The Effect of Listening Quran on Reducing Stress Moderated by Gender
The population of people experiencing stress is increasing. On the other hand, Indonesian society has several religious practices that can reduce stress, one of which is listening to the Quran. Several studies on the effects of listening to the Quran on stress have been carried out, but none have discuss about the gender aspect. In fact, these gender differences play a role in stress, religiosity, and spirituality. This research carried out an quasi experiment by dividing two groups based on gender. Both groups were treated by listening to the Quran Surah al-Insān and reading the translation. The pre-test and post-test were taken using Stress Pilot which can measure stress through tonic respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA). Overall, based on the results of the Wilcoxon test analysis, it is known that Z = -1.1722 and p-value = 0.138. which shows that the reduction in stress is not significant. When the two groups were analyzed separately, very different results were seen. In the male group, treatment actually caused a significant increase in stress (p= 0.034; η2=0.913). Meanwhile, in the female group, treatment caused a significant reduction in stress (p=0.014; η2=0.8250). Different gain scores of the two groups significantly different (p= 0.005; η2=0.808). This result may be explained by other findings that there are differences in solemnity between men and women (p= 0.019; η2=0.651). The higher the subject's solemnity, the sharper the level of stress reduction (r= 0.599; p= 0.034). This shows that solemnity plays a role in this research. Thus, for research and development of Islamic psychotherapy, it can be considered that gender will influence solemnity, then solemnity will help the intervention of listening to the Quran to successfully reduce stress

A small trial with 12 students had a user response rate of 91.02%, rated as excellent. Additionally, the N-Gain score reached 0.8388, classified as high, and the N-Gain percentage was 83.88%, placing it in the effective category. Exploring Mental Health Issues and Online Counseling Preferences Among University Students in East Kalimantan
In Indonesian society, awareness and treatment of mental health conditions such as stress, anxiety, and depression remain limited. During late adolescence, depression and anxiety are the most common mental health disorders among students as they face various academic, social, and personal challenges. This study aims to analyse the prevalence of depression, stress, and anxiety among students and examine their preferences in accessing online counselling services. This research employs a mixed-method approach. Initially, researchers used the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS) to measure the prevalence of mental health disorders among university students. Subsequently, interviews were conducted to explore students' preferences for accessing counselling services. The findings indicate that anxiety is the most prevalent mental health disorder among university students in East Kalimantan. Additionally, the findings indicate that the majority of students have not used the campus's offline counselling services, in part because they are not aware of them or are not readily available. Students' views on online counselling differ, and they have serious worries about data security and privacy. Most respondents prefer conventional counselling due to their comfort with face-to-face interaction, although some favour online counselling for its convenience. This research has implications for university efforts to provide easily accessible and known counselling services for students

The family, especially the role of both parents, serves as the primary environment where a child gains a lot of learning experiences. This research is conducted based on field facts that indicate the ongoing tendency of authoritarian parenting styles by parents towards young children. Four parents are the subjects of this study. Authoritarian parenting patterns are evident when parents teach children about prayer, recitation of the Quran, memorization, as well as guiding them in learning to read and write. The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of authoritarian parenting styles on young children, based on four observed cases. The research method applied is qualitative, using a case study approach, and Urie Brofenbrenner's ecological theory is applied as an analytical tool. The research findings conclude that authoritarian parenting patterns can have both negative and positive impacts. The negative impacts include a lack of independence in children, aggressive behavior, defiance towards parents, a lack of self-confidence, and an inability to express opinions. On the other hand, the positive impacts involve discipline and the achievement of children. Some participants reported long-term trauma and feelings of anger and threat. They committed to reducing hatred and redirecting their focus to positive aspects, acknowledging the harmful effects of nurturing hatred. Relational hatred arises from family conflicts, particularly those involving parents, and social conflicts that induce trauma, emphasizing the crucial role of the family and social environment in prevention and intervention efforts.
