    EFFECT OF FMCG PRODUCT PACKAGING TO CONSUMER PURCHASE DECISION

    Abstract. Indonesia’s Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is considered to be one of the most attractive industries with over USD 10 billion in sales. As the competition is become more stringent, marketers began to use packaging as a marketing communication and promotion tools and pay more attention to the element of packaging that would attract customer and affecting their purchase decision. This research aims to explore the elements of packaging which have the most significant part on impacting consumers purchase decision. The element of packaging examined in this research are packaging color, background image, packaging material, packaging design, printed information, and innovation. The data for this research were collected by distributing the questionnaire to a required respondents. The result show that there is a significant effect between the element of packaging to consumer purchase decision. From six packaging element, packaging material and printed information is believed as the most significance elements on impacting consumer purchase decision. All the marketers should pay attention for a good quality of packaging and set the packaging standard and implement it for a better protection and promotion for a product. Keywords:  Packaging, Purchase Decision, FMCG product, Packaging Design, Element of Packagin

    Abstract. Sahabat retail store is one of retail store located in Jambi province. This store has build in 1991 by Mr. Anditoni. This store has 3 level of building with 5m width and 17m length. This retail has sold nine categories of products, which are, bed cover, sarong, batik sarong, women pray kit, prayer rugs, blanket, mosquito net, bolster case, and pillowcase. This store got the item from suppliers that located in Jakarta. Until 2016, this store not has a good cost management. Because of this by doing cost analysis of sahabat retail store especially in 2016, it will help the owner made a good cost management for the future. As the result of the analysis, this store has revenue Rp.506.272.000. in 2016; this store also spent Rp.495.317.027 as cost. This cost divided into 2 kinds, operational cost, and merchandise cost. Operational costs take Rp.183.827.027 and merchandise cost take Rp.311.490.000. In 2016, the store has BEP level 3.932 unit and Rp.474.792.055 for BEP level in Rupiah. They have reached their BEP level in 2016. The unit cost of each product is in table 3, the range between Rp.15.902 to Rp.389.588.     Abstract. Institut Teknologi Bandung is one of the institution in Indonesia that provide a student organization to help their student increasing their social life. There is an oldest choir organization student; it is Paduan Suara Mahasiswa (PSM) ITB.  They already get many achievements in national and international level. It make them famous student organization in ITB, that is why the applicant that registered in PSM-ITB can achieve 300 applicant every year. However, there is high member turnover in PSM-ITB every year. Turnover intention can be caused by various reason; further research said that individual have a key role in desire to remain the job. It make human resource management practices take a part of the turnover intention. Nevertheless, from the entire human resource management practices, the root the psychological contract that effect the turnover intention is recruitment system (Rousseau, 1994). Recruitment system  have four factor that affect the successfulness, it is source distribution, new hire quality, time to fill and cost per hire. Purpose of this research is to understand the factor in recruitment system that related with the turnover intention in PSM-ITB. This research is using qualitative approach. For the analysis researcher using thematic framework. Background: This research aims to find out the influence of perceived organizational support to job satisfaction components with the respondents from PT Global Transportation’s taxi-bike drivers.     IMPROVING EMPLOYEE VALUE PROPOSITION IN PT. NMH

    Abstract. Background: This research aims to construct driver variables of employee value proposition, on what level each variables has an effect to employee value proposition, and what is the weaknesses of that variable of employee value proposition in PT NMH. Methods: This research used method based on exploratory study then building conceptual model of EVP and create questionnaire design afterward. In collecting the data, questionnaires distributed to 195 employees from 14 divisions in PT. NMH using sampling method. Result: The result of analysis factor Principal Component Analysis found new variables that there are seven variables which effect to employee value proposition, consists of; leadership, company image, communication and working environment, compensation and allowances, opportunity, job, and vision. Based on descriptive analysis found that job has the lowest average score, and the weaknesses of this variable is about “The job as desired†it defined that employees in PT. NMH did not get the job as they wants to get when they choose to work in the company. Conclusion: Based on the result of factor analysis and descriptive analysis that PT. NMH have to concern in Job factors especially in job demands and job resources.Keywords: employee value proposition, driver variable of employee value proposition, PT. NM

    Abstract. Rutan Kelas 1 Bandung, as one of the Penitentiary, has one of the training places for the prisoners\u27 entrepreneurial training called Bimker Rutan Kelas 1 Bandung. Preliminary research conducted in Bimker shows if there is a complaint from head manager related to the training activities undertaken by the participants. The manager felt that there was a discrepancy between the activities in entrepreneurship training with the purpose of the training being carried out. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors causing the discrepancy between training activities with training objectives and understand and find solutions so that training can run effectively. This research uses the narrative method by understanding the perspective of resource based on the story (narrative) about entrepreneurship training delivered through the interview. The results of the evaluation of entrepreneurship training show that if trainees succeed in improving technical skills in certain areas of expertise, they feel that their entrepreneurial competence has not increased. Then the need for entrepreneurship training in Bimker is training for debriefing entrepreneurial competencies. The researcher recommends the solution for the training to be done with off-the-job training method in order to increase the entrepreneurship competence of the participants and they can show entrepreneurial activity with the competence they have. Keywords:  Bimker Rutan Kelas 1 Bandung, entrepreneurship, inmates, training, training effectivenes

    BANDUNG CITIZEN INTENTION TO PURCHASE ON CHOCOLATE BASED ON ITS’ PACKAGING GRAPHICAL ELEMENTS

    Abstract.Background – Indonesia is the third largest cacao producer in the world. However, chocolate consumption inside the country is still low. Packaging is a reliable promotional strategy in the retail environment to attract customers. By using a combination of graphical elements, it may promote product appeal and may influence purchase intention. Methods - The graphical elements in this study are color, typography, graphical shapes, and images that become independent variable and purchase intention become dependent variable. 273 respondents who are domiciled in Bandung are obtained as primary data. To know the effect of independent variable   to   dependent   variable,   multiple   linear   regression   is   used.   Result  -   This   study   found   that simultaneously all independent variables are significantly influence dependent variables. Partially, however, the color variables have no significant effect on purchase intention, with the most influential variables are typography, followed by graphical shapes, image, and lasty color. Conclusion – A product information and brand name can be a point for customers to purchase chocolate with an appealing typography, support by a real product picture and a good composition. Color still can attract customer for brand recognition, giving a higher chance for chocolate to be purchased. Keywords: Chocolate, Packaging, Graphical Elements, Purchase Intention.Â

    Abstract. A concept of corporate entrepreneurship corresponds to the increase in growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This concept promotes the ability of employees in creating values within the organization and encourages them to pursue innovative activities. However, managers are still unaware of the role of corporate entrepreneurship and the importance of measuring it. The measurement of corporate entrepreneurship enables management objectively to assess the culture and readiness of the organization to participate in corporate entrepreneurial activities. The author selected Double Deer Music as the research object, a medium enterprise that offers innovation and technology as its main value proposition. Throughout its business model development, the internal organization is stated as the main problem. To overcome the issue, the research methodology used is multi-method, qualitative research and quantitative research using Corporate Entrepreneurship Assessment Instrument (CEAI) by Kuratko, Hornsby and Covin (2014). The result will reveal the current level of corporate entrepreneurship within Double Deer Music. Divisional perception of corporate entrepreneurship within Double Deer Music is also examined.     Abstract. Instagram has become the third most used social media, it now have an amount of 700M user on April 2017. Nowadays, there are countless fashion brands that is using Instagram as one of their platform to gain sells, gain awareness, gaining engagement, etc. There are now 500 million members of the Instagram community and Instagrammers interested in fashion (Instagram data, 2016). In Indonesia, there are many cases with local fashion brand that maintain an aesthetic feeds for their main Instagram account, so many of them come up to a solution by creating a 2nd account, many of them creates 2nd account as their digital catalogue or digital look book of their product. The problem is that there are no basic guideline on creating the 2nd account content that based on the consumer preferences when browsing to look the information they needed. By making an efficient and effective content based on the consumer needs of information to keep the user engagement similar with the brands main account. This research is expected to measure what are the content combination information that the consumer needs with the conjoint analysis. This analysis will use two method which is the qualitative analysis by interview the targeted respondent and the quantitative analysis by using the conjoint analysis method with online and offline questionnaire but will be more focused on the both result of the online and offline.Keywords: Marketing Research, Instagram, Instagram Second Account, Conjoint Analysis, Social Media

    Abstract. As  one  of  the  cooperative that  can  support the  financial inclusion, KSP  Tri  GunaMulya should  have  a  good management team in managing the financial and sustainability of the cooperative’s performance. However, the result of interview that had been conducted on employee of KSP Tri GunaMulya show that there is less conscientious during work because of mixing job between employee. Therefore, this research is conducted to increase the employee performance in KSP Tri GunaMulya with help them to understand the duties and responsibility that need to be done. This can be done through conducting job analysis, since there is unclear job analysis that could make the employee confused about their duties. The current job that had be done in KSP Tri Guna Mulya was compared with the result of job analysis and it show that there are some positions that have overlapping. With the new job analysis, it could be improve performance and reduce the less conscientious of the employee toward their duties and responsibility. This result may not be able to be used to other cooperative.
