    Abstract. This research describes about mathematic connection ability in class IX B SMP Negeri 7 Jember subject discussion is statistic. Data collection methods which were used are test and interview.  The research subjects consist of 3 students where one student has high mathematical connection ability, one student has medium mathematical connection ability, and one  student has low mathematical connection ability. Students with high mathematical connections have three indicators of mathematical connection capability. Students with medium mathematical connections have two indicators of mathematical connection capability, and students with low mathematical connection ability do not have the 3 indicators of mathematical connection capability.   Keywords: Mathematic connection ability, statistic, lesson study for learning communit

    The process of combinatorial thinking is one type of thought process that learners must possess. The combinatorical thinking process provides systematic steps in problem solving. This study aims to determine the process of combining student thinking in solving the sequence and series problem. This research is descriptive research with qualitative research. The method used in this research is test and interview. The subject of this study consisted of four students from one classes. Four students represent each level in the combinatorial thinking process. The indicator of the combinatorial thinking process used Students are able to express the concepts of sequence and series, Students are able to explain what is known in the sequence and sequence. Students are able to change the sequence and series into the mathematical sentence. Students are able to write down what is asked in the matter of the line and series, Students are able to solve the problem of sequence and series until the solution or answer, Students are able to answer about the sequence of sequence and series using the concept of sequence and series, Students are able to describe the reason or cause of the answer. Level one students tend to be able to write down what is known and asked questions correctly, second-level students tend to be able to change the known and asked questions at level one with mathematical sentences.     PROFIL BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MODEL TIMSS KONTEN GEOMETRI

    Abstract. This research aims to describe the profile of sudent’s creative thinking skill in solving problems of TIMSS model geometrical content. Indonesian students’ achievement in international mathematics test TIMSS were at low benchmark especially in geometrical content. The reasearch subject were 6 randomly selected students of 64 students from Grade 8A and 8B SMPN 1 Bondowoso. Methods of data collection in this research used tests and interviews. Creative thinking skill aspects are fluency, flexibilty, originality and elaboration. Based on the analysis of the data, the results show that 1 student is categorized as very creative (level 4), 3 students are creative (level 3), and 2 students are categorized as quite creative (level 2). The level 4 student (S3) achieved all aspects as well as fluency, flexibility,originality and elaboration. The student gave variation of answers and interprete problems in different prespectives although he did not often get it. The level 3 students (S1, S4, and S6) can achieve fluency, flexibility, and originality aspect. The level 2 students (S2 and S5) tend to achieve two aspects of creative thinking.   Keywords: Mathematics, TIMSS, Creative Thinking, Geometrical Content.

Vertex r-dynamic coloring of graph G such that the neighbors of any vertex v receive at least min  different colors. The r-dyanamic chromatic number written as . In this research we use edge corona product graph. Edge corona product of G and H as denoted by  Let G and H is simple and connected graph,  is obtained by taking graphs H as many copies edge of graph G and connected graphs H on two vertices edge of G. In this research will also related with creative thinking skills with four aspects as indicator. Those aspects are Fluency, Flexibility, Orisinality, and  Elaboration.     Abstract This research raises the problem of students' problem solving abilities in solving arithmetic sequence and series problems based on the theory of APOS (Action, Process, Object, Schema) in terms of the type of Florence littauer personality. Data collection was obtained from personality type questionnaires, problem solving tests, and interviews. The subject of the study came from 4 students of class XI TKJ 1 of SMK Negeri 2 jember using the snowball sampling method to classify 4 personality types which include sanguinis, koleris, melancholy, and phlegmatic. The results of the analysis of problem solving ability tests and interviews showed that at the stage of action, sanguinis (SS) students could explain smoothly and complete the lack of data on the answer sheet. Koleris students (SK), explained fluently and consistently, melancholy students (SM) could explain correctly even though in answering questions they were still hesitant. Phlegmatic students (SP) are fluent and assertive when explaining the information in the question again. At the process stage, students of SS, SK, SM, and SK managed to find a number pattern and could determine the formula to solve the problem. At the object stage, the four subjects managed to answer correctly even though they used different problem solving processes. At the scheme stage, SS students, SK, SP managed to give the final answer correctly and tried to check the answer again, while the SM students had not managed to answer correctly.  Keyword: problem solving, theory of APOS, personality typ

    ANALISIS LEVEL BERPIKIR SISWA BERDASARKAN TAKSONOMI SOLO DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL CERITA SPLDV DITINJAU DARI TIPE KEPRIBADIAN FLORENCE LITTAUER

    Abstract. This research aims to describe the level thinking of students based on SOLO taxonomy in completing SPLDV story questions in terms of Florence Littauer's personality type. Data was obtained based on the results of questionnaires, tests and interviews. The subjects of this study were class VIII D SMP Negeri 2 Jember. The results showed that students with a sanguinis personality type were 30%  at an unistructural level, 20% at a multistructural level and 50% at a relational level. Students with choleric personality types each 33.33% were at the level of multistructural, relational and extended abstract. Students with a melancholic personality type of 25% are at a multistructural level, 55% at a relational level and 20% at an extended abstract level. Students with a phlegmatic personality type of 15% are on an unistructural level, 35% on a multistructural level, 35% on a relational level and 15% on an extended abstract level.     Abstract. The purpose of this research to describe the ethnomatematics of the Seblang Olehsari Ritual on the concept of geometry. The research method is descriptive qualitative research using ethnography. The Subject of this study is pawang and dancer of Seblang Olehsari. Data collection with survey, observation and intervews. The results showed that ethnomatematics was used by the Osing ethnic in carrying out the Seblang Olehsari ritual, such as: in the design of ritual places, designing dance costumes and dance patterns performed by dancers when trance.     Abstract.The process of thinking is mental activity that experiences disequlibrium, assimilation, accommodation or equilibrium to define, determine decisions and draw conclusions on a geometric problem. The purpose of the study was to determine the thinking process of quadruple cerebral palsy students to define geometric space. This research is a type of descriptive research through a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used are worksheets and interviews. The subject of the study was carried out to 2 students with cerebral palsy who were sitting in class VIII of the Extraordinary Daksa Middle School of the Disabled Children (SMPLB-D YPAC) Kaliwates-Jember. The results showed that both subjects experienced disequilibrium on topic I students' initial knowledge of geometrical space (prisms, beams and cubes), and assimilation on topic II related to similar examples of geometrical space (prisms, beams and cubes), before finally accommodation when paused before answering correctly the questions from the researcher and before retelling the answers that have been written when answering the questions on topic III which is the core of this research, that is knowing the thinking process of students tundaksa cerebral palsy in defining geometric space constructs (beam prisms and cubes).  Keywords: The Process of Thinking, Cerebral Palsy Students, Geometr

    This study to describe the understanding of students 'concepts on problem solving about the geometry of the quadrilateral subject matter in terms of the students' impulsive reflective cognitive style in SMP Negeri 7 Jember. The descriptions of this study were carried out by providing an overview of reflective cognitive-style students and students with impulsive cognitive styles. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, students with reflective cognitive style are able to understand the problem, plan the settlement, solve the problem, and correct it again.
