Práce zkoumá Koshinského originalitu a přínos prostřednictvím analýzy vybraných skladeb. Dvě z těchto skladeb jsou detailně rozebrány tak, aby pomohly interpretům při jejich studiu a provedení. Práce rovněž obsahuje stručný historický kontext multiperkusí, který slouží jako úvod do této oblasti bubenického umění. V práci jsou zahrnuty také zkušenosti jiných interpretů, což poskytuje širší perspektivu na Koshinského tvorbu a jeho vliv na současnou hudební scénu. It presents his life and work with an emphasis on his contributions to multipercussion setups. The thesis examines Koshinski's originality and impact through the analysis of selected compositions. Two of these pieces are analyzed in detail to assist performers in their study and execution. The thesis also includes a brief historical context of multipercussion, serving as an introduction to this area of drumming art. Additionally, the work incorporates the experiences of other performers, providing a broader perspective on Koshinski's oeuvre and his influence on the contemporary music scene. Teoretická část analyzuje způsob práce s folklorními zvukovými prostředky, tedy zpracování, kompoziční úpravy, dramaturgii a funkci lidové hudby ve filmu.
Praktická část práce se věnuje hloubkové analýze vybraných filmových děl využívajících folklorní zvukové prvky. Zkoumá, jakým způsobem jsou tyto prostředky začleněny do celkové dramaturgie filmu, jak ovlivňují vyprávění příběhu a jaký mají emocionální dopad na diváky.
Cílem je poskytnout komplexní přehled možností práce s folklorními prvky ve filmové tvorbě. Práce se zabývá způsoby využití folkloru coby plnohodnotného dramaturgického nástroje a zkoumá, zda-li folklorní tvorba není jen historickým a regionálním fenoménem.This thesis explores the use of folk music and sound in the cinema of the Visegrad Four countries, given their common borders and the similarities of their folk cultures. The theoretical part analyses the folk sound elements, i.e. compositional arrangements, dramaturgy, and the function of folk music in film. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to an in-depth analysis of selected films using folk sound elements. It examines how these devices are incorporated into the overall dramaturgy of the film, how they influence the storytelling, and what emotional impact they have on the audience.The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of the possibilities of working with folkloric elements in filmmaking. No full textTato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na analýzu postapokalyptického žánru, konkrétně na dílo Spad od autora Františka Kotlety (Leoše Kyšy), který se odehrává v postapokalyptické České republice. Cílem je prozkoumat, jak autorova spekulace o budoucnosti Česka, inspirovaná geopolitickými změnami v Evropě, ovlivňuje narativ a vizuální styl díla.
Výzkum zahrnuje teoretickou analýzu žánrových prvků v knize ukazující na postapokalyptický a westernový žánr. Dále se práce zaměřuje na analýzu filmových a televizních děl, jako jsou Fallout, Oblivion a Mad Max: Fury Road, které sdílejí podobné postapokalyptické a westernové motivy a estetiku. Tyto srovnání pomáhají definovat klíčové vizuální prvky, které mohou být aplikovány při filmové adaptaci knihy.
Praktická část práce se zabývá přípravou možné filmové adaptace, včetně návrhu vizuální koncepce a technických specifikací. Rozbor a aplikace zjištěných žánrových a vizuálních prvků ilustrují, jak mohou být jednotlivé aspekty efektivně transformovány z literární předlohy na filmové plátno.
Cílem této práce je tedy nejenom teoretická analýza postapokalyptického žánru, ale i praktické využití získaných poznatků pro vytvoření uceleného návrhu filmové adaptace, která by mohla českému i mezinárodnímu publiku nabídnout nový pohled na tento žánr.This thesis focuses on the analysis of the post-apocalyptic genre, specifically the work Spad by František Kotleta (Leoš Kyša), which is set in the post-apocalyptic Czech Republic. The aim is to explore how the author's speculation about the future of the Czech Republic, inspired by geopolitical changes in Europe, influences the narrative and visual style of the work.
The research includes a theoretical analysis of genre elements in the book pointing to the post-apocalyptic and western genre. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the analysis of film and television works such as Fallout, Oblivion and Mad Max: Fury Road, which share similar post-apocalyptic and western themes and aesthetics. These comparisons help define key visual elements that can be applied to a film adaptation of the book.
The practical part of the thesis deals with the preparation of a possible film adaptation, including the design of the visual concept and technical specifications. The analysis and application of the identified genre and visual elements illustrate how each aspect can be effectively transformed from the literary draft to the cinematic screen.
The aim of this thesis is therefore not only a theoretical analysis of the post-apocalyptic genre, but also the practical application of the findings to create a coherent proposal for a film adaptation that could offer a new perspective on the genre to Czech and international audiences

vyprávění, stručně nastínit historický a technický vývoj interaktivních médií a adaptivní hudby a ukázat některé techniky, které se při práci s takovýmto typem hudby používají. Na základě zpracované literatury a důkladné analýzy hudby ve hrách Detroit: Become Human a Life Is Strange práce poukazuje na to, jakým způsobem lze s adaptivní hudbou ve hrách nakládat a jak různé přístupy ovlivňují hráčovu percepci díla. V závěru práce jsou obě analyzované hry krátce srovnány z hlediska práce s hudbou a její adaptabilitou.This diploma thesis deals with various aspects of using adaptive music in interactive storytelling, specifically in videogames. No full textBakalářská práce se zabývá mladými teenage herci a performery v divadle a zejména pak vybranými inscenacemi, na jejichž vzniku se přímo podíleli a ve kterých přímo participují young adults. Vymezení této skupiny se obšírněji věnuje první část této práce. Z poznatků o mladých lidech, kteří směřují svůj zájem k divadlu a obecně živému umění, a také na základě vlastních osobních poznatků a zkušeností práce zkoumá, jaká jsou specifika vzniku takovýchto projektů a čím se odlišují od standardní inscenace a jejího procesu. Východiskem je hlavně praktická stránka realizace inscenací, tedy v projektech, které vznikly na poli českého divadla a stojí za nimi tvůrci, kteří mají nejednu zkušenost s projekty založenými na podobné bázi ať už to jsou jiné projekty s dětmi či komunitní projekty.The bachelor thesis deals with young teenage actors and performers in theatre and especially with selected productions in which they have directly participated and in which young adults are directly involved. The definition of this group is discussed in more detail in the first part of this thesis. Based on the knowledge of young people who direct their interest towards theatre and live art in general, as well as their own personal knowledge and experience, the thesis explores the specifics of the creation of such projects and how they differ from a standard production and its process. The starting points are mainly the practical aspects of the realization of productions, i.e. in projects that have been created in the field of Czech theatre and are backed by creators who have more than one experience with projects based on a similar basis or other projects with children or community projects
Synesthesia and its influence on musical works
Full text linkVe své bakalářské práci se pokusím shrnout téma synestezie ve spojení s hudbou a jejich vzájemný vliv, který na sebe nepochybně mají. V první části práce jsem se zaměřila na kompletaci co nejvíce možných zdrojů, jaké mi byly k dispozici, abych téma synestezie v obecném slova smyslu dokázala přesně popsat. Velkou pomocí mi v tomto ohledu byly odborné publikace předního českého psychiatra a pedagoga Radkina Honzáka. Druhá část práce popisuje spojení synestezie s hudbou a zahrnuje i obecné informace o skladatelích, kteří synestezií sami disponovali. Kromě zdrojů, které se zabývají dějinami hudby nebo konkrétními skladateli, mi v počáteční fázi psaní byly velkou oporou jiné práce s podobným tématem, které mě později navedly k příslušným pramenům. Mojí největší snahou v této kapitole bylo shrnout vše podstatné o spojení synestezie s hudbou. Ve třetí části práce jsem vypracovala rozbor díla Prométheus Alexandra Nikolajeviče Skrjabina, jelikož je jedním z nejznámějších hudebních příkladů synestezie. Díky dostupné partituře na webu International Music Score Library Project mi bylo umožněno dílo rozebrat a shrnout, jakým způsobem skladatel v tomto díle pracoval s tématy a hudebním materiálem celkově.In my bachelor's thesis, I will attempt to summarize the topic of synesthesia in connection with music and the mutual influence they undoubtedly have on each other. In the first part of the thesis, I focused on compiling as many sources as possible that were available to me, in order to accurately describe the topic of synesthesia in a general sense. In this regard, the professional publications of the leading Czech psychiatrist and educator Radkin Honzák were of great help to me. The second part of the thesis describes the connection between synesthesia and music and includes general information about composers who experienced synesthesia themselves. In addition to sources dealing with the history of music or specific composers, other works with similar topics, which later guided me to relevant sources, were a great support to me in the initial phase of writing. My main effort in this chapter was to summarize all essential aspects of the connection between synesthesia and music. In the third part of the thesis, I conducted an analysis of the work "Prometheus" by Alexander Nikolayevich Scriabin, as it is one of the most famous musical examples of synesthesia. Thanks to the available score on the International Music Score Library Project website, I was able to analyze the work and summarize how the composer dealt with themes and musical material in this piece overall

Following the boom of tourism in the post-colonial era, photography has become more prevalent than ever. The aesthetic of photography has been significantly influenced by mass-tourism, contributing to the emergence of a new form of colonialism. The thesis will also present work of photographers and visual artists that avoid adopting colonial perspectives in their work.Diplomová práce zkoumá současnou praxi ve vietnamské fotografii z pohledu kolonialismu. S nárůstem turismu v postkoloniální éře se fotografie stala neodmyslitelnou součástí života většího počtu lidí než kdy předtím. Estetika fotografie podstoupila výraznou proměnu díky masovému turismu, což vedlo k vzniku nové podoby kolonialismu. Práce se také zaměřuje na díla fotografů a výtvarných umělců, kteří se ve své tvorbě vyhýbají přijímání koloniální perspektivy

Metodou je stvoření fikčního rozhovoru mezi dogmatickým teoretikem ukládajícím plnit konvence a režisérem, který se jim každým svým filmem vzpírá. Dva nesmiřitelní protagonisté této práce mají reálné předobrazy, v absurdně konstruovaném rozhovoru jsou proti sobě stavěny myšlenky z knihy akademika Martina Čiháka Ponorná řeka kinematografie a stylové zákonitosti raných snímků britského režiséra Petera Greenawaye. Na pozadí fikčního dramatu, jehož těžiště je v analýze několika filmů, práce také zkoumá možnosti narace v experimentální kinematografii ve snaze poukázat na ty stylové prvky Greenawayovy tvorby, které zatěžují vizuální složku i dialogické promluvy významy a tvoří zápletky příběhů.The main task of this thesis is to inquire about the relevance of categories that determine the relationship of creators and theorists to cinematography. The method involves creating a fictional dialogue between a dogmatic theorist and a director who defies the conventions imposed by the theorist with each of their films. The two irreconcilable protagonists in this thesis have real-life counterparts, and in the absurdly constructed conversation, ideas from the book Ponorná řeka kinematografie by academic Martin Čihák and the stylistic principles of early films by British director Peter Greenaway are juxtaposed. Against the backdrop of this fictional drama, which primarily analyzes several films, the thesis also explores narrative possibilities in experimental cinematography, aiming to highlight the stylistic elements in Greenaway's work that add interpretations to both the visual component and the dialogues, creating intricate storylines

Práce využívá literární rešerši k získání informací o kariérách a metodách obou umělců, následně je provedeno srovnání jejich přístupů k interpretaci a výuce trombonu, včetně analýzy jejich sólových alb a pedagogických aktivit.This thesis, titled The contribution of trombone players Achilles Liarmakopoulos and Zoltan Kiss in the performing and educational sphere and their comparison, focuses on comparing two prominent trombonists and their impact on trombone performance and education. The aim of the thesis is to illustrate how both trombonists contribute to their field, whether as performers or educators.

Na jeho nejvýznamnějších dílech tato práce dokazuje odlišnost a poukazuje na faktory jeho inovačních skladatelských postupů a jeho osobitý kompoziční styl. Přibližuje jej také jako v té době velmi významného pedagoga, varhaníka a umělce, jehož koncertní činnost zapříčinila časté cesty do zahraničí. Díky nim mohl být inspirován novými vjemy, které se projevovaly v jeho netradičním způsobu jak při kompozici, tak v interpretaci.The aim of this thesis is to describe the life and reference of Jan Ladislav Dusík, this important pedagogue, performer and composer of the 18th century. On his most important works, this thesis proves the difference and points to the factors of his innovative compositional procedures and his significant compositional style. It also describes him as a very important pedagogue, organist and pianist at the time, whose concert activity caused frequent trips abroad. Thanks to them, he could be inspired by new perceptions, which manifested themselves in his unconventional way of both composition and interpretation
