Get PDFTato bakalářská práce srovnává autorský přístup a formální prostředky ve filmech Bély Tarra a Andreje Tarkovského. Cílem bylo srovnat filmy obou autorů z hlediska filmové řeči a autorského záměru. Metoda srovnávání vychází z pojmů v publikaci Spiritualita ve filmu Jaromíra Blažejovského, dále také z teoretických textů a rozhovorů s autory. Předmětem analýzy byly dva filmy od každého autora. V závěru jsou pojmenovány základní rozdíly v autorském přístupu a použití výrazových prostředků.This bachelor thesis compares attitude of the author and formal means in Béla Tarr’s and Andrey Tarkovsky’s movies. The aim was to compare movies of both authors from the point of view of film language and author‘s intention. Method of comparison is based on terms in publication Spirituality in cinema by Jaromír Blažejovský, further on theoretical texts and interviews with the authors. Subject of analysis were two movies from each author. In conclusion are named basic differencies in author’s approach and usage of expressive elements
CONVERSION OF SPA IN JABLONEC TO CREATIVE CENTRE
Get PDFDiplomová práce se věnuje tématu vzniku nových kreativních center v opuštěných objektech. Představuje budovu bývalých jabloneckých Městských lázní a přichází s modelem kreativního centra pro její nové využití. Jejím hlavním cílem je zodpovědět otázku, jaké služby a dramaturgii by mělo nové kreativní centrum Jablečné lázně nabízet tak, aby uspokojilo místní poptávku, nabízelo kvalitní dramaturgii a bylo ekonomicky co nejvíce soběstačné.
Ve své teoretické části se práce věnuje třem okruhům, které souvisejí jak s budovou lázní, tak s fenoménem vzniku kreativních center všeobecně. V první části popisuje kulturu městských lázní a zasazuje jablonecké lázně do celorepublikového, historického kontextu. V druhé části se věnuje kreativním centrům v ČR i zahraničí a ve třetí části pojednává téma genius loci jako součást dramaturgie. V praktické části poté na základě analýzy fungování dočasného provozu v lázních, na případových studiích existujících kreativních center a v neposlední řadě na základě výsledků pracovní skupiny navrhuje konkrétní využití budovy lázní jako kreativního centra.This diploma thesis deals with the idea to convert the abandoned Jablonec City Spa building into a new Art and Creativity Centre (ACC). Since it is unlikely, the spa operation can be reinstated in this building, it comes with model where the old Spa building will be step by step recontructed for its new use – to operate it as ACC.
The main goal is to answer the following two questions: First; What services and dramaturgy should the new ACC offer in order to meet a local demand? And second; Can this project be economically self-sufficient?
The thesis deals with three areas in its theoretical part. All they are related to both, the Spa building and the phenomenon of creative centres in general. The first part describes the typical culture of the city spa and places Jablonec City Spa in the nationwide and historical context. The second part deals with creative centres in Czech republic and abroad, and the third part considers Genius loci topic, as a part of dramaturgy.
The practical part refers to experience with the temporary operation in the old spa building organizing various happenings and analyses of these events. Further it considers the case studies of existing creative centres and last but not least, based on the results of working groups discussions, which concluded in proposal to use the old city spa building as an ACC

Get PDFThe Subject matter of this master thesis is a comprehensive study of Don Juan and Faust, a play written by Christian Dietrich Grabbe. My work starts with an introduction of Grabbe's life, social background, and personage, which I found of great importance for a better understanding his dramatical work. Further, the focus is on in-depth analysis and my interpretation of the play Don Juan and Faust, and their characters. The goal of my research is to develop a concept connected with contemporary aspects and questions supported with visual interpretation. Conclusively, I presented the result through scenography sketches of main dramatic situations and costumes.Diplomová práce se zabývá komplexní studií divadelní hry “Don Juan a Faust” jejímž autorem je Christian Dietrich Grabbe. Práce začíná úvodem do života a kontextu autora, jenž je důležitý pro pochopení jeho dramatické tvorby. Dále se soustředím na podrobnou analýzu a vlastní interpretaci postav a samotné hry “Don Juan a Faust”. Cílem této práce je návrh konceptu s přesahem do současných otázek a aspektů dnešní doby, podpořený vizuální interpretací. Výstupem je prezentace pomocí scénografických náčrtů hlavních dramatických dějů a kostýmů.

Práca hľadá vykonávané alternatívne postupy umeleckých inštitúcií, pozoruje stabilitu, zlyhanie a ich prínosy v kontexte vývoja a kritického premýšľania o inštitúciách. Cieľom je priniesť pohľad na súčasnú problematiku umeleckých inštitúcií v kontexte vzostupu kreatívnych a kultúrnych priemyslov a ich urýchlenej nutnej adaptácie do kapitalistickej logiky. Prináša kritické skúmanie umeleckej inštitúcie s pochopením toho, ako sú vytvorené a potenciálne menené prostredníctvom vykonaných postupov. Ak dokážeme vybudovať inštitúcie založené na nových princípoch, kto sú títo ľudia, pre ktorých ich budujeme?Through the mapping of various forms of institutionalization, the work presents case studies of current institutional experiments and creates an understanding of the evolution of institutional issues. The work seeks alternative methods of instituting, while observing stability and failure of art institutions in the context of development and critical thinking about institutions. Aim of this work is to reflect on the current issues of art institutions in the context of the rise of the creative and cultural industries and their accelerated necessary adaptation to capitalist logic. It provides a critical examination of an art institution with an understanding of how they are created and potentially altered through the procedures performed. Contemporary tendencies in Spanish drama by women playwrights
Get PDFPráce se zabývá současnou dramatickou tvorbou španělských dramatiček. V první části nastiňuje historický kontext a vývoj postavení ženských autorek na divadelní scéně ve Španělsku. Zaměřuje se na nejdůležitější instituce a iniciativy, podpůrné programy a dramatické ceny z perspektivy ženské tvorby. V další části představuje 15 současných španělských dramatiček různých generací a analyzuje jejich dílo. Pojmenovává nejčastější témata a popisuje hlavní tendence a charakteristiky jejich tvorby. V poslední části autorka rozebírá problematiku překladu divadelních her. Konkrétní problémy demonstruje na vlastním překladu jednoaktové divadelní hry Karneval od Palomy Pedrero. Tuto hru dramaturgicky analyzuje a poskytuje argumenty pro její scénickou interpretaci.The thesis deals with contemporary Spanish drama by women playwrights. In the first part it outlines the historical context and the evolution of women’s occupation as playwrights on the Spanish theatre scene. It focuses on the most important institutions and initiatives, supporting programmes and dramatic prizes from the perspective of women's playwrighting. The next section presents 15 contemporary Spanish women authors of different generations and analyses their work. It names the most common themes and describes the main tendencies and characteristics of their work. In the last part, the author discusses the issue of translation of theatre plays. She demonstrates specific problems by using her own translation of Paloma Pedrero's one-act play Karneval (Lauren’s Call). She analyses this play dramaturgically and provides arguments for its stage interpretation

V druhé řadě se diplomová práce zabývá analýzou absolventské role (Kubík, Digitální podzemí) v divadle DISK.This diploma thesis focuses, first and foremost, on the link between religious rituals and theatre performances in that part of history reaching from the cognitive revolution until today. There is also a focus on the formation of arts and theatre based on the first animistic religions, as well as a difference between reality and unreality, the need for mystical stories in society and discrepancy between arts and religion. Alternatives of institutional art education in a feminist context
No full textV práci se zabývám politickým potenciálem imaginace alternativních modelů uměleckého vzdělávání v radikálně anarcha-feministickém kontextu. Z tohoto kontextu posléze vycházejí podmínky, skrze které zkoumám funkční stránky projektů, jež současně poskytují alternativní umělecké vzdělávání v našem prostředí, konkrétně v Česku a na Slovensku. Tyto podmínky pramení z aktivistického aspektu feministické ideologie a kladou důraz na udržitelné fungování, intersekcionální přístup, nehierarchické uspořádání a důležitost procesuálního vývoje a budování vztahů. Potenciál alternativního uměleckého vzdělání v práci artikuluji, jako příspěvek ke kontinuálnímu výzkumu, jež může pomoci snahám o proměnu společnosti i představám lepších budoucností.In this thesis I explore the political potential of imagining alternative models of art education in a radically anarcha-feminist context. From this context I then derive the conditions through which I explore the functional aspects of projects that are providing alternative art education in our environment, specifically in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. These conditions stem from the activist aspect of feminist ideology and emphasize sustainable functioning, intersectionality, non-hierarchical organization, and the importance of process development and relationship building. I articulate the potential of alternative arts education in this thesis as a contribution to ongoing research that can support efforts to transform the society and envision better futures
ACTING STUDYING AND SELF-APPRECIATION
Get PDFCílem této práce je ohlédnutí se za mým vývojem sebehodnoty a její porovnání v době před a po studiu herectví. Práce pojednává o tom, jaké vlivy mohou podporovat nebo naopak ohrožovat a snižovat sebehodnotu mladého začínajícího herce. Opírám se nejen o odbornou literaturu, ale i o beletrii, která si myslím, že má k tématu co říci. Na konec diplomové práce přikládám dotazník pro 35 respondentů se 7 otázkami, které jsou přehledně zodpovězeny v koláčovém grafu.This thesis explores various influences that may encourage or hamper the self appreciation of young actor the beginning of his career. This research takes into account scholarly works as well as selected novels, which I believe to be relevant to the topic. At the end of my thesis, I included questionnaire consisting of 7 inquiries addressed by 35 respondents. The data obtained is visualized in the pie chart attached

No full textBakalářská práce se věnuje uplatnění absolventů studijních programů Katedry
produkce DAMU v profesionální praxi. Cílem je především získat celkový přehled
o tématu. V rámci kapitoly teoretických východisek jsou shrnuta a porovnávána
vysokoškolská studia produkce/managementu. Následuje definice profese
produkčního/manažera v daném druhu tvorby. Přehled uplatnění absolventů v praxi je
dokumentován dotazníkovým průzkumem, na který odpovědělo 127 respondentů,
kteří absolvovali Katedru produkce v uplynulých třiceti letech. Šetření je doplněno
řízenými rozhovory s vybranými respondenty. Výsledná data jsou statisticky
zpracována, interpretována a shrnuta. Základním zjištěním je překvapivě různorodá
škála institucí, pozic i činností, a především jejich specifických variant, které absolventi
zastávají. Tento fakt zásadním způsobem ovlivňuje možnost výpovědi o uplatnění
absolventů a faktorech, které ho ovlivňují. Hodnocení role vzdělání jsou často až
protichůdná. Naopak za významný činitel v dalším profesionálním působení jsou ve
velké míře pokládány kontakty získané v průběhu studia. Z průzkumu také vyplývá, že
necelá polovina respondentů nachází práci v divadelní oblasti, minimálně čtvrtina
působí v oblasti komerčně kulturní a pětina úplně mimo odvětví kultury. Toto zjištění
se může stát důležitým podnětem pro diskusi o šíři a proměnlivosti oboru divadelní
produkce, o případném dopadu na její vymezení a o potřebě profese produkčního jako
takové.The bachelor's thesis explores the topic of professional practice of graduates of the
Department of Arts Management at the Theater Academy of Performing Arts in Prague
(DAMU). Within the complex issues of professional practice, the area is examined from
the employees/graduates’ point of view. The main goal of the thesis is to achieve an
overview of this topic. The theoretical framework is based on a summary and
a comparison of Production/Management of Performing Arts Studies in the Czech
Republic with focus on theater production. Then the profession of production/manager
in a given type of production is defined. The overview of graduates’ employment in
practice is attained by a survey conducted with 127 graduates of the Department of
Arts Management over the past 30 years. Moreover, the survey is supplemented with
interviews with selected respondents. The data results are processed statistically,
interpreted and summarized. The core finding of it is that the respondents engage with
a surprisingly diverse range of institutions, positions and activities and especially with
their specific variants. This fact fundamentally attests to the possibilities of
employment of graduates and the factors, which have an effect on them. The
respondents’ evaluations of their education are often contradictory. However, the
contacts gained during the studies are definitely considered important for further
professional work. The survey also shows that less than half of the respondents find
employment in the field of theater, at least one quarter of the respondents work in the
commercial and cultural field and one fifth of the respondents work outside the cultural
sector. These findings may become an important starting point for a discussion about
the size or variability of the Theater Production Studies, about the characteristics of
the profession and the need of it
Jiří Ropek - organist and composer
Get PDFTato práce pojednává o varhaníku Jiřím Ropkovi, jehož sté výročí narození si v letošním roce připomínáme. Na úvod mapuje jeho dospívání ve světle přelomových událostí 20. století. Dále postupně přibližuje všechny směry, kterými se za svého života ubíral – od doprovodu liturgie a koncertování přes pedagogickou činnost až po skladatelský odkaz. Na závěr pak přináší kompletní přehled autorova díla, stejně jako seznam vydaných nahrávek.This work deals with the organist Jiří Ropek, whose 100th birthday anniversary is commemorated this year. The introduction maps his adolescence in the light of the turning points of the 20th century. Then it gradually outlines all the directions he took during his life – from the accompaniment of the liturgy and concerts through his pedagogical activities to his compositional legacy. Finally, it provides a complete overview of the author's work, as well as a list of published recordings
