandan Wangi itself their willingness to buy is quite high especially their willingness to recommend it to their relatives.This research is important to understand the society\u27s rice preference in Bandung in order to improve the distribution process so that the rice demand can be fulfilled appropriately. Keywords:  rice market structure, rice preference, consumer behavior, Pandan Wangi, conjoint analysi

    Abstract. The development of the game industry, growing drastically by the end of 2014 where demand for hardware and games itself is increasing. Of course, in every process of production and innovation, game developers can not be separated from the role of the customer or player game. The information that come from the customers or game players are quite important because customers who are enjoy and feel certain games, so what is delivered by the customer will affect the improvement in the next version of particular games. Customer service is part of the company that has a role as a bridge between the company and the customers. PT. XYZ, as one of game developers in Indonesia was almost bankrupt because they did not understand the customers’ wants and needs. They just developed the game what they liked. This is a big loss for companies because they did not get enough information about what the customers or game players review about the games. Because of the situations is ever happened in PT. XYZ, the risk management in the customer service division might be able to reduce the generated loss because of the potential problems in the future.  This research was conducted in the customer service department of PT. XYZ to find out the cause of the problems that exist in that section. So, by understanding the prioritization of each problem, it is expected to reduce the impact of the losses that may arise. The results of the data analyzed in this study are AHP calculations, which quantifies the problem to understand the level of urgency in each issue using Expert Choice software as the tool. AHP has a high level of preference and expert taste or respondents. It might be having various results, depending on each respondent. Based on the data analysis, there are 14 issues that could potentially pose a customer service risk. Too many media aspirations become the highest frequency and impact that will occur. It is expected that this research can be used to find out the problems that can affect the company and cause damage.     THE ANALYSIS OF SUPPLIER SELECTION ACTIVITIES ON FRESH FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN IN BANDUNG MART

    Abstract. Background: Supplier is considered one of the most important aspects of running a business. To have a top supplier, the first step company needs to do is to have a proper supplier selection process. The object studied in this research is the vendor selection process of one retail company in Bandung, Indonesia; under the disguised name of Bandung Mart. In Bandung Mart, several suppliers often have hard times to keep up with Bandung Mart’s demand in the middle of the journey, while at the selection process they seem to be capable enough to meet Bandung Mart’s demand. Bandung Mart needs a method of quantification and calculation to justify and support the decision in selecting the supplier. Methods: This research follows the basic research procedure which consists of problem identification, literature review, data collection, data analysis, and conclusion and recommendation. In this case, the author selects weighted-point as the most suitable method to be implemented in Bandung Mart. Results: By using the weighted-point method, the most preferred supplier is generated. The manager is satisfied with the accuracy of the result. Conclusion: Each method has its advantages and disadvantages.     OPINION MINING METHODS IN ASSESSING SERVICE QUALITY: CASE STUDY OF SAUNG ANGKLUNG UDJO

    Abstract. There has been continued research on the definition, modeling, measurement, data collection procedure and data analysis of service quality that lead to the development of base concept for the researchers. However, there are not many researches using opinion mining in qualitative approach from user-generated content website as the main data to measure service quality despite the increasing trend of companies start using internet/websites as marketing tools. This research aims to expand the horizon of knowledge within opinion mining by using qualitative sentiment analysis as the method to assess Saung Angklung Udjo’s quality service. This research used TripAdvisor’s Saung Angklung Udjo review in English and Indonesian as the data with using three polarities (positive, neutral and negative) while the aspects within the sentiment are based on 7Ps. In conclusion, opinion mining method using qualitative sentiment analysis proved to be applicable in assessing service quality of Saung Angklung Udjo.
