The possibilities of musical accompaniment in dance education
Get PDFDiplomová práce představuje možnosti hudebního doprovodu v taneční výchově. Práce poukazuje na důležitost živého hudebního doprovodu a jeho přínos. Zaměřuje se především na využití Orffových nástrojů a taneční korepetici. Zmiňuje také reprodukovanou hudbu jako další možnost hudebního doprovodu. Zde poukazuje na vhodný výběr hudby vzhledem k věku dítěte. Praktická část obsahuje příklady cvičení, jak u dětí za pomoci hudebního doprovodu rozvíjet jednotlivé složky, jako jsou rytmus, dynamika a prostorové cítění. Součástí práce je dotazník. Slouží jako přehled, jak dalece pedagogové tance pracují s živým hudebním doprovodem, v čem spatřují jeho největší přínos a do jaké míry používají Orffův instrumentář nebo hudbu reprodukovanou.The diploma thesis presents the possibilities of musical accompaniment in dance education. The thesis points out the importance of live musical accompaniment and its contribution. It mainly focuses on the use of Orff instruments and dance accompaniment. Also mentions recorded music as another option for musical accompaniment. Here points out the appropriate choice of music for the child's age. The practical part contains examples of exercises, how to develop individual components such as rhythm, dynamics and spatial awareness in children with the help of musical accompaniment. Part of the work is a questionnaire. It serves as an overview of how far dance pedagogues work with live musical accompaniment, what they see as its greatest benefit and to what extent they use Orff instruments or reproduced music

Get PDFDiplomová práce Místo, čas a prostor jako prvotní impulz při tvorbě inscenace se zabývá vývojem site specific a environmentálního umění. V teoretické části vymezuje základní pojmy – prostor, čas, fenomenologie prostoru a genius loci, které jsou pro vymezení termínu site specific nezbytné. V následujících kapitolách připomene snahy vymezování se vůči divadelnímu prostoru v rámci dějin divadla spolu s pojmenováním, z čeho site specific vzešlo. Pozornost bude věnovaná především akčnímu umění, tedy druhé polovině 20. století.
V druhé části autorka definuje pojem site specific a vymezí jeho charakteristické znaky spolu s komunitním aspektem vrámci daného místa/lokality. Poslední kapitoly se zaměřují na proces tvorby skrze fenomenologii prostoru coby základní dramaturgický klíč, kde se autorka pokusí reflektovat vlastní tvorbu site specific projektů z pozice režiséra i dramaturga.The diploma thesis Place, space and time as the initial impulse in the creation of a production deals with the development of site specific and environmental art. In the second part, the author defines the concept of site specific, its features and the community aspect within the given place/locality. Get PDFThe following thesis is a reflection on the presentation of masculinity in political portraiture and its connection to political power in the United States. This essay aims to connect the earliest forms of gender segregated representational artwork to the presidency of Donald Trump with an emphasis on social psychological theories. I will explore the role of masculinity in monarchical portraiture as it evolved in Europe with a focus on England as the predecessor of the United States. I will then explore the mythology of the American Frontier and the artists who invented the common image of the cowboy which I argue is the quintessential model of American masculinity. Though the frontier myth was generally adopted by more progressive candidates in early American history, by the time Ronald Reagan was running for president in 1980 it had shifted sharply to the political Right where it has remained ever since. Finally, I’ll conclude by discussing the ways in which Donald Trump’s unique brand of masculine bravado has so effectively captured the hearts and minds of his base of aggrieved White men in the wake of progressive gains made under the Obama administration.Následující práce je zamyšlením nad prezentací maskulinity v politickém portrétu a nad jejím propojením s politickou mocí ve Spojených státech. Cílem této eseje je propojit nejstarší formy genderově segregované reprezentativní umělecké tvorby s prezidentstvím Donalda Trumpa s důrazem na sociálně psychologické teorie. Budu zkoumat roli maskulinity v panovnickém portrétu, jak se vyvíjel v Evropě se zaměřením na Anglii jako předchůdkyni Spojených států. Poté se budu zabývat mytologií amerického pohraničí a umělci, kteří vytvořili typický obraz kovboje, o němž tvrdím, že je kvintesenciálním modelem americké maskulinity. Ačkoli byl v raných amerických dějinách mýtus hranice obecně přijímán progresivnějšími kandidáty, v době, kdy se Ronald Reagan ucházel o prezidentský úřad, se prudce posunul k politické pravici, kde zůstal dodnes. Na závěr se budu zabývat způsoby, jakými jedinečná značka mužské siláckosti Donalda Trumpa tak účinně uchvátila srdce a mysl jeho základny roztrpčených bílých mužů v důsledku progresivních úspěchů dosažených za Obamovy vlády
Art and drama education in a forest kindergarten

Teoretické poznatky z odborných pramenů stručně vysvětlují základní principy výtvarné dramatiky a přírodní pedagogiky a zároveň se vztahují k realizovanému projektu a z něj vycházejícím zjištěním autora. V práci je dále popsána příprava a realizace interního výtvarně-dramaticko-výchovného projektu, volně inspirovaného knižní předlohou Olgy Černé – Ztracený deník profesora z Essexu. Závěr práce je věnován odborné pedagogické reflexi projektu.The bachelor thesis focuses on applying drama-educational methods in preschool education within the forest kindergarten Vážka. The theoretical findings from professional sources briefly explain the basic principles of art drama and nature pedagogy and, at the same time, relate them to the implemented project and the author's findings. The thesis also describes the preparation and implementation of an internal art-drama-educational project loosely inspired by the book by Olga Černá - The Lost Diary of an Essex Professor. Get PDFOdborné studie, které se zabývají využíváním divadla ve zdravotní péči, ukazují jeho význam a vliv na psychický i fyzický stav člověka. Zatím však neexistuje studie, která by se zabývala divadlem v péči paliativní. Divadelní tvorba pro pacienty v závěru života je doposud neprozkoumaným oborem.
Cílem této práce je zachytit, co se děje při setkání umírajícího člověka s divadlem, na základě reflektované zkušenosti z hraní autorské divadelní inscenace Tam, kde končí oceán pro pacienty na odděleních paliativní péče ve dvou nemocnicích v Praze.
Text práce je rozdělen na tři základní části – první zachycuje teoretické ukotvení, metodologii, proces a výsledky výzkumu; druhá a třetí část je složena z úryvků výzkumného deníku a přináší tak současně vhled do metodologie i metody výzkumu. Závěr nabízí shrnutí hlavních myšlenek a také diskusi k tématu, ve které nastiňuje výzvy pro další divadelní práci v prostředí paliativní péče.Expert studies on the use of theatre in health care indicate its importance and influence on the mental and physical condition of people. However, there is as yet no study that has examined theatre in palliative care. Creating theatre for patients at the end of life is an unexplored field.
The aim of this thesis is to capture what happens when a dying person encounters theatre, based on the reflected experience of performing an original theatre production Where the Ocean Ends for patients of palliative care units in two hospitals in Prague.

Get PDFDisertační práce nese název Johann Matthias Sperger a jeho doba. Zabývá se historickým a hudebním vývojem města Valtice (tehdejší Feldsberg) od 12. století až do roku 1767, kdy Sperger opouští své rodné město Valtice a pokračuje ve studiích ve Vídni. Pojednává o rodových liniích Lichtenštejnů, kterým region patřil a kteří bohatě podporovali umění a kulturu. Dále se podrobně zaměřuje na dětství, dobu studií a sólovou kariéru kontrabasového velikána Johanna Matthiase Spergera, jenž změnil chápáni tohoto nejhlubšího nástroje z řad smyčců, a navíc ovlivnil i jeho sólovou hru. Popisuje nástroje a hráčskou techniku, kterou používal, a zaměřuje se na jeho tvorbu, jejíž význam hraje naprosto klíčovou roli v dějinách kontrabasové literatury. Náplní této práce je přinést nové informace a pohledy na život a tvorbu Johanna Matthiase Spergera s cílem lépe pochopit mistrův odkaz. Také by se měla pokusit zanechat další vodítka a indicie pro budoucí výzkum a možná tak i přispět k věrnější interpretaci jeho děl.The dissertation is entitled “Johann Matthias Sperger and his Epoch“ It aims to present a richer understanding of Sperger’s legacy and provide clues for future studies to develop a further more faithful interpretation of his body of work. To understand Sperger the dissertation begins by exploring his childhood with a focus on the historical and musical development of Sperger’s hometown of Valtice (in origin Feldsberg) from the 12th century until 1767 when Sperger left to further his studies in Vienna. The dissertation considers the wider role of the ancestral lines of the prominent Lichtenstein family and their significant patronage of music and culture in the region of Valtice in the period. Sperger’s carrer changed not only the perception of the double bass but also that of sólo double bass around the world. The dissertation analyses the key compositions, instruments and special player techniques that now form an important part of double bass literature

No full textThis thesis examines the philosopher and social critic Walter Benjamin’s concept of “aura” in light of recent technological developments in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). To this end, the empirical side of this research evaluates the narrative accuracy of large language models through a case study using Open AI’s Chat GPT3.5. Three different accounts of Walter Benjamin’s attempted escape and tragic fate are used as “prompts” (input) for Chat GPT, each selected to capture different types of historical narrative storytelling: Lisa Fittko’s memoir Escape Through the Pyrenees, Julie Orringer’s The Flight Portfolio and Anna Winger’s television series Transatlantic. The thesis evaluates the relevance, factual precision, and logical coherence of the AI’s output arising from the different prompts. The results are then used to discuss the applicability, relevance, and implications of Benjamin’s “aura” with respect to new generative technologies.Tato práce zkoumá pojem "aura" filozofa a sociálního kritika Waltera Benjamina ve vztahu k nedávnému technologickému vývoji v oblasti umělé inteligence (UI). Za tímto účelem výzkum hodnotí přesnost vyprávění velkých jazykových modelů prostřednictvím případové studie s využitím programu Chat GPT3.5 společnosti Open AI. Jako podněty pro Chat GPT jsou použita tři různá vyprávění o pokusu o útěk a tragickém osudu Waltera Benjamina, přičemž každé z nich bylo vybráno tak, aby zachytilo různé typy historického vyprávění: V tomto případě se jedná o memoáry Lisy Fittko Escape Through the Pyrenees, knihu Julie Orringerové The Flight Portfolio a televizní seriál Anny Wingerové Transatlantic. Práce hodnotí relevanci, faktografickou přesnost a logickou koherenci výstupů UI vzniklých na základě různých podnětů. Get PDFThis theoretical work explores Wong Kar-wai’s film “Chungking Express” (1994) through a neoformalist analysis. The first part covers the theoretical basis, and the specificities of the film, which argue for its selection as a case study. In the main chapter, the basic analytical tools examined in Kristin Thompson´s book “Breaking The Glass Armor”, are employed into a neoformalist analysis. The goal of the analysis is to confirm the hypothesis that the main dominant of the film, which organizes its formal elements, is the principle of ‘proximity without reciprocity’. This principle is explored on the stylistic, narrative and thematic level. The findings are summarized into a conclusion in the final chapter.Předmětem diplomové práce je neoformalistická analýza filmu “Chungking Express” (1994) hongkongského režiséra Wong Kar-waie. V úvodní části jsou upřesněna teoretická východiska a specifika filmu, která argumentují jeho výběr jako případové studie. V hlavní kapitole jsou metodologicky využity základní nástroje neoformalistické analýzy popsané v knize Kristin Thompsonové “Breaking The Glass Armor”. Get PDFVe své diplomové práci se zabývám rozborem forenzně-estetické praxe, která úzce souvisí s promluvou hmotných důkazů v době, pro kterou platí označení jako post-pravdivá či post-faktická. Zajímá mě, jak dnes přistupujeme k materiálnímu svědectví a jak se proměnila podoba materiálního svědka, který se čím dál tím více stává neopomenutelným aktérem v řešení válečných, politických, ekonomických a ekologických konfliktů. Zaměřím na napětí uvnitř forenzní estetiky, která je rozkročena mezi vědou a uměním. V průběhu své práce se budu neustále vracet k problematickému konstruování reality v souvislosti s evidencí stop a vytvářením faktů s nástroji forenzní estetiky a pokusím se popsat, podle jakých pravidel tato (re)konstrukce probíhá.In my master’s thesis, I deal with the analysis of forensic-aesthetic practice, which is closely related to the speech of material evidence at a time when the terms are post-truth or post-factual. I am interested in how we approach material testimony today, and how the shape of material witness has changed, increasingly becoming an unforgettable player in the resolution of war, political, economic and environmental conflicts. I'm going to focus on the tension within the forensic aesthetic straddling science and art. In the course of my work, I will constantly return to the problematic construction of reality in connection with the recording of tracks and the creation of facts with instruments of forensic aesthetics and try to describe according to which rules this (re)construction takes place
