Get PDFPráce se zabývá protínáním divadelního kostýmu a běžného oděvu, především ve vztahu k recyklaci a cirkulaci obého, v evropském, potažmo severoamerickém kontextu. Spíše než na důvody praktické a ekonomické se zaměřuje na možný význam, který sebou takové oděvy mohou nést, a to skrze pohled historiků a sociologů, jejichž texty užívám jako výchozí hledisko. Tématicky se jednotlivé pasáže vztahují i k výzkumu v rámci přípravy praktické části mé bakalářské práce, čímž byly návrhy a realizace kostýmů pro absolventské představení UNCANNY: strach má velké oči v Divadle Disk, která měla premiéru 28. 4. 2023 (režie Domen Šuman, dramaturgie Julie Vaňková, Tinka Avramová, scénografie Martin Tůma, kostýmy ve spolupráci se Susanou Botero Santos). Text je tak hlubším vhledem do vazeb mezi tématy, jež byli motivem představení.This thesis deals with the intersection of theatrical costume and ordinary clothing, especially in relation to recycling and circulation, with focus on European and North American cultural backdrop. Its intent is on the possible meaning that such clothes may carry, rather than practical and economic reasons. The perspective of historians and sociologists is used as a starting point of view for the final text. The themes of the individual passages also relate to research and preparations of the practical part of my bachelor's thesis, which was the design and realization of costumes for the graduation performance UNCANNY: fear has great eyes at the Disk Theater, which premiered on 28/04/2023 (directed by Domen Šuman, dramaturgy by Julie Vaňková, Tinka Avramová, scenography by Martin Tůma, costumes in collaboration with Susana Botero Santos). Get PDFCílem mé bakalářské práce je přiblížit čtenáři raná díla jednoho z nejvýznamnějších českých skladatelů Bohuslava Martinů, zejména pak jeho tvorbu pro housle a klavír. Vrcholné sonáty pro housle a klavír jsou velmi často prováděné a známé, zatímco skladby ze skladatelova mládí bývají často opomíjeny a netěší se takové frekventovanosti mezi interprety a posluchači.
Na začátku mé práce bude stručně přiblížen životopis Bohuslava Martinů, především doby před jeho odchodem do Francie. V krátkosti bude představen také Stanislav Novák, který byl skladateli velmi blízkým přítelem a byl důležitý zejména pro jeho houslovou tvorbu. Shrnu dostupné informace o dochovaných i nedochovaných skladbách z raného období a vůbec první dílo pro housle a klavír, Elegii H3, podrobím analýze.The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to introduce the reader to the early works of one of the most important Czech composers Bohuslav Martinů, especially his works for violin and piano. The early sonatas for violin and piano are widely performed and well-known, while the works from the composer's youth are often neglected and do not enjoy as much popularity among performers and listeners.
To begin my thesis, a brief biography of Bohuslav Martinů will be given, especially of the period before his departure for France. Stanislav Novák, who was a very close friend of the composer and was particularly important for his violin works, will also be briefly introduced. I will summarize the available information on the surviving and non-remaining works from the early period and analyze the very first work for violin and piano, Elegy H3

Get PDFEclectically drawing upon literature and art works from various fields, in this thesis I reflect upon and contextualise the process of devising respectively my first-year performance and my final performance in MA DOT: The River Creature and The Peculiar Prague Pigeon Post Performance with Pipes. In both performances, albeit in very different ways, I search for something amorphous and unknown, something that keeps escaping me and that can only be perceived as signs and traces, but never in its entirety. Starting from the shared topic of search, I explore the effects (dramaturgical, performative and thematic) that the search itself produces and how these effects influence my method of devising and the performances themselves. Through the search, then, I study the relationships between many opposite concepts such as chance and control, reality and fiction, forward process-orientedness and backward sense-making, failure and success, trust and distrust, absence and presence, object and subject and how they behave in and influence my particular process of devising. Working with the opposites in the search, I propose - and remind myself - to always add an order-resisting and duality-blurring bug to the performance-machine. I argue that only by creating a new (performative) language of irrational signs, the amorphous - or the fictional within the real - can peek out; only by deliberately placing a bug, one can embrace and maybe create the amorphous.V této diplomové práci na základě literárních a uměleckých odkazů reflektuji a uvádím do širšího kontextu tvůrčí procesy, ze kterých vycházela moje performance v prvním ročníku The River Creature a můj závěrečný projekt The Peculiar Prague Pigeon Performance with Pipes. V obou performancích jsem pátrala (ač odlišnými způsoby) po čemsi beztvarém a neznámém, něčem, co mi neustále uniká a co je možné vnímat pouze jako znaky a obrysy, ale nikdy jako celek. V rámci tématu hledání, které je součástí obou projektů, zkoumám (dramaturgické, performativní a tematické) efekty vytvářené samotným hledáním, a jak tyto efekty ovlivnily moji metodu devisingu a samotné projekty. Zkoumala jsem vztahy mezi náhodou a kontrolou, realitou a fikcí, kupředu směřujícímu procesu tvorby a zpátky se ohlížejícímu hledání významu, důvěrou a nedůvěrou, úspěchem a neúspěchem, přítomností a nepřítomností, a objektem a subjektem, a také jejich vliv na můj tvůrčí proces. Díky nabytým zkušenostem navrhuji a také si sama připomínám vždy zakomponovat skrytou chybu do mašinérie performační tvorby, která odporuje jejímu řádu a smazává rozdíly mezi zmíněnými tematickými dvojicemi. Tvrdím, že pouze vytvořením nového (performativního) jazyka iracionálních znaků může amorfní nebo fiktivní v reálném vyznít; pouze záměrným umístěním "chyby" lze amorfní přijmout a možná i ztvárnit

animovanom filme. Jej zámerom je preskúmať vplyv realistického zobrazovania v animovanom
filme ale len v rámci jej obrazovej stránky a nijako nehodnotiť dejový realizmus. Hyperrealizmus je
pomerne nový úkaz, ktorý sa objavil s technickým pokrokom a dnešný priemerný divák už skoro
nerozozná snímanú skutočnosť od generovanej v počítači. Je nepopierateľné, že CG filmy sa dnes
tešia veľkému záujmu u divákoch. Prečo tomu ale tak je? A tak ako sa animovaný film definuje na
základe svojich dvoch strán tak sa na negatívny a pozitívny vplyv hyperrealizmu zamerame z
dvoch strán. A to ako z tej teoretickej tak z tej praktickej respektíve technickej stránky.The aim of this bachelor's thesis dissertation is to investigate visual hyperrealism in an animated
film. His goal is to analyze the impact of realistic visualization in an animated film, but only from a
visual standpoint, rather than evaluating storyline realism in any way. Hyperrealism is a relatively
new phenomena that has emerged with technological progress. The ordinary viewer today can't tell
the difference between scanned reality and computer-generated reality. It is evident that CG films
are gaining popularity among spectators today. What is the reason for this? An animated film is
defined on the basis of its two sides, so we will focus on the negative and positive influence of
hyperrealism from two sides - from the theoretical and from the technica

ensemble, and important personalities who fundamentally influenced the ensemble's

Musical analysis of birdsong of the finch family
Get PDFV bakalářské práci jsem se zabývala analýzou zpěvu ptáků. Z říše ptáků jsem ke zkoumání vybrala řád pěvců, čeleď pěnkavovití. Z čeledi pěnkavovitých jsem k analýze vybrala rody pěnkava, hýl, křivka a zvonek. Dřívější badatelé zapisovali ptačí zpěv do not a přirovnávali jej k hudebním nástrojům. Toto mě vedlo k tomu objasnit, jaké postupy ptáci při zpěvu používají a co má ptačí zpěv společného s naší hudbou. K analýze jsem využila nahrávky, které vytvořil český ornitolog Pavel Pelz. Metodou mé analýzy bylo vytvoření spektrogramů, zápis ptačího zpěvu do not a rozbor ptačího zpěvu z hlediska hudebních forem. Výsledkem analýzy bylo zjištění, že ptáci mají tendenci vracet se k jedné frekvenci (tónice), z čehož vyplývají další otázky, které zatím nejsou zodpovězeny.In my bachelor's thesis I analyzed birdsong. From the kingdom of birds I chose songbirds and from songbirds I chose the finch family. From the finch family I selected four birds: chaffinch, bullfinch, crossbill and the greenfinch. Earlier researchers recorded birdsong and transcribed it to sheet music and then they compared it to various musical instruments. This led me to study birdsong and clarify the procedures birds use while singing. I also studied the similarities between birdsong and human music. For the analysis I used recordings made by Czech ornithologist Pavel Pelz. The method of my analysis was creation of spectrograms, transcription of birdsong into sheet music and also studying birdsong in terms of musical forms. The result of my analysis was the finding that birds have a tendency to return to one specific frequency (keynote), which leads to other questions that have not yet been answered
A Neoformalist Analysis of the Haunting Motifs in Falcon Lake (2022)
Get PDFVe své bakalářské práci provádím neoformalistickou analýzu duchařských a záhrobních motivů ve filmu Falcon Lake (2022). Cílem mé bakalářské práce je prostřednictvím neoformalistické analýzy doložit, že užité duchařské a záhrobní motivy jsou základním stavebním principem filmu, který propojuje rovinu tematickou, narativní i stylovou a téma první lásky a dospívání tak prohlubuje o nový autorský pohled.
Analýzu dělím do tří částí podle vývoje duchařských a záhrobních motivů ve vztahu k příběhu a jeho postavám.
V části Tajemný přízrak Chloe analyzuji funkci stylistických prostředků připodobňujících Chloe k tajemnému přízraku, v části Bastien se stává duchem reflektuji Bastienovu postupnou proměnu z dítěte v dospívajícího chlapce a v části Dovršení proměny se zaměřuji na finální vývoj užitých duchařských a záhrobních motivů ve vztahu k tématu filmu.In my bachelor's thesis, I conduct a neo-formalist analysis of haunting motifs in the film Falcon Lake (2022). The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to demonstrate through the neo-formalist analysis that the employed ghostly and afterlife motifs are a fundamental structural principle of the film, linking thematic, narrative, and stylistic levels, and thereby deepening the theme of first love and coming of age by a new perspective.
I divide the analysis into three parts according to the development of the ghostly and afterlife motifs in relation to the story and its characters. In the section Chloe as a Ghost, I analyze the function of stylistic devices likening Chloe to a ghost. In the section Bastien Becoming a Ghost, I reflect on Bastien's gradual transformation from a child into a teenage boy through the motif of becoming a ghost. Finally, in the section Final Transformation, I focus on the final development of the employed ghostly and afterlife motifs in relation to the film's theme

Get PDFTato práce se zabývá často opomíjeným tématem datového managementu v profesi filmového zvukaře. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s možnostmi správy dat nejen vlastních, ale i s možnostmi správy dat v procesu výroby audiovizuálního díla. Práce se opírá částečně o metodu kompilační, rozšířenou o kvalitativní výzkum metodou hloubkového rozhovoru. Autor si neklade za cíl poskytnout vyčerpávající vhled do technických detailů datové správy. Práce by ale měla být prakticky přínosná pro zvukové profesionály i teoretiky, kteří v tuto chvíli nemají dostatek pramenů, a často jsou nuceni čerpat z ústních dohod a konvencí. Na toto téma se autorovi nepodařilo dohledat jinou VŠKP, proto předpokládám, že práce bude přínosná i v teoretickém ukotvení problematiky.This thesis deals with the often overlooked topic of data management in the profession of film sound engineers. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the possibilities of data management not only for their own data, but also for data management in the process of audiovisual production. The thesis relies partly on the compilation method, extended by qualitative research using the in-depth interview method. The author does not aim to provide an exhaustive insight into the technical details of data management. However, the thesis should be of practical use to audio professionals and theorists, who at the moment lack sufficient sources and are often forced to draw on oral agreements and conventions. The author has not been able to track down another bachelor degree theses on this topic, so I expect the thesis to be useful in the theoretical anchoring of the issue as well
