SUNDAY SCHOOL’S PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF CHURCH X BANDUNG
No full textAbstract. Sunday school is a service ground that is based on the calling of heart and as a volunteer to serve God. This does not mean that Sunday school is a learning program that there is no foundation of vision and mission. However, teachers should have good self-commitment, competence, and teaching ability that meet the needs of the child. Church X Bandung has a training program set up to foster and support Sunday school teachers, but not running well. Actually the church often thinks that guiding the Sunday school teacher does not really matter, so that provide training with the concept that is not matching on target and the result in the performance or learning process is often happened. Therefore, this study aims to determine the type of competence that should be possessed by the Sunday school teacher and how to develop it in teaching and educating children to make Sunday school performance more running effectively. This research uses narrative method by understanding the perspective of resource based on story (narrative) about Sunday school from teacher, child, parent, and pastor that delivered through interview. The results of the Sunday school performance evaluation show that Sunday school teachers need training to improve the teaching quality. Researchers recommend a solution for Church X to conduct regular training to find out the competencies required of current teachers and how to improve Sunday school\u27s performance.Keywords: Church X Bandung, Competency, Sunday school\u27s performance, Sunday school teacher, Training.Â
SERVICE WAITING TIME ANALYSIS AT REGULAR PHARMACY OF MEDIKA ANTAPANI
No full textAbstract. The services of the public health should be supported by having a proper system and service in the process of operations management. To have optimal workflow, it is important to have the right setup in business process, the work environment and team members. That is a responsibility of the public health to improve the quality to guarantee for patient satisfaction. One of the public health services is in pharmacy installation. Regular Pharmacy of Medika Antapani is the one of the pharmacies in Bandung that provides and sells healthcare equipment, products, and medicine. Regular Pharmacy wants to improve the quality of services to reduce the service waiting time in the system. According to the research, Regular Pharmacy has a high number of demand in peak hour time and has a problem related to the long duration of patient waitin g time. The staff allocation and activities in the business process will be a consideration to increase the service quality. In this research, the staff allocation will be analyzed using iGrafx Simulation. The first step is analyzed the business process in Regular Pharmacy. Then, process time in each activity is needed to know how long the time of existing condition in Pharmacy Services. The recorded time in each process will be used in the IMR Control chart to make sure the data is in-control by using Minitab. The out of control data in IMR chart will be analyzed in Values Analysis to identify the efficiency issues in each activity. Then, the next process is run the Simulation Analysis to obtain the number of average service waiting time and utilization of resource. The output of this research is to reduce the service waiting time and achieve the better utilization of resources to solve the problem in Regular Pharmacy of Medika Antapani.Keywords: Regular Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Service Waiting Time, Values Analysis, Simulation
EMPLOYEE HAPPINESS OF OFFICE BOYS/GIRLS IN AN INDONESIAN BUSINESS SCHOOL: A PHENOMENOLOGICAL STUDY
No full textAbstract.Every person has the right to have their motivation in their every action that their take, including the decision to take a job. They have their own reason why they willing to take an office boy/girl who has a high workload in physical terms. But even so, an office boy/girl has the right to get their own happiness in their working process. And although their job was one of the job that in the lowest status, they still could do their job while show their smile and throwing a jokes to their co-workers. The researcher purpose in this research was to more explore office boys/girls happiness in their workplace. The author was using phenomenology method as for this research that took a study case in an Indonesian Business School. The researcher used phenomenology for this research with the intention of find out the essence of experiences and increase of happiness level of office boy/girl who work in an Indonesian Business School. At the end, office boy/girl experiences area, and their relationship with other parties had significant impact to their level of happiness. UNDERSTANDING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING COSPLAY TO RAISE BRAND ATTRACTIVENESS IN INDONESIA’S COMIC INDUSTRY
No full textAbstract. Creative Industries refers to a range of economic activities which are concerned with the generation or exploitation of knowledge and information. People suggests that "human creativity is the ultimate economic resource†and "the industries of the twenty-first century will depend increasingly on the generation of knowledge through creativity and innovationâ€. Indonesia’s creative industry, specifically comic industry, have been on a more stable rise nowadays. Cosplay become a common phenomenon in Indonesia. Cosplay itself is an act in which people wear costume and accessories to represent specific characters. The practitioners are called cosplayer. This research is intended to understand the effectiveness of using cosplay to raise brand attractiveness. This research uses in-depth interview, to gain information regarding the topic from selected informants of three categories: creator/publisher, cosplayer, and customer. It was found that this method is indeed effective and there are factors supporting it such as: cosplay attracts people’s attention/visitor, profile of the cosplayer, the similarity between the cosplayer and the character, and the design of the character itself. ANALYSIS OF FARMERS COMPETENCIES IN PANGGUNGREJO UTARA
No full textAbstract. Background - Competency is ability, knowledge, and skill of people in some condition. In the agricultural sector, competency can classify in technical skill, managerial skill, and entrepreneurial skill of farmers. The technical skill there are planting, fertilization, irrigation, control pest and diseases, harvesting and also post-harvesting. Other than technical skill, managerial skill also can categorize in planning, networking, and managing finances. Sales strategy also used for main concern in the gap of the crop. On entrepreneurial, there are taking a risk for farmers, opportunity in the cocoa field, creativity and also problem introspection. Objective - The study aim to analyze the competency of farmers and clustering farmers based on their skill. Method - The clustering of competency has objective to improve farmer’s skill and increasing the cocoa crop. So, because of that, cluster analysis is used to the research methodology. Result - The result of the method is farmers have 3 clusters. Each of cluster has different of characters. Cluster 1 is farmers with technical skill, managerial skill and entrepreneurial skill lower than other farmers in cluster 2 and 3. Cluster 2 are farmers that have high managerial skill than cluster 1 and cluster 3. And for cluster 3 are farmers with high competency in entrepreneur skill and technical skill but for the managerial skill is medium skill, almost same with cluster 1.. Conclusion - To increase crop in their farming, farmers must improve their competency. The solution that can do with the discussion and telling experience in farming. CONDUCTING JOB ANALYSIS OF “MUST EVAN’S COMPANY†TO REDUCE UNBALANCE JOB BETWEEN THE WORKERS

Apparel industry is a potential industry in Indonesia because it can be seen by its stagnant growth revenue towards improvement of gross domestic product Indonesia on the last 5 years. As one of the apparel company which contribute to those growth, Must Evan’s must have a good management team in order to maintain the sustainability of company’s performance. But from the interview result toward an employee in Must Evan’s, Preliminary research done at head quarter of Must Evan’s showed that it seems like there is an unbalance job responsibility between one employee and the other employee. Moreover, preliminary research done to several employees in Must Evan’s showed that majority of the employees are not satisfy with the division of work in Must Evan’s. Most of them said that it happened because they often doing work that is not accordance with the division. Therefore, this research aims to improve satisfaction of employee at Must Evan’s by help them understand the duties that need to be done. This can be done by conducting job analysis for this company, since there is no job list at all could become their guideline in doing a duties. This research using some interview result and some secondary data such as organization structure in order to conduct job description and job specification clearly. Researcher using Spencer and Spencer dictionary as a tool for determine the competencies needed by company to be a part of its job specification. The result of job analysis was compared to the current job that is done in Must Evan’s and it turns out that there are some positions that having overlap duties and some job division gave unfair job toward one workers and the other workers. However, with the new job analysis, it could reduce employee’s ignorance about the duties to be done. With this result of job analysis research, the result is may not be able to be used by other similar apparel company. ANALYSIS OF QUEUING SYSTEM AT IMMIGRATION OFFICE CLASS II CIREBON
No full textAbstrack. In daily activities, people often meet with queuing activity. Queue that often found is payment at mall cashier, buying a movie ticket at CGV, public toilet, Toll exit payment, and queuing at Teller Bank. The queuing line also happens in process making of passport. Passport is an official document issued by an authorized official of a country which contains the identity of the holder and is applicable to travel between countries. The passport is processed at the immigration office. The Immigration Office is a technical implementing unit performing the functions of the Directorate General of Immigration in a certain area or city and an Immigration Office may serve one or more districts and municipalities (General of Immigration, 2014). Immigration office class II Cirebon serves at least 4 districts and municipalities around Cirebon, like Cirebon, Indramayu, Kuningan, and Majalengka. Because of that, there is a long queue line of making a regular passport at the immigration office class II Cirebon. Long queue line can be seen in the taking queue numbers of customer service counters and interview and photo counter of the applicants until served. Waiting room capacity also cannot accommodate the numbers of registered applicants, so that many of them waiting in the parking area and canteen area of immigration office class II Cirebon until served. This research has a purpose of analyzing the queuing system of making regular passport at immigration office class II Cirebon. Queuing system used at immigration office class II Cirebon is model B (M / M / S). The process of data analysis using Microsoft Excel. Data from this research is obtained from the interview and observation. The results of this study indicate that the performance of the queuing system that is used today is not optimal because there are still many customers who queue especially at the interview and photo counters because they must wait for 36 minutes from the maximum standard of waiting 20 minutes. Therefore, the researcher suggests adding one more counter at the interview and photo counters so that the average customer time to wait becomes 14 minutes. Another suggestion is to make the information center counter because in April 2017 the average percentage of applicants who were rejected at the customer service counter by 31%.Keywords: Immigration office class II Cirebon, queuing system, model B (M/M/S)

Nawa Cita is a program that made by President of Republic Indonesia, Bapak Joko Widodo, this program aims to transform Indonesia into a politically sovereign country, which is independent in economy and culture’s personality. Strengthening the regions and rurals in municipal is the strategy to make this program can be implemented. One of criterion that can be used to strengthen the rural development is rural index. There are not only 3 dimensions developing rural index that affect rural development include social, economy and ecology, but also local government is a factor in the process of developing rural area. Local governments can provide enormous benefits for rural development if the factors can be managed appropriately. So, this research is aimed to find rurals that have been effcient and have not been efficient in managing local government factors. The objects of this research are 345 rurals in municipal in Indonesia.
