No full textThis thesis explores the fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning (ML), as they can be applied to content creation methodologies and specifically film editing and post production. We provide an overview of the technologies and concepts involved and we will present and examine their effects on the creation of content, along with a few examples and key-studies. The applications will focus both on processes decreasing the human workload, while providing content insight and workflows steering, and at providing automatic content production. Meanwhile, we will critically examine the successes and limitations of this rapidly advancing technology in each of these areas, and we will further differentiate between the use of AI as a creative tool and its potential as a creator on its own.Tato práce zkoumá základy umělé inteligence včetně strojového učení a jeho využití v metodologiích tvorby obsahu, zejména ve filmovém střihu a postprodukci.
Práce nabízí přehled souvisejících technologií a konceptů a představuje a zkoumá jejich vliv na tvorbu obsahu včetně několika příkladů a studií. Využití se soustředí na procesy snižující pracovní zátěž člověka, poskytnutí vhledu do daného obsahu, řízení workflow a samostatné produkce obsahu. Tato práce poskytuje kritickou analýzu úspěchů a limitů v oblastech této rychle se vyvíjející technologie a dále rozlišuje mezi využitím umělé inteligence jako kreativního nástroje a jeho potenciálem v samostatné tvůrčí činnosti

Na základě různých filozofických pojetí svobody se snaží pojmenovat, co lze při snaze analyzovat svobodu ve filmu vlastně zkoumat. Dále se prostřednictvím analýzy daných děl zabývá filmovými postupy, kterými se téma svobody v těchto filmech projevuje - narativními linkami, vývojem postav, vnitřní dramaturgií scén, pohybem postav v diegetickém prostoru, rytmem, záběrováním, vymaněním se ze zobrazovacích stereotypů a dalšími. Tím práce identifikuje obecné možnosti, kterými lze zapracovat obsáhlejší témata do scénáře a filmu.This master’s thesis deals with the theme of freedom in the films Water Lilies, Tomboy, Girlhood, and Portrait of a Lady on Fire of the French screenwriter and director Céline Sciamma. Based on different philosophical conceptions of freedom, it aims to describe the film methods used to manifest the theme of freedom in these films - the narrative lines, the development of the characters, the interior dramaturgy of the scenes, the movement of the characters in diegetic space, the rhythm, the framing, the evasion of stereotypical portrayals, and other procedures. Get PDFDivácký či hráčský prožitek je jedním z klíčových aspektů audiovizuální tvorby – pravděpodobně každý tvůrce chce, aby jeho dílo bylo diváky pozitivně vnímáno a hodnoceno. Na kvalitě prožitku při sledování či aktivním hraní audiovizuálního díla se však nepodílí pouze samotný obsah, ale také způsob jeho reprodukce – zdali film sledujeme v kině, nebo na tabletu či hrajeme doma na televizi, nebo se ponoříme do virtuální reality. První část této práce zkoumá různé koncepty lidského prožitku (imerze, prezence, flow atd.), způsoby, jak je měřit, a vytváří teoretické východisko pro vlastní výzkum. Ve své druhé části sleduje tři současné technologické fenomény – konkrétně binaurální reprodukci, virtuální realitu a zvukový formát Dolby Atmos a prakticky ověřuje, jakým způsobem tyto fenomény ovlivňují náš divácký zážitek, či obecně percepci audiovizuálního díla.The viewing or playing experience is one of the key aspects of audiovisual production – probably every creator wants his work to be positively perceived and evaluated by viewers. However, the quality of the experience of watching or actively playing an audiovisual work is due not only to the content itself, but also to the way it is reproduced – whether we watch a movie in a cinema or on a tablet, or play a game on TV at home, or immerse ourselves in virtual reality. The first part of this work examines various concepts of human experience (immersion, presence, flow, etc.), ways to measure them and defines theoretical basis for their research. In its second part, it monitors three current technological phenomena (binaural reproduction, virtual reality and the Dolby Atmos audio format) and practically verifies how these phenomena affect our viewing experience or the perception of audiovisual works in general

Postupně se zaměřím na specifikum diváckého prožitku, jenž tento směr vyvolává, a na jeho genezi na základě určité práce s narativními a stylistickými strukturami filmového média. Následně zohledním možnosti gialla v současné kinematografii a v závěru se pokusím reflektovat giallo ve vztahu k tématům, v jejichž kontextu bývá nahlíženo s určitou kontroverzí.This bachelor‘s thesis is dedicated to the cinematographic stream called giallo, which was evolving mainly during the sixties and seventies of the last century.
I will focus on the specificity of the audience experience evoked by this stream and its genesis based on a certain work with narrative and stylistic structures of the film medium. Than I will consider possibilities of giallo in contemporary cinema and finally I will try to reflect giallo in relationships to the themes, which is usually related with some controversy

No full textThis work examines two notably different modes of presentation of sexuality - graphically revealing and concealingly poetic - in the cinematic visual narrative by analyzing and comparing series of the American HBO pay television network and films of the Iranian directors Mohsen Makhmalbaf and Abbas Kiarostami. The thesis intends to prove the research assumption that a greater freedom in the portrayal of sexuality leads into a stronger and more compelling narrative. The main question of the work is, does an unconcealed, visceral presentation have a significant advantage in viewer impact compared to a figurative, symbolical presentation. The work mainly focuses on finding and categorizing distinguishable visual, auditory and narrational elements, or the notable lack of them, and estimating their effect on viewer experience. A resolution to the assumption is based on the analysis of the material and research into critique in the reference literature.Tato práce zkoumá dva pozoruhodně odlišné způsoby prezentace sexuality - graficky odhalující a tajně poetické - ve filmovém vizuálním vyprávění analýzou a porovnáním řady americké sítě placené televize HBO a filmů íránských režisérů Mohsena Makhmalbafa a Abbase Kiarostamiho. Práce chce dokázat výzkumný předpoklad, že větší svoboda v zobrazení sexuality vede k silnějšímu a přesvědčivějšímu vyprávění. Hlavní otázkou práce je, zda má skrytá, viscerální prezentace významnou výhodu v dopadu na diváka ve srovnání s obraznou, symbolickou prezentací. No full textKameramanovy schopnosti se skládají z mnoha vrstev. Od uměleckých a ideologických, až po řemeslné a taktické. Rozhodl jsem se zkoumat jednu z těchto schopností, která se mi zdála být jednou z nejabstraktnějších. Vizuální koncepce a styl je velice individuální a zajímalo by mě, jestli existují průsečíky, které by mohli sloužit tvůrcům v jejich začátcích a tím zkrátit jejich tápání.
Téma této diplomové práce, které jsem si zvolil a bylo mi katedrou kamery FAMU schváleno mi umožnilo konfrontovat se s kameramany a studijními materiály, se kterými bych nikdy nevedl takhle předmětný rozhovor. Díky FAMU jsem se pustil do zpracovávání myšlenek, kterým bych jinak nebyl pravděpodobně schopen věnovat patřičnou pozornost.Cinematographer skills are made out of many layers. From the creative and ideological to the craftsman and tactical skills. I decided to go and explore one of those skills that seemed very abstract to me and I wanted to find its core. Visual conception appears to be very individual for each creative and I wondered if they're any spots where the paths of the cinematographer's view on visual conception cross. And if I can point those spots out to those who are just about to start their journey to continue into the world of cinematography career.
I chose these topics that have been approved by the Department of Camera at FAMU. I have gained an opportunity to speculate about information and to speak with cinematographers about specific details of their craft. Thanks to FAMU I had the opportunity to place those questions and hustle out some great educative answers. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t dig as deep in the following pages

No full textPráce je popisem dvoudenního projektu s žáky sedmé a osmé třídy základní školy. Reflektuje první praktickou zkušenost s realizací dramaticko-výchovného projektu, který se stala předlohou kniha Transport za věčnost. Kniha nabízí náměty z historického období druhé světové války. Práce rozebírá předlohu z hlediska jejích literárních kvalit a dále z hlediska možností pro práci v dramatické výchově. V první části jsou popsány dramaturgické úvahy, které provázely přípravu projektu. Důležitou část tvoří popis skupiny a jejích specifik. Samotný scénář je nastíněn v další části. Příprava dílny je zapsána v jednotlivých blocích, každý blok je po realizaci reflektován. V další části jsou popsány zpětné vazby od účastníků a následně jsou zhodnoceny původní nastavené cíle projektu.This thesis is description of two day project with children in seventh and eighth grade. It reflects the first practical experience with drama-educational project, which is based on the book Transport beyond Eternity. The book offers topics from the historical period of the Second World War. The thesis analyzes the book in its literary qualities and in terms of opportunities for work in drama education. The first part describes the dramaturgical considerations that accompanied the preparation of the project. An important part is the description of the group and its specifics. The scenario itself is outlined in the next section. The preparation of the workshop is written in individual blocks, each block is reflected after the . The next part describes the feedback from the participants and then evaluates the original goals of the project

V hranicích textu autor experimentálně ohledává způsoby, skrze které napsaný text zdůrazňuje fakt vždy konkrétní časoprostorové realizace čtení a rozmanitým způsobem bere do hry čtenáře jako psychofyzickou bytost. Opírá se přitom jednak o literární díla vědomě pracující se situovaností čtenáře a v druhé řadě o autorem sestavenou antologii Poezie situace. Své závěry dává do kontextu divadelní komunikace, v jejímž rámci je divák vybízen k opuštění role pouhého pozorovatele a stává se aktivním spolutvůrcem.The theme of this thesis is the expansion of the principles of communication of the literary text towards theatrical communication, namely through possible ways of activating the reader. Within the boundaries of the text, the author experimentally explores how the written text emphasizes the always concrete spatiotemporal realization of reading and in various ways brings into play the reader as a psycho-physical being. He bases this firstly on literary works that consciously deal with the situatedness of the reader and, secondly, on the anthology Poezie situace, compiled by the author. He provides his conclusions in the context of theatrical communication, in which the spectator is encouraged to abandon the role of mere observer and become an active co-creator

Zhromažďuje a interpretuje postupy tvorby a divácke zážitky a hľadá v nich momenty, ktoré jej pomáhajú spätne lepšie zhodnotiť jednotlivé inscenačné rozhodnutia. Môže divadlo pomáhať človeku pocítiť významy ukotvené v krajine? A akými prostriedkami to dosahuje?This thesis is a reaction to the creative process of the SOLE graduation project. Its author draws on her own experiences of theater creation situated in the suburban landscape of Prague. She takes into account and interprets the creative processes and the audience's experiences and looks for moments in them that help her to evaluate individual staging decisions in retrospect. Can theater help a person to feel the meanings anchored in the landscape? And by what means does it achieve this
