PELEVELAN KINERJA SISWA BERDASARKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS VII MTS NEGERI JEMBER DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA YANG TEKAIT TEMA KOPI
Abstract. The research aims to describe level of student’s performance based on the seventh grade student’s critical thinking in solving mathematics question with theme coffe. Data analysis is done based on written test (performance task) and interview techniques. The research subject is all of the sevent grade students at MTs Negeri Jember 1 odd semester in 2016-2017 academic year. The students’ performance level consist of novice, apprentice, practitioner and expert with indicators from the eight standard of critical thingking ability according to Bassham. Most students are in standard of Clarity that only can write everything in the problems or questions given by the researcher , but actually they cannot resolve those problems correctly. Meanwhile, the dominant students are the students who belong to novice level and there is no student who belong to expert level. The reason is the students are not used to do the open questions and they are not used to relate the lessons that they have got.

Pengaruh Hasil Belajar Matematika Terhadap Kecerdasan Emosional Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 13 Jember
Abstract This research describse the influence of learning mathematics of emotional intelligence of students of class IX SMP Negeri 13 Jember. The sample in this study were 59 students and the instruments used were test and questionnaire. This research is done by giving math test to get the data of learning result, then to measure the emotional intelligence of the students are asked to fill the questionnaire of emotional intelligence. His emotional types include sadness, joy and happiness. Before the instrument is tested. Analysis of validation data about math test and questionnaire obtained value Va = 2,68 and based on the category of validity level of the instrument. Based on the results of the analysis of the lowest value of 22, the value of the questionnaire included in the excellent category 12 students, good category 46 students and the category is good enough 1 student. From the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is influence of learning result to student’s emotional intelligence. The percentage of influence of learning outcomes on emotional intelligence is 9%. Results of mathematics learning.

IDENTIFIKASI BERPIKIR KRITIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA SUB POKOK BAHASAN ARITMETIKA SOSIAL BERBASIS LINGKUNGAN SISWA KELAS VII MTs NEGERI JEMBER 1
Abstract. This study aims to identify the critical thinking of the seventh grade students of MTs Negeri Jember 1 in solving the mathematics problem sub subject of social arithmetic. The standard of critical thinking used in this study is bassam's that is clarity, precision, accuracy, relevance, consistency, logical correctness, completeness, and fairness. The instruments used in this study are math tests and interview guides. Subjects in this study are students of class VII MTs Negeri Jember 1 semester even in the academic year 2016-2017. In the social arithmetic material of the students of class VII MTs Negeri Jember 1 tends not to meet all the critical thinking standards that Bassam has, but for the matter of applying the selling price of the students of class VII tends to write down what is known and asked, ordinary interest of grade VII students tends not to meet all Bassam's critical thinking standards.

ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA MATEMATIKA BERDASARKAN TAHAPAN NEWMAN BESERTA BENTUK SCAFFOLDING YANG DIBERIKAN
Abstract. This research aims to analyze students error types in solving contextual mathematics problem based on Newman’s error analysis and scaffolding form that’s given to the eight students of Darul Hikmah Junior High School Jember. Instruments that were used in this research are contextual mathematical problem, interview guide, scaffolding guide, and validation sheet. The coeficient validity test is 4,81 and the coeficient validity interview guide is 4,75, so that the criteria of validity research instrumen is valid. Error types student’s according to Newman consists of reading error, comprehension error, transformation error, process skill error, and encoding error. Based on students’ errors, the highest error percentage is comprehension error that's 70,01%, and the lowest error percentage is reading error that’s 20,77%. Generally, the cause of students’ errors is they are not accustomed to solve contextual problems. Scaffolding is a form of help that’s given by the teacher to the students to overcome students’ difficulties when doing a task that can’t be finished by students. Scaffolding that was used in this research refers to Anghileri’s scaffolding level. In scaffolding level 1 (Enviromental Provisions), scaffolding that’s given to students is preparing the learning environment by explaining a little material about Arithmetic Operation Sub Subject of Fraction and giving contextual mathematical problem. Scaffolding that’s given to students with reading error and comprehension error is at level 2 that are reviewing, restructuring, and explaining. Scaffolding that’s given to students with transformation error at level 2 that are reviewing, restructuring, and explaining and level 3 that’s developing conceptual thinking. Scaffolding that’s given to students with process skill error is at level 2 that are reviewing, restructuring, and explaining. Scaffolding that’s given to students with encoding error is at level 2 that are reviewing.

PENGEMBANGAN INDIKATOR 4C’s YANG SELARAS DENGAN KURIKULUM 2013 PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SMA/MA KELAS XI SEMSTER 2
Abstract. This research aims to produce valid 4C’s indicator which is in line with the curriculum of 2013 in mathematics subject of second semester elevent grade of senior high school (SMA/MA). The type of research used is a modified Plomp development model consisting of 4 phases: preliminary investigation, design phase, realization/contruction phase, and test, evaluation and revision phase. The development of this research is the 4C’s indicator which is in line with the curriculum of 2013 in mathematics subjects second semester elevent grade of senior high school (SMA/MA) consisting of 4 chapters, namely: sequence and series, algebraic function limit, algebraic function derivative, and indefinite integral algebra function. The instrument which was used is the validation of 4C’s indicator which is in line with the curriculum of 2013. The results of this development are validated by 5 validators, namely 2 lecturers of Mathematics Education Study Program of Jember University and 3 mathematics teachers of SMAN Arjasa. The results of the development of 4C’s indicator has a coefficient of 3.93 validity results which is categorized as “wellâ€. So the development of 4C’s indiator in line with the curriculum of 2013 in the mathematics subject of second semester elevent grade of senior high school (SMA/MA) has met the criteria of validity.

ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA AKTIVITAS MASYARAKAT PETANI MADURA DI KRANJINGAN SUMBERSARI JEMBER SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR LEMBAR PROYEK SISWA
Abstract.Ethnomathematics is a study in applied science which has a matter of interest in numbers which the operation contains of a truth and a certain rule. The application has been used in the life of cultural groups or social communities. This research aims to describe the activity of Ethnomathematic peasants with paddy as the commodity in KeranjinganMaduranese, in Sumbersari, Jember Regency. The research uses qualitative study which employs ethnographic approach. The researcher collects the field data by interviewing and observing, using triangulation technique –a collecting data technique from the same source with different technique. The subjects of this research are 6 peasants. The result shows that there is Mathematic activity within farming of KeranjinganMaduranese, in Sumbersari, Jember Regency. The research result obtains tools for organizing the seed in order which are called bellak and kencah. The Mathematic activities which have been observed are to count the amount of employees, seeds, and fertilizers based on the land and work time. The activities apply Mathematic proportion law.

PROSES BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS XII MAN 3 JEMBER BERDASARKAN PERKEMBANGAN USIA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA POKOK BAHASAN PELUANG
Abstract. The research is descriptive research qualitative described profile aims to think critically graders xi man 3 jember in resolving math problem with difference in age students different .The subject is done with the snowball throwing up to a whole considered saturated data .From the data analysis , obtained the conclusion that students xii-ipa 1 man 3 jember from 18 years in resolving about opportunities , able to reach all indicators used the focus , reason , inference , situation , clarity and overview .At the age of this students had more pola-pola off other students , students at age it also more detail in working on a about . A student xii-ipa 1 man 3 jember from 17 years in resolving about opportunities , able to reach 5 an indicator of 6 the indicators used the reason , inference , situation , clarity and overview. Students at age it not thorough in doing this is that there is a subject not capable of wrote indicators the focus . A student xii-ipa 1 man 3 jember from 16 years in finish about opportunities , able to reach 5 an indicator of 6 the indicators used the focus , reason , situation , clarity and overview .Same as well as earlier age , students is also not thorough to work thus unable to write indicator to three categories inference .

PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) MATEMATIKA BERORIENTASI SCIENTIFIC APPROACH UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KEMAMPUAN HIGHER ORDER THINKING (HOT) POKOK BAHASAN TRIGONOMETRI PADA SISWA SMA KELAS X
Abstract. Education is one of the factors to the nation's progress. Education is developed through oriented scientific approach. It is acapted in increasing the students thinking ability. Moreover, scientific approach is an approach that trains the students to resolve contextual problems. Therefore, the students ability in resolving the problems can make them in higher order thinking. Especially in implementation of Curriculum 2013 the Student Worksheet (LKS) can cultivate their ability of high order thinking. The purpose of this research is to describe the process and result Development of LKS oriented to scientific approach to improve the higher order thinking ability. The research her use Plomp mode 5 phases, that is preliminary investigation, design, realization, test, evaluation, revision and implementation. The quality achievement criteria of the LKS are validity, practicality and effectiveness. The results of validity data in LKS showed that 3,8 are in a good category, the result of practicality data in LKS showed that the teacher activity during the teaching and learning show is 88,46% in the first meeting, and 92,31% in the second meeting.. The result of effectiveness data in LKS is scored by 1) Student’s activity showed 79% in the first meeting, and 83, 4% in the second meeting; 2) student’s learning outcomes showed 90%; and 3) the result of the student's positive response showed 79% to 86%. Therefore, LKS can be said to be valid, practical and effective. The LKS products are oriented scientific approach with 5M stages and meet higher order thinking level.

PENGEMBANGAN PAKET SOAL MODEL PISA KONTEN CHANGE AND RELATIONSHIP UNTUK MENGUKUR KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN DAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA
Abstract: PISA performance becames one of important eduacation indicator in a country. Indonesia has decided to join PISA since 2000. However the Indonesian PISA result is not surprising enough. Even, in 2012, Indonesian score in PISA lies at the lowest rank, namely 64 out 65 observed country. One of major factor is the teacher knowledge shortages of solving PISA test as well as most of teachers do not know how to develop a PISA-like test. In this paper, we try to develop a PISA-like test and implement it in a small group of students to assess their mathematical reasoning and communication ability. The result show that, from 26 respondents involved in this research, two students achieves on four level, four students achieve on three level, thirteen students achieve on two level, and seven students achieve on one level.

PENGEMBANGAN INDIKATOR 4 C’s YANG SELARAS DENGAN KURIKULUM 2013 PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SMP/MTs KELAS VIII SEMESTER 2
Abstract. This research aims to describe process and development result of 4 C’s indicators that in accordance with curriculum 2013 on the second semester mathematics subject of eighth grade junior high school. The 4 C's indicators is the basic skill that students needed in the 21st century to. According to P21, 4 C’s abilities are critical thinking, creative, collaboration and communication. eighth grade be able to compete in the global community material on the second semester consists of 5 chapters(1) Pythagorean theorem, (2) t circle, (3) flat face three dimentional object, (4) statistics, and (5) opportunities. Research type which is used in modified Plomp's development model consists of 4 phase which are, (1) initial investigation phase; (2) designing phase; (3) realisation/construction phase; (4) test, evaluation, and revision phase. The implementation phase is not used in this research. The data collection process is done through product validity test which has been developed by several lecturers and teachers. Validation result of this 4 C’s indicators development has 3,876 Therefore, it can be concluded the development 4 C’S indicators that in accordance with with 2013 curriculum on the second semester mathematics subject of eighth grade junior high school has been qualified valid criterion.
