Phenomenon of singing in piano literature
No full textPředmětem této práce je nalezení paralel mezi klavírní a pěveckou technikou 19. století. Důležitou složkou porozumění této problematice je historie a popis konkrétních technik, které na sebe v mnohém navazují. Mezi největší přínosy této teze patří diferenciace interpretací skladatelů zdánlivě podobných, avšak velmi odlišných – Fryderyka Chopina a Franze Liszta. Výchozím textem pro porovnání těchto významných entit hudební epochy je Klavier und Gesang Friedricha Wiecka. Velký důraz je kladen na popis bel cantové techniky, která svou tradicí sahá až do počátků 18. století a z něhož vychází frazeologie Chopinova a dalších romantických umělců. V opozici vůči tomuto stylu je Franz Liszt a Richard Wagner, kteří tento pro ně zpátečnický styl zavrhovali a snažili se hudebnímu proudu udat nový, neotřelý a brilantnější směr, jenž vedl k daleko propracovanější orchestraci, objemnějším orchestrům a daleko větším nárokům na operní zpěváky, kteří museli pod tíhou nezvratných změn opustit od stávající metody zpěvu. Tato zásadní změna se udála i v klavírní literatuře a používaní klavíru jako takového. Cílem je dokázat spojitost mezi hudbou klavírní a metodou pěveckou, která nám umožní lépe pochopit určitý konkrétní styl skladatele a naučit se pracovat se zápisem těchto mistrů.The object of this work is finding as many parallels as possible between piano and singing techniques of the 19th century. History and description of the techniques is an essential part of understanding this topic. One of the biggest benefits from this thesis is differentiation of interpretations of apparently similar composers – Fryderyk Chopin and Franz Liszt. The initial source for this study and comparison of these two giants is Klavier und Gesang by Friedrich Wieck. A big importance is put on the description of the bel canto technique. Its tradition lies in the 18th century and the phraseology of Chopin ́s and other romantic composers emerges from that singing style. In contrast, there is Franz Liszt followed by Richard Wagner, who were about to set a totally new approach to creating music. Their evolution contained bigger orchestras, richer orchestration and tougher demands on the singers, who had to change their style of singing completely according to those changes. This major change also emerged in piano literature and using the piano as a whole. The goal of this work is to be able to find a connection between the piano and the singing method, which would enable us to embrace a certain style and to work with the notation of certain composers

počas spievania. Práca bližšie opisuje dôležitosť vnímania vlastného tela a mysle pri
spievaní a prácu s nimi. Prvá kapitola opisuje životosprávu speváka, spevácky postoj, prácu
s telom pri spievaní a dôležitosť dýchania. Zoznamuje nás s technikou Respiro e movimento,
ktorá sa zaoberá uvoľňovaním napätia v tele, zbavovania trémy a dobrého vystupovania na
javisku. V druhej kapitole sa autorka práce zaoberá psychickými faktormi, ktoré negatívne
ovplyvňujú spev. Bližšie približuje problematiku trémy, jej príčiny vzniku a prejavy. Tretia
kapitola je venovaná uvoľňovacím technikám tela a mysle. Zoznamuje nás s rôznymi druhmi
dýchania a relaxácie. Posledná, štvrtá kapitola je venovaná joge a jej benefitom, ktoré
prináša pre spev.The topic of the bachelor thesis is the physical and mental factors that affect the body and
mind during singing. The thesis describes the importance of perceiving and working with our
own body and mind when singing. The first chapter describes the singer's lifestyle, singing
posture, working with the body while singing and the importance of breathing. It introduces
us to the Respiro e movimento technique, which deals with releasing tension in the body,
getting rid of stage fright and teaching us to perform naturally on stage. In the second
chapter, the author of the thesis deals with the psychological factors that negatively affect
singing. She takes a closer look at the issue of stage fright, its causes and symptoms. The
third chapter is devoted to relaxing techniques of the body and mind. It introduces us to
different types of breathing and relaxation. The last, fourth chapter is devoted to yoga and its
benefits for singing

Get PDFTato práce se zabývá konkurzními orchestrálními party pro hoboj. Popisuje obecně průběh konkurzu a přípravu hráče na konkurz, včetně srovnání rozdílů mezi hrou partů na konkurzu a v orchestru. Hlavní část práce se zaměřuje na nejfrekventovanější konkurzní party na pozice prvního a druhého hobojisty v orchestru. Stručně shrnuje historii skladeb a okolnosti jejich vzniku. Party jsou rozebrány z formálního i interpretačního hlediska a jsou zasazeny do kontextu skladeb. U každého partu jsou popsány technické a výrazové obtížnosti, včetně notových ukázek. Tato část práce by měla pomoci studentům k překonání dílčích technických problémů jednotlivých konkurzních partů a vést k jejich úspěšnému nastudování.This theses examines audition orchestral excerpts for oboe. It describes the overal process of an audition and audition preparation of a player, including comparison between playing ex-cerpts at an audition and playing in an orchestra. The main part of the thesis focuses on the most frequently played audition excerpts for positions for first and second oboist of the or-chestra. It briefly summarizes the history of the musical pieces and circumstances of their cre-ation. The excerpts are analyzed both formally and from an interpretive point of view and they are being placed in the musical context of the pieces. The technical and expressive difficulties are being described, including score examples. This part of the thesis should help students to overcome partial technical issues of each excerpt and lead to successful mastering of them

Get PDFTato bakalářská práce má za úkol přiblížit party lesních rohů v opeře Káťa Kabanová Leoše Janáčka. Mimo to sblíží čtenáře také s životem skladatele a samotnou operou, abychom lépe rozuměli hlavnímu tématu. Práce probíhala s celou partiturou a libretem k dosažení širšího pohledu a komplexního pochopení partů.
Přál bych si, aby téze napomohla v budoucnu hornistům k lepšímu porozumění jejich hlasů, zejména pak prvního lesního rohu, který je nejvytíženější. Nejlépe, aby zde hráči našli odpovědi na své interpretační otázky.
Přínosná by měla být především pro hráče na lesní roh, avšak své si zde mohou najít také dirigenti, kteří tak mohou lépe proniknout do problematiky nástroje a docílit většímu porozumění.This bachelor thesis aims to present the horn part in the opera Katya Kabanova by Leoš Janáček. Besides, it will also bring the reader closer to the composer's life and the opera itself in order to better understand the main theme. Work was done with the full score and libretto to achieve a broader perspective and a comprehensive understanding of the parts.
I would like the thesis to help horn players in the future to better understand their voices, especially the first horn, which is the busiest. Ideally, players will find answers to their interpretive questions here.
It should be especially beneficial for horn players, but conductors can also find their own here, so that they can better penetrate the problems of the instrument and achieve a greater understanding

Popisujeme zde také odlišnosti od žánru filmového. Pojmenováváme zavedené
způsoby, jakým videohry tradičně sdělují příběh svému hráči a dotýkáme se také
termínu ludonarativní disonance, abychom lépe nahlédli komplexnost tohoto
tématu, které je doposud z větší části v teoretické literatuře nepopsané.In this thesis our primary question was: „What is a videogame genre? “In a series of
interviews with prominent world game developers we have been analysing the ways
film genre overlaps with the videogame environment. We also tried to ask the
question of how to define the videogame genre and we were also describing the
differences between the videogame genre and the film genre. We also touch upon
established narrative models used in videogames as well as the term of
ludonarrative dissonance that helped us analyse this topic in its complexity as it was
not yet extensively analysed in theoretical literature

No full textTato bakalářská práce se zabývá rychle se rozvíjejícím fenoménem služeb video on demand, a to v kontextu zasažení audiovizuálního průmyslu pandemickou krizí, jež propukla v roce 2019. Cílem práce je, s odstupem tří let od první vlny pandemie, zmapovat, jaký vliv měla krize na vývoj a fungování těchto služeb a ověřit, zda se jednalo, na rozdíl od jiných sektorů, o pozitivní zásah, který může mít vliv i na další vývoj VOD platforem na tuzemském trhu. První část práce mapuje veškeré pojmy této oblasti, současnou nabídku a sledovanost. Jelikož je pro tyto služby bezprostředně zásadní divák a jeho návyky v další části jsou popsány, v souvislosti se současnou situací, výhody a nevýhody, které tyto služby pro diváckou obec přináší. V neposlední řadě se práce zaměřuje na samotný faktor pandemie na poli VOD služeb a audiovize obecně.The main focus of his bachelor thesis is the rapidly evolving phenomenon of video on demand services, in the context of the audiovisual industry's pandemic crisis that erupted in 2019. The aim of the work, three years on from the first wave of the pandemic, is to map out the effect this crisis has had on the development and functioning of these services and to verify whether, unlike other sectors, it has been a positive intervention which may also have an impact on the further development of VOD platforms in the domestic market. The first part of the thesis maps all the concepts of this area, the current offer and audience. As the viewer and his/her habits are immediately crucial for these services, the next part describes, in the context of the current situation, the advantages and disadvantages that these services bring for the audience community. Last but not least, the thesis focuses on the pandemic factor itself in the field of VOD services and cinematography in general

No full textTato práce se zabývá koncepčním a scénografickým řešením románu Alenka v říši divů. V tomto pojetí je Alenka ztracena ve virtuálním světě. V teoretické části jsou řešeny otázky Kdo je Alenka? Co je říše divů? a Co je skutečnost?. Pro zodpovězení těchto otázek je věnován prostor pojmům digitální revoluce, kyberprostor, simulace, ontologické bezpečí a eskapismus. Praktická část je věnována popisu jednotlivých scén a kostýmů. Rovněž se věnuje postupu při tvorbě videomappingu, který je ústředním vizuálním prvkem scénografie.
Součástí této práce jsou také scénografická řešení zbylých prací v průběhu studia. Jsou jimi Herkules a Augiášův chlév, Bakchantky a Mort.This thesis dealls with conceptual and scenographic solution of novel Alice´s Adventures in Wonderland. In this conception is Alice lost in virtual reality. Main questions solved in main part of this thesis are Who is Alice? What is Wonderland? And What is real?. For answering these questions, those important notions are involved: digital revolution, cyberspace, simulation, oncological safety and escapism. Practical part is dedicated to description of scenes and costumes. Also is dedicated to way, how videomapping, which is the most immportant part of this scenographic solution, is made.

Jádro práce tvoří narativní analýza, jež si klade za cíl prozkoumat morálnost těchto postav za pomoci utilitaristické teorie morálky. České filmy se dávají do komparace s tvorbou americkou a hledají se východiska pro další směřování charakterizace mafiánů v české tvorbě. Závěr nabízí několik směrů, kudy se budoucí autoři mohou vydat, aby postavy mafiánů ve filmech působili pro diváky atraktivněji.This thesis examines the characters of mafiosi in Czech post-revolutionary films. At the core of the thesis is a narrative analysis that aims to explore the morality of these characters using a utilitarian theory of morality. Czech films are compared with American works and grounds are sought for further direction of the characterisation of mafiosi in Czech films. The conclusion offers some directions authors can take to make the characters of mafiosi in films more attractive

Uvádí její práci do kontextu některých z mnoha konceptů, myšlenek a praxí experimentální hudební tvorby a předestírá, jakým způsobem v hudební kompozici využívala fenomén známý jako otoakustické emise.
Práce se rovněž zabývá konceptem vtěleného poslechu a jeho potenciálem upozornit posluchače na konkrétní procesy, které přispívají k jeho aktivní participaci v rámci poslechu hudby. Tato práce obsahuje podrobnou analýzu díla Sound Characters vypracovanou na základě subjektivního zážitku autorky.This thesis’ main concern is the work of Maryanne Amacher, with emphasis on her album Sound Characters (making the third ear). It puts her work into context of some of many concepts, thoughts and practices of experimental music and shows how she used a phenomenon known as ottoacoustic emissions in the process of composing. Additionaly it speaks about concept of embodied listening and it’s potential of making the listener an active participant of the composition. It contains throughout analysis of the album Sound Characters based on the subjective experience of the author
