ANALISIS HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN MENGGUNAKAN LKS BERBASIS POE (PREDICT, OBSERVE, EXPLAIN) BERBANTU PHET SIMULATION
Abstract
This research was carried out to improve students' learning outcomes by using students' worksheet based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain).This research was conducted in class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember in the 2019/2020 school acadenic year. This research used experimental research methods. The instruments used in this study were lesson plan, syllabus, students' worksheet based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain), and post-test question. After analyzing it by comparing with the results of the daily chapter of the previous chapter, it was found that the test scores using LKS based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) were higher compared to conventional learning . Thus it can be concluded that class given treatment in the form of learning by using students' worksheet based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) has a significant effect on the students' learning outcomes compared to class with conventional learning.

TINGKAT KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA PADA MATERI FLUIDA DINAMIS
ABSTRACTOne of the goals of learning physics in schools is to improve students' criticalthinking skill. Critical thinking ability is the ability of the students in the process ofthinking in solving a problem in detail. By knowing the level of critical thinking it self,students can do introspection and have the desire and motivation to change for thebetter. In addition, students can also prepare for future exams such as nationalexamination as well as college entrance exam. As for the teacher, by knowing the levelof critical thinking skill of the students, the physics teachers can make it as a referenceto determine the learning strategy that will be used next. Therefore, it is necessary toidentify the level of critical thinking ability. The research method used is descriptiveresearch. The subjects of the study were students of grade XI IPA SMA. The datacollection method used is a test of description. The results of the study showed thatthe level of critical thinking ability of 18.63% of students were on a very highcategory, 42.16% of students were on a high category, 29.41% of students were in thecategory medium, 9.80% of students were on a low category, and no students were invery low category.Keywords: Physics, fluid dynamic, critical thinkin
MODEL LEARNING CYCLE 5E DALAM PEMBELAJARAN FLUIDA DINAMIS DI SMA (KAJIAN PADA KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DAN HASIL BELAJAR)
AbstractThis research focused on the implementation of Learning Cycle 5E model indynamic fluid learning to students in grade XI. This research aimed to describe thescience process skills during use Learning Cycle 5E model and to determine theeffects of it to students’ cognitive achievement. The type of the research wasexperimental using post-test only control group design. Population were students ofclass XI MIPA in SMAN 2 Jember. Sample based on homogeneity test were class XIMIPA 1 as experiment class and XI MIPA 2 as control class. Data of science processskills was collected by using observation and students worksheet documentation.Science process skills was analyzed as descriptive with percentage analysis. Data ofstudents cognitive achievements were collected by using score of post-test. Theinfluence of Learning Cycle 5E model to students achievement was analyzed with ttest using SPSS 24. The results showed that the percentage of science process skillsin class XI MIPA 1 was 94,5%. There was a significant difference of students’cognitive achievement in experiment class and control class. This research can beconcluded: (1) students’ science process skill during learning process was very good;(2) the model significantly influenced to students’ cognitive achievement of dynamicfluid at grade XI MIPA 1 in SMAN 2 Jember .Key word: Learning Cycle 5E model, science process skills, student achievement
PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERBASIS KOLABORATIF UNTUK MENGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA SISWA DI MAN 3 JEMBER
Learning is a relatively permanent process of change resulting from experience. While the teaching materials can help students to be actively involved in learning activities one of them is the student worksheet (LKS). Student Worksheet (LKS) can be used as teaching materials that make students more active. Collaborative learning process can facilitate students in learning, each group member can learn from each other, even teachers can learn from their students. While the science process skill is a set of skills used in conducting investigations to find concepts, principles or theories. The purpose of his research was intended to know the validity of LKS, effectiveness of learning out came, and ability of science process skill after using LKS. Based on data analysis that LKS (Student Worksheet) was disseminated in valid category is 4.06. The effectiveness of LKS with amounting to 35 students with the average pre-test value 46.45 and posttest 75.72. Data analysis of both pre-test and post-test data in N-gain test show that significant result that is 0.5 with moderate criterion in science skill skill of XI IPA I MAN 3 Jember.Key words: Collaborative Learning, LKS, Process Science Skills
ANALISIS INTENSITAS MEDAN MAGNET EXTREMELY LOW FREQUENCY (ELF) DI SEKITAR LAPTOP
Research on the analysis of the magnetic field intensity Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) around laptop is important method to prevent the impact of disease risks caused by electromagnetic field radiation and evaluation of the safety level of environmental radiation by magnetic field ELF. The instrument used to measure the magnetic field intensity EMR tester GM 3120 is capable of measuring magnetic fields start from 0,01-19,99 μT, the results of the intensity of exposure to magnetic fields measured by different power in six position and two condition (On and Stanby menuju Off). The distance of measurement is 30 cm. the distance is selected because it is based on the normal people’s eye reading distance. Results of correlation data are analyzed using correlation pearson by IBM SPSS Statistic 23. The result showed that the processor power by type was directly proportional with the magnetic field intensity. If power higher so magnetic field will be bigger, and if power lower so magnetic field will be smaller. The magnetic field intensity value on the Stanby menuju Off condition was decreased. PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMA
In this 21st century, through the study of science is expected to guide the students meet 21st century skills. One of the skills that must be mastered is the ability to think critically. It is necessary for effective learning in order to deliver the students to achieve the critical thinking skills. Inquiry model train students to solve problems, make decisions, gain critical thinking skills in analyzing information. In the guided inquiry learning model student plays an active role in doing practical work to solve problems, while teachers could help students if students have problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model on critical thinking skills. Analysis of the data used ins this study is statistic test using test independent sample t-test. Results from this study is the average value of critical thinking skills through post-test 67 in the experimental class and 62.5 in the control class. 1-tailed significance value of statistical test by independent sample T-test of 0.0025, meaning that guided inquiry learning model significantly influence students' critical thinking skills.Key word: Education, Critical Thinking, Guided Inquir
PENGEMBANGAN LKS (LEMBAR KERJA SISWA) BERBANTUAN SIMULASI PhET PADA MATERI GETARAN HARMONIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PADA SISWA SMA
The aim of this research was to exmine the validity of LKS, examined the great improvement of critical thinking skills and examined the students’ responses to LKS. The development model of this research used Borg and Gall's which summarized into four stages: (1) preliminary study, (2) initial product development, (3) revision and validation, and (4) empirical and final product testing. The respondents of this study were the tenth grade students of SMAN Balung, and the total number was 34 students. Data collection techniques were obtained from observations, tests and questionnaires. The results exhibit that the LKS assisted by PhET simulation included in the validity category that is valid, with a large value of expert validation is 78,6% and user validation is 83,3%. Data analysis techniques of critical thingking skill by using N-gain obtained big increase to 0,51 which is included in moderte criterion. Futhermore, the last data collection technique was by questionnaires to obtain the students’ learning responses data using LKS assisted by PhET simulation. Data collection using percentage, the result obtained form thr average of all indicators obtained to 94% which come into very positive category. PENGEMBANGAN LKS IPA BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL KOPI PADA POKOK BAHASAN USAHA DAN ENERGI DI SMP
AbstractThe purpose research and development of students worksheets science based onlocal wisdom of coffee on the subject effort and energy were described validity of product,described critical thinking skill of students and described students response. Thisworksheets arranged with indicators of critical thinking were interpretation, analysis,inference, evaluation, explanation, and self regulation. The design of this research anddevelopment by Sugiyono that was (1) potential and problem, (2) data collection, (3) theproduct design, (4) validation design, (5) revision design, (6) testing products, and (7)revision products. The techniques of data collection were validity, test, questionnaire,and documentation. The result showed that (1) the students worksheets science based onlocal wisdom of coffee was very valid and value of validation 86,43 % it can be usedwithout revision; (2) the students worksheets science based on local wisdom of coffee waseffective to increase critical thinking skill of students and value indicators of criticalthinking skill 72,99 % with good predicate, and N-gain value 0,47 with medium category;and (3) the students worksheets science based on local wisdom of coffee was verypractically to students and the value of students response 85,98% with very goodcategory.Key word: local wisdom, validity, critical thinking, students respons
MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COLLABORATIVE CREATIVITY (CC) BERBANTUAN VIRTUAL LABORATORY PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA DI SMA
Collaborative Creativitiy (CC) intructional model is instructional model to training student’s physics concept and scientific process skill with apply CC which describe procedures systematically and used to guide teachers to help students how to identify problems, exploring creative ideas, collaborative creativity, elaboration, and evaluation of physics concept and scientific process skill. The implementation of the instructional model will be more effectively done by utilizing the media realized in computer tecnology. The type of this research was an experimental research by post-test control group design. Population of the research was all student’s at SMAN 1 Pakusari. The technique to collect data was documentation, observation, interview, and tests.The results of this research were the averaage of student’s science process skills was 90,04% (good criteria) and the significant difference on the physics concept of student was 0,002 using T-Test SPSS 23. This reseacrh can be concluded: first, the average of student’s science process skills is in good criteria. Secondly, threre is a significant difference in concept governance of students who use Collaborative Creativitiy with Virtual Laboratory and who do not use Collaborative Creativitiy with Virtual Laboratory.Key word: Collaborative Creativity, Physics Concept, and Scientific Process Skill
PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR FISIKA BERUPA BUKU BERBASISREACT (RELATING, EXPERIENCING, APPLYING, COOPERATING, AND TRANSFERRING) PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA DI SMA
Abstract REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring) was one of teach model in contextualization proposed by Michael L. Crawford.Therefore, this research was focused on the development of teaching materials basedon REACT in learning physics for Senior High School. A product produced by thisresearch is the students’ book. The purpose of this study to determine the validity ofbook, describing effectiveness and student’s response after using teaching materialbased on REACT. The research used research and development (R&D) model with theprocedure claimed by Borg and Gall, which was modified into four phase, namely:1)research and information gathering, 2)planning, 3)development of initial design ofproduct,until 4)initial field experiment. Data result analyzed by descriptive qualitativemethod and quantitative descriptive. The results of this research indicates that theteaching materials based on REACT was very good with validity 90,02%. Meanwhile,teaching materials in the form of teaching material-based on REACT has mediumvalue N-Gain amount 0,69 ,but student gives good response with 84,41% positive toteaching materials based on REACT.Key word: teaching materials based on REACT, validity, effectiveness, response
