    Profil Self Efficacy dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Matematika Materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Jember

    Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe self efficacy profile to solve mathematics problems material system of linear equations of two variables in eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Jember. This research is a qualitative research and implemented in academic year 2016/2017. Documentary is used in this research as data collection because the researcher collecting data from UTS of student mathematics, test method, and interview method, while the instrument that being used is a mathematics problem test of system of linear equations of two variables (SPLDV) and interview guidelines. Subjects of this research are all eight grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Jember, consisting of 15 male students and 20 female students. The results showed that students' self efficacy is varied. Of the 35 students who are the subject of research, 28 students of whom have a high self-efficacy, while seven other students have a low self-efficacy. In viewing the students’ self efficacy, the researcher uses self efficacy dimension that is the dimension of level, generality, and strength. In dimension of level, almost all of students indicate an attempt to solve problem with different difficulty levels, although there are still 2 students who do not try to do certain problems but in other problems they are still trying to solve (do). In dimension of generality, the mastery of the students in fields be found in the questions also varies. However, most of them show wide field mastery because they are able to solve the given problem. In the strength dimension, the level of students' confidence in solving the problems and their expectations with the correct answers are also varied. Confidence and hope that is within the students mostly adapted to the attemp they do. Students are said to have a high self efficacy when showing the effort to solve problems with different levels of difficulty (level), mastery of the wide field of (generality), and strong confidence and hope that exist in students according to the efforts they do (strength).     Abstract: This research aims to analyze cognitive ability of eight graders in Junior High School 11 Jember viewed from the learning style in solving problems of circle subject. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collection method which were used are questionnaire, test and interview. Research subject is students of VIII A Junior High School 11 Jember which consists of 35 students. Cognitive ability that is observed is cognitive ability based on Bloom’s taxonomy which consists of six levels that are remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create. The research’s result showed that cognitive ability which is possessed by students with visual learning style tend to be able to reach the level of evaluating especially in evaluating relations between two circle. Cognitive ability which is possessed by students with auditorial learning style tend to be able to reach the level of remember especially in recalling circle's elements and recalling  formula of circles' circumference and area. Cognitive ability which is possessed by students with cinestetic learning style tend to be able to reach the level of apply especially in aplicating circle's element in a picture.     Abstract. Metrice dimension with connected resolving set is a minimal cardinality from resolving set on graph G that make metrice representation from every point v on graph G to the resolving set W different each other and every point of resolving set must be  connected  each other.  For  example  G is a  connected  graph  and W  =  {w1,w2,...,wk} are  element of V. for every v∈V, position vectorr (v|W)=(d(v,w1),d(v,w2),...,d(v,wk)) are called metrice representation from v to W. Whenevery different point on V has different metrice representation, so W is called resolving set of G. Minimum cardinality from a resolving set of G for the next is call Metrice dimension of G that has been notation with dim(G). Resolving set of W is said connected if induction subgraph of <W> doesn't have a separated point. Minimum cardinality of connected resolving set from G is called connected resolving set of G that been notation with nr(G). In this research develop Metrice dimension with connected resolving set on special graph of tree specially on star graph, E graph, reguler catepillar graph, reguler banana tree grap hand reguler fireworkgraph. The result from this research is a theorem that indicated minimum cardinality of connected resolving set ornr(G) and how the link between metrice dimension with High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS).     Abstract. The ability of mathematical understanding is one of the purposes in learning activity. By giving understanding that the materials that have been taught to the students is not only as memorizing, but it is more as the students’ understanding in mathematical conceptual, especially in lesson Cube and Cuboids. The ability of understanding is categorized as three levels, they are high, medium, and low understanding. The research shows that of 35 students grouped based on the level the ability understanding mathematical students in accordance with test results obtained with 22 students to the ability of understanding high, 11 students to the ability of understanding and 2 students to the ability of understanding low. The student with high understanding has 4 types, while student who with​ medium level has 2 types, and student with low understanding has only 1 type. Scaffolding that is given to the students is based on the scaffolding characteristics by Roehler and Cantlon, in the stage of mechanical understanding is in characteristics inviting student participation and offering explanations, in the stage of inductive understanding is in characteristics inviting student participation and verifying and clarifying understandings, in the stage of rational understanding is in characteristics inviting student participation and modeling of desired behaviors, while in the stage of intuitive understanding is in characteristics inviting student participation, offering explanations and inviting student to contribute clues. The result of analysis using scaffolding method is the students are more able to understand accurately, but this method is not effective to be used because it spends much time in learning process, so this method will be more effective if it is used outside the learning process or it can be developed by using peer teaching.     Abstract. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The purpose of this study was to identify errors made by students of spatial, moderate, and low visual intelligence in solving math problems. The instrument used is a sheet of spatial visual intelligence test test, a sheet of flat space side wake, and interview guide. The subjects used were 2 students with high spatial visual intelligence, 2 students with medium spatial visual intelligence, and 2 students with low spatial visual intelligence. This grouping is based on the results of a spatial visual intelligence test. The student error indicators used are 5 types, including fact errors, concept errors, operation errors, principle errors, and other errors. Factual errors, operations, and principles merupapakan characteristics of visual intelligence spatial problem solving, while the error of the concept consisting of the error of drawing objects including the characteristics of the imagination and determine the pattern is a pattern search characteristics. Students with high spatial visual intelligence make a mistake of facts and operational errors. Students with spatial visual intelligence are making a mistake of facts, concept errors, operational errors, and other errors. Students with low spatial visual intelligence make a mistake of facts, concept errors, operational errors, principle errors, and other errors. When viewed from the characteristics of spatial visual intelligence, students with high spatial visual intelligence make mistakes on the characteristics of problem solving, students with spatial visual intelligence are making mistakes on the characteristics of imagination, conceptualization, problem solving and pattern searching, as well as students with low spatial visual intelligence performing the same thing.     Abstract.Mathematics learning with cooperative model using STAD type is learning technique which focused on the development of student social skill in the learning activity with teamwork, STAD composed from five stages there is learning material, teamwork, quiz or test, individual score and reward. Comic Learning is a media which can using for anticipate problem when student learn subject material.  Role of polamatics in arithmatics comic is for helping student doing multiplication count quick and precise. This research has purpose to reviewing  applications STAD assisted comic polamatics otherwise to improve activity and student learning result at VII-C classroom, 04 Jember Junior High School . Reasearch type which was used in this research is qualitative descriptive type, Collecting data method has been using in this research is interview and observation. Research instrument using RPP, Comic Polamatics Media, teacher & student observation sheet and question sheet I and II cycle. Based on research result application STAD assisted comic polamatics increasing  activity teacher  and student learning result during learning process.     Abstract. The purpose of this research is to describe process and development result of 4 C's indicators that aligned with curriculum 2013 on the first semester mathematics subject of eighth grade junior high school. 4 C's indicators are indicator of ability that exist in P21 which consist of critical thinking, creative, collaboration and communication. Research type which is used in modified Plomp's development model. Plomp's development phases consists of 4 phase which are, (1) initial investigation phase; (2) designing phase; (3) realisation/ construction phase; (4) test, evaluation, and revision phase. The developed learning materials consist of the number patterns; Cartesian field; Relations and functions; Equation of straight line and sisterm of two linear equations. The development is done by making the 4 C's indicator that aligned with the curriculum 2013. The data collection process is done through product validity test which has been developed by several lecturers and teachers. Validation results were analyzed to conclude that the 4 C's indicator developed was valid after a revision based on the suggestion of some experts with validity criteria greater than or equal to 3.00.     Abstract. In human respiration there are several factors that can affect the speed of air flow. This study describes the effect of initial velocity and Prandtl numbers on the velocity of airflow in the human respiratory system. In this study built airflow equations in the human respiratory system built from the mass continuity equation, changes in momentum and energy using the volume method up. Then made a disctritization of the flow of air circulation in the human respiratory system. Next make the air circulation program on the human respiratory system using MATLAB and FLUENT applications.     Abstract. This research is aimed to produce 4C’s indicators that are synchronal with 2013 curriculum on 1st semester of 9th grade junior high school’s mathematic subject. According to P21, 4C’s abilities are critical thinking, creative, communication, and collaboration. 9th grade material on the first semester consists of 3 chapters; quadratic and square root of number, quadratic equation, and quadratic function. The process of developing indicators in this study has the advantage that the indicators developed also relate to the skills of learners in terms of mastering technology, information and media. So in the 21st century students are expected to improve the ability of high-level thinking as well as technology mastering skills, so that students are able to develop in a competitive future. The research design used in this research is Plomp development model that has been modified and consists of 4 phase; preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, test, evaluation, and revision. The instrument used in this research is 4C’s indicators validation that is synchronic with 2013 curriculum. The data collection process is conducted by using product validity test to some validates. The result of this 4C’s indicators development has 3,89 on validity result coefficient which is accepted in valid interpretation category.
