Light Verbs and Noun Verb Agreement in Hunza Burushaski
The paper introduces the concept of Light Verbs and Noun Verb Agreement in Hunza Burushaski from a native speaker’s perspective and as a student of linguist in preparation for a future detailed study on the complex verb predicates and the general interaction of various types of verbs with six noun classes which produces a very complex notion of verbs in Burushaski. Burushaski is linguist isolate spoken in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. This fascinating language has three distinct dialect groups in Hunza, Nagar and Yasin. This paper introduces two new concepts: light verbs and six noun classes in Burushaski which has not been discussed in the previous researches
Book Review: Muhadarat-e-Seerat
The rationale behind the emergence of the institution of S┘rah indicates the faith, affection and compliance by the Muslims to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace on him). This institution, which started in the first century of Hijrah, has produced a rich multicoloured literature of S┘rah in various languages, which portrays the spiritual, ethical, social, economic and political aspects of Prophets contributions to humanity.  
India-Pakistan : Failed in Field and Across the Table
India and Pakistan are untired soldiers, who despite, many problem, sufferings and turbulence due to intermittent war or war like-situation and continuous tensions, are not ready to give up their decades old animosity. There are various political and non-political groups, who play a sport-spoiler and create hurdles whenever they try to improve their relationship. The two countries have tried many times in past to get the matter of Kashmir bilaterally resolve but due to various unwanted political developments they failed to do so. The political leadership and elites must have a far-sighted approach and resolve Kashmir issue between them, so that the two countries can mutually benefit from the peaceful environment. Bold steps and decisions are needed so they must be taken, without any second thought
An Escape to Takht-e-Bahi (Mardan)
“Do they not travel through the land, so that their hearts (and minds) may thus learn wisdom and their ears may thus learn to hear�.................Juz 17, Sura Hajj (XXII), Verse 46, Quran. I have been trying to find a reason as to why I am so fond of traveling since the time I was a child. The first answer I found was when I was around seven years of age and I happened to read my horoscope, a science which I hardly understood at that tender age; but to my astonishment, I was a Capricorn. Yes, a mountain goat which rises to splendid heights up in the mountains. Other reason I found lately around 4:30 a.m. in the morning was when I happened to read the above verse in the Quran which somehow depicts my quench for traveling and knowledge when the ‘wandering dervish’ that I have come to be known by my friends; realized that my heart is pumped with fresh blood during my newer and crazier escapades to un-beaten tracks & remote locations within the land of the pure i.e. Pakistan
