KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN SMALB-C NEGERI JEMBER DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PENJUMLAHAN DAN PENGURANGAN ALJABAR MENGGUNAKAN ALAT PERAGA KERTAS ALJABAR
Abstract. The purpose of this research is to describe the writing mathematical communication skills of mild mental retardation students at Jember State SMALB-C solved the problem of addition and subtraction of algebra using algebra paper learning media. The subject used are two students of class x mild mental retardation. Data collection are observation, test and interviews. Observation was carried out during the delivery of the addition and subtraction material of algebra and introducing learning media and giving practice questions. The question of test is algebra addition and subtraction as much as three reserved description and interview to each subject. The result of this research shows that subject has fulfilled of the indicators of NCTM's mathematical communication skills except sub indicator c in question number 2, because the student did not explain the algebra paper learning media attached to the answer sheet and do not write conclusions. In interview, the subject stated that using algebra paper learning media can help and simplify the problem of completing the addition and subtraction of algebra.

ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA PURA MANDARA GIRI SEMERU AGUNG SEBAGAI BAHAN PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA
This research aims to describe the ethnomatematics of carving on the buildings in the Mandara Giri Semeru Agung Temple as geometry transformation learning. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. The data collection methods of this reasearch are observation and interview. The subjects of this reasearch are two temple builders and one religian of Hindu. The results of this reasearch showed that there are etnomatematics on the buildings in the Mandara Giri Semeru Agung Temple and produce summary of the worksheets of students based on ethnomatematics. Waringin Lawang Temple has an element of reflection. Kurung Temple has an element of congruence. Padmanabha has an equilateral triangle shape. Bale Ongkara has a square pyramid roof. Bale Gong has a prismed roof shape. Meru has a pyramid shape. The carvings in various buildings of Pura have reflection elements (reflection on X axis, reflection on Y axis), translations (X-axis and Y-axis translation), and rotation (180 degree rotation through origin). The learning materials obtained in this research is a summary of student worksheets on the geometry transformation, similarity, congruency, plane and space.

PROSES BERPIKIR SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI MATERI BANGUN DATAR SELAMA PEMBELAJARAN KOLABORATIF DI MTs SATU ATAP SILO
Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the thinking process of students in solving the problem of high-level thinking in accordance with predetermined indicators. The high-level thinking problem in this study refers to taxonomy bloom ie C4 (analysis), C5 (evaluation), and C6 (creation). Collaborative learning to enhance students' active role in solving high-order thinking problems. The thinking process of students in geometry in this study can be described based on van Hiele's theory. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. Result of research from 23 students through collaborative learning, got 2 students according to van Hiele thinking level. The data obtained are 1 students who are in the process of thinking level 1 (analysis) and 1 student is in the process of thinking level 2 (informal deduction).

ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA KELAS X DALAM MENYELESAIKAN PERMASALAHAN FUNGSI EKSPONEN DITINJAU DARI GENDER
ABSTRACT. Mathematics is a lesson related to numbers and geometry. Students often have difficulty in solving problems, so that in this research at analysis of error in grade X students of Jenggawah Senior High School to solving the mathematical problem exponent function material, based on the conceptual error consisting of 8 indikators, principle error 6 indikators, and 1 operation error reviewed from gender. The intended gender is male and famale gender. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, the subjects in this research were male and famale students those taken randomly using the snowball sampling method, so that 4 subjects were analyzed. Students are given questions and then interviewed to get more accurate information. The result of the research show that male students experience errors in several types of concept indikators, principal, and operation. Furthermore, famale student only experience error in indikators of concept and principle. On operation errors, famale students do not experience error.

ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA PEMBUATAN PERALATAN DAPUR DI KALIBARU BANYUWANGI SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR SISWA
Abstract. Ethnomatematics is the mathematics that is applied by a group of culture unconsciously. The study is conducted at Kalibaru Banyuwangi. The aim of the study is to to describe ethnomatematics and to make a pack of test questions concerning to ethnomatematics on kitchen equipment craftsmen. The type of this research is qualitative with the ethnographic approach and two subject research. Calculating activity appears when determining the length and width of a body with a certain size, determining the height of the filter location, determining the size of the length for the base and lid, making the net cover, determining the volume of parts, determining wages, and making certain diameters. Measuring activity arises when measuring the location of the filter's height, measuring the length and width of the casing, measuring the length of the radius of the base and lid, and measuring the length of the wire. Designing activity arises when the craftsman makes a ruler, makes a filter hole, makes the nets close, and emerge mathematical concept about two-dimentional figure and three-dimentional figure. Making student teaching materials in the form of a package of test questions with the topic of ethnomatematics on craftsmen in the making of dandang with material to construct curved side spaces.

ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATERI FUNGSI BERDASARKAN KRITERIA WATSON DITINJAU DARI PERBEDAAN GENDER SISWA SMP KELAS VIII
Abstract. The purpose of this research is to analyze student’s errors based on Watson's criteria reviewed from gender. From the results, it can be known the types of student errors, the percentage, and the causes of student’s errors that occur. The research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was done by test and interview. The test are given to the students to find out the types of errors that occur when they complete it. The interview with subjects is done to find out the reason why they did error in completing the test. Subject in this research are 10 students in class VIII C of Junior High School 8 Jember. Five male students and female students. Based on the result of this research, the male students are disposed to do an error omitted data with 13,33%, 13,33% response level conflict, and 16,67% above other. The female students are disposed to do an error omitted conclusion with 24,14%.

PROFIL BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL SEGIEMPAT DAN SEGITIGA
This qualitative reasearch aims to describe on creative thinking of student of SMPN 3 Jember class VIII-D in solving the sum of rectangle and triangle. The subjects consisted of 6 students from class VIII-D 6/2, each students had a high (SK1 and SK2), medium (SK3 and SK4), and low (SK5 and SK6) math skills. Data is collected by test and interview. The result of this research shows that creative thingking of student have been in four indicators, those are fluency, flexibility,originality,and elaboration. This research show that in preparation stage, SK1 belong to TKBK 2 with characteristic able to fulfill aspects of indicators of creative thinkng fluency and flexibility. SK2 belong to TKBK 1 with characteristic able to fulfill aspects of indicators of creative thinking fluency. SK3 belong to TKBK 1 with characteristic able to fulfill aspects of indicators of creative thinking fluency. SK4 belong to TKBK 2 with characteristic able to fulfill aspects of indicators of creative thinkng fluency and flexibility. SK5 belong to TKBK 1 with characteristic able to fulfill aspects of indicators of creative thinking fluency. SK6 belong to TKBK 0 with characteristic of not able meet the four aspects of the indicator of creative thinking.

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA PADA MATERI ARITMETIKA SOSIAL BERBASIS JUMPING TASK DITINJAU DARI GAYA KOGNITIF FIELD DEPENDENT DAN FIELD INDEPENDENT
This study described about the creative thinking ability of the students in SMP Negeri 8 Jember on social arithmetic material based on Jumping Task. The data collection method used were tests, observations and interviews. This study used a description question of social arithmetic material based on jumping task and Group Embadded Figure Test (GEFT) to determine the cognitive style of students. This study was conducted in grade VII G of SMP Negeri 8 Jember with the total number of student was 31. The test questions used use the indicators of creative thinking, they were fluency, flexibility and novelty. After the GEFT test and the creative thinking ability test were done, the research subjects were 6 students. Two students with high creative thinking ability with field dependent cognitive style, two students with moderate creative thinking ability with field dependent and field independent cognitive style, and two students with low field independent creative thinking ability.

ETNOMATEMATIKA PEMBUATAN KERAJINAN TANGAN ANYAMAN BAMBU MASYARAKAT OSING DI DESA GINTANGAN BANYUWANGI SEBAGAI BAHAN AJAR GEOMETRI
Ethnomatematics is the application of mathematics in cultural life. The purpose of this study was to describe ethnomatematics of making woven bamboo handicrafts in the village of Gintangan Banyuwangi. The things obtained in this study were changed in the form of geometric teaching materials, namely the Test Problem Package with the topic of Ethnomatematics. This type of research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data collection methods used are observation and interviews. The subjects of the study were 2 people, namely a foreman making woven bamboo crafts, kukusan, ereg, tenong, and nyiru and a maker of bamboo woven kukusan, ereg, tenong, and nyiru. Ethnomatematics emerged when the woven craftsmen carried out activities to measure, calculate and design. When the process of measuring the thickness of the bamboo sharpener comes the measurement concept using meters (m). During the process of calculating the drying time of bamboo and the amount of bamboo sharpener a comparative concept of value appears. During the design process, the concept of quadrilateral and number sequences emerged. The results of the study are geometry teaching materials in the form of a test test package. PEMODELAN MATEMATIKA PENYEBARAN POLUTAN UDARA DI KAWASAN PLTU MENGGUNAKAN METODE VOLUME HINGGA
The existence of a Steam Power Plant greatly helps human electricity needs.The other side, the existence of the power plant activity has a negative impact on the environment. The use of coal fuel produces an air pollutant. The spread of air pollutants is influenced by interrelated variables. The existence of mathematical modeling as an applied science helps represent a problem from real world situations into mathematical language to find solutions to these problems. Mathematical modeling helps build a mathematical formula that describes the spread of air pollutants with actual conditions without ignoring important factors in the system. The analytical exact solution to the problem of spreading air pollutants is very difficult. Therefore, a numerical method approach is used in the form of a volume up method. In this research a mathematical model was built on the distribution of air pollutants based on momentum and mass quantity equations.
