    The goal of this research improve the ability of the scientific work and studentlearning outcomes in physics instruction on the subject of heat by using the model ofguided inquiry. The subjects of this research are students of VIIC SMP Negeri 1 TapenBondowoso with 45 students. The results showed that the students’ scientific work increasefrom 68.08% to 80.13% in cycle 1 and 86.10% in cycle 2. Learning outcomes of studentalso had a marked increase with increasing thoughness physics student learning outcomesof 40.00% to 68.88% in cycle 1 and 77.77% in cycle 2

The subject in this research is students of class VIII-C bilingual SMP Negeri 3 Jember and the researcher themselves who is student in Jember University. This research is a research action that use a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on these result can be concluded that implementation of applicated learning model TGT (Teams Games Tournament) with experiment approach based character can improve student activity, students learning outcames, and character of student.     The increase in Indonesia's development activities increases people's consumption of more quality construction materials and is easy to reach in terms of price. Building materials with good quality can improve the quality of building construction. The increasing need of the community for building materials triggered the development of the brick-making industry. Redbrick is an element of building used in building construction made from clay base material with or without other mixed materials. This research is a type of experimental research. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the composition of the addition of corn bark ash and ash corn cob appropriately to produce the quality of bricks with high compressive strength, low water absorption, and large density. Additional materials in this study in the form of corn bark ash and ash corn cob. The quality of red bricks is seen from three aspects, namely compressive strength, water absorption, and density. The largest compressive strength was obtained in the addition of ash corn cob by 2.5% by 37.2 Kg/Cm2 and the compressive strength of 49.5 Kg/Cm2 on the addition of corn skin ash by 2.5%. Water absorption measurement of all types of red bricks the results of the study showed all the results of water absorption is not eligible sni. The highest density was obtained from a mixture of 2.5% ash corn cob material of 17.5 gr/Cm3. the best composition to produce bricks with strong compressive value and high density and have low water absorption is 2.5% addition of ash corn cob and the addition of 2.5% corn skin ash.     Student worksheet of rectiliniear motion based on process picture is the way of clarifying Physics phenomenons by providing the steps of process pictures with some questions as the stimulation for each Physics concept. This research was intended to know the language level of the students’ worksheet, the graphical level of the students’ worksheet, the content expediency of the students’ worksheet as well as the validity of the students’ worksheet. This research refered to the developmental research through ADDIE developmental design. The data collection methods in this research were the logical and empirical validity, the assessment of students’ worksheet, and test. Analysis data that used determining level of student concept understanding, logic validity, and empiric validity. The research result showed that the graphical level of the students’ worksheet was valid or high; the language level of the students’ worksheet was valid or high; the content expediency of the students’ worksheet was valid or high; and Student worksheet of rectiliniear motion based on process picture was a valid learning media

    This research focuses on implementation guided discovery model. The purpose of this research are:(1) to study the influence of guided discovery model to the student’s science process skills class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk, and (2) to study the influence of guided discovery model to the student’s science-physic achievement class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk. This study is experimental research by post-test only control group design.  The techniqueof data collection were observation, documentation, interview and test. The data are analyzed by using t-test. The hypothesis of this study are that; 1) the guided discovery model signicantly influences to the student’s science process skills class VII SMP Negeri 1 Jelbuk, and 2) the guided discovery model significantly influences to the student’s science-physic achievement class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk. Results of this study are, 1) the psignificance value of science process skillsis 0,002£ 0,05  is outside the acceptance of Ha; 2) the psignificance value of science-physic achievement is 0,001£ 0,05 is outside the acceptance ofHa. Conclusions for this research are: (1) guided discovery model significantly influences to the student’s science process skillsclass VII SMP Negeri 1 jelbuk, and (2) guided discovery model significantly influences to the student’s science-physic achievement class VII SMP Negeri  1 Jelbuk

    MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP FISIKA SISWA SMK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

    This study aims to determine comprehension of physics concepts between the students who studied using the Experiential Learning model and students who studied using the Direct Instructions model. The populatoin of this study was a class XI student of SMK Farmasi Jember. The sample was the XI.B grade students of 32 as a experimental group and the XI.A  students of 34 as an control group. The experimental group was given Experiential Learning model and the control group was given the Direct Instructions model. The research instrument was essay tests which was based on three indicators of concepts comprehension, those were: translation, interpretation, and extrapolation measuring the student’s comprehension of physics concepts; and questionnaire which was based on indicators of learning motivation, those were: interest and attention, enthusiasm for learning, responsibility, sense of fun, student reaction to measure student’s motivation during the learning activity using  Experiential Learning model.  The data were analyzed by using t – test. Result of this study were, 1) student’s motivation using the model of Experiential Learning in the range 72%  78,47 %   86% classified as Motivated; 2) the significance value of concepts comprehension was 0,001 < 0,05  was outside the acceptance of Ha. This study can be concluded that; 1) learning of physics by using a model of Experiential Learning in SMK Farmasi Jember have a positive impact on student’s motivation with the average percentage of each indicator were included in the Motivated criteria; 2) there was a significant difference in the comprehension of physics concepts between the students who studied using the Experiential Learning model and students who using the Direct Intructions model in physics learning in SMK Farmasi Jember. &nbsp

    This research is intended to investigate the result of students’ physics learning result by using Cooperative Learning – interactive multimedia aided STAD learning technique and the class that use conventional learning (Direct Instruction). This research also investigates the students’ interest interactive multimedia aided STAD learning technique. This research uses experimental research methodology. The data that is used to find out the result of students’ interest is by using pre-test and post-test score from experimental class and class control. The average of pre-test and post-test score from experimental class is 34,88 and 74,41. The average of pre-test and post-test score from class control is 34,34 and 68,62. After interactive multimedia aided STAD learning technique applied, the data of the students’ interest is made by using percentage data which result is better. The data analysis result also find out that interactive multimedia aided STAD learning technique is better than the teaching technique done in class control. Besides, the students’ learning result and their interest during teaching and learning process using interactive multimedia aided STAD learning technique are considered to be high

    The goal of this study to find out how to increase activity and student learning outcomes in the classroom of SMP Negeri 12 Jember after application of active learning strategies mind maps. The research method used was action research (PTK). The data of student learning outcomes obtained from post-test scores. Analysis of activity data use the method that is used by basir shows an increase in student learning activities in cycle 1 at 60.60%, the second cycle students' learning activities by 65.33%, while the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle by 77.50% and the second cycle of 82.50%. The results of this data analysis proves that learning to use active learning strategies can increase the activity of the mind map and the learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 12 Jember

    The purpose of this research is to develop Electronic Physics modules that are of good quality, increase student motivation, and increase understanding concepts of students. This type of research is research and development, which produces electronic physics module that using 4-D model of development. The data acquisition instruments  is sheet expert validation and observation sheet student motivation. Data acquisition method is giving sheet expert validation, observation, and test. Validation logic value obtained of 2.74 so that it is said to be safe and is good to be used as development trial. Students have highly motivated learning to use electronic physics module. This is evident from the recapitulation of data which has an average percentage of 89%. Students understand the concept after use electronic physics module. This is evident from the recapitulation of data which has an average percentage of 84.81%
