Paul Hindemith and his sonats for french horn
Full text linkMá bakalářská práce se zabývá dvěma sonátami pro lesní roh od Paula Hindemitha. Tyto dvě
sonáty patří k nejhranějším sonátám hornovému repertoáru, a proto jsem si je vybrala. V mé
bakalářské práci se zmiňuji o životě a díle Paula Hindemitha. V další kapitole se zaměřuji na
hudebně formální analýzu těchto sonát. V poslední části této bakalářské práce se zamýšlím
nad didaktickým a interpretačním hlediskem. S touto problematikou mi pomáhali pan profesor
pražské konzervatoře Petr Hernych a profesoři HAMU Ondřej Vrabec a Jan Vobořil. Společně
zjišťujeme, co se na těchto sonátách z hlediska techniky a frázování naučit. Na co si dát pozor
při jejich interpretaci. S tím vším rovněž souvisí hudební a technická vyzrálost hráče.My bachelors thesis deals with two horn sonatas by Paul Hindemith. These two sonatas
belong to the most played sonatas and that is why I chose them. In my bachelor thesis I
mention the life and work of Paul Hindemith. In the next chapter, I focus on the musically formal
analysis of these sonatas. In the last part of this bachelor's thesis, I reflect on the didactic and
presentation aspects. Professor Petr Hernych of the Prague Conservatory and professors
Ondřej Vrabec and Jan Vobořil of HAMU helped me with this issue. Together, we find out what
to learn from these sonatas in terms of technique and phrasing. What to watch out for when
interpreting them. The musical and technical maturity of the player is also related to all of this

Full text linkPředmětem této práce je srovnání románu Utrpení Mladého Werthera od německého spisovatele Johanna Wolfganga Goetha a opery Werther francouzského skladatele Julese Masseneta, která byla podle románu o téměř sto let později složena. Velký důraz je kladen na historický kontext obou období, kdy díla vznikala, základní informace o autorech a také hlavních postavách románu. Jako optimální metodiku srovnání obou děl jsem se rozhodla pro rozbor stěžejních momentů v opeře. Výsledek rozboru ukazuje skladatelovu jedinečnost zachytit, zhmotnit a přenést emoce do hudby tím a dosáhnout absolutní emoční autenticity, což ovlivnilo nejen mnoho skladatelů té doby, ale i budoucích a pomohlo se tím utvářet celé další hudební období, které tím získalo nástroje romantismus ve všech směrech prohloubit. Dle mého názoru tím bylo dosaženo takzvané romantické verifikace, což by se dalo chápat jako romantický realismus a tím vytvořit perfektní podhoubí pro verismus v opeře.The object of this work is comparison between a novel The sorrows of young Werther written by German author Johann Wolfgang Goethe and the opera Werther, composed almost hundred years later by french composer Jules Massenet.The main emphasis is put on historical context of both time periods when the works were written and composed and also on the basic information about the authors themselves and the main characters in the novel. The optimal method for the comparison of both works I chose the analysis of the key moments in the opera. The result of analysis shows the composers uniqueness to capture the emotions and shift it into the music which led to emotional authenticity which many authors were influenced by. All together it helped deepen romanticism and set the paramateres for estabilishing romantic verification which could be understood as romantic realism and therefore create perfect conditions for the upcoming verismo in opera

in shaping the narrative and sound landscape of Hamaguchi's films, offering a fresh perspective on the significance of listening in cinema.Skrze teoretické rámce Emmanuela Levinase (Visage) a Michela Chiona (tři módy poslechu) analyzuje tato práce specifické využití mluveného slova ve filmech Ryusuke Hamaguchiho. Krása hlasového projevu a důmyslná práce s tónem řeči v jeho filmech, vede diváky k různorodým způsobům naslouchání zvukovým významům. Analýzou narativní struktury a jedinečného přístupu k řeči odhaluje studie akt poslechu jako jeden z klíčových prostředků chápání Hamaguchiho estetiky. Vybrané klíčové scény jeho filmů demonstrují způsob práce s tónem řeči a se třemi způsoby poslechu (přirozený, sémantický a redukovaný), který přispívá k hloubce a autenticitě jeho filmového vyjádření. Zároveň poukazují na rozdělení řečnických rolí na vypravěče, partnera v rozhovoru a recitátora. Tento text se zabývá vztahem zvuku a hlasu a zdůrazňuje roli řeči při utváření narativního a zvukového prostředí Hamaguchiho filmů čímž nabízí nový pohled na důležitost naslouchání zvukovému vyjádření

No full textTato práce je založena na zkoumání filmu Hallelujah the Hills režiséra Adolfase Mekase. Za cíl si klade film historicky zařadit, přiblížit jeho přínos a inovativnost. Obhájit jeho místo v historii kinematografie - poukázat na důležité faktory a okolnosti vzniku tohoto filmu, které jsou spjaty nejen s New American Cinema, ale také s vlivy evropských nových vln a jejich představitelů. Zdrojem k bádání je samotný Mekasův film, jeho vlastní deníky a vzpomínky, dále také americké periodikum včetně archivu jeho bratra Jonase Mekase.This work is based on the research of the movie Hallelujah the Hills directed by Adolfas Mekas. The aim of this thesis is to historically classify the movie, clarify its contribution and innovativeness. Furthermore to defend its position in the history of cinematography and point out the important factors and circumstances of the movie formation which are connected to not only the New American Cinema but also to the influences of the new European waves and their representatives. The source of the research is the movie of Mekas, his own diaries and memories, additionally the American periodical including the archive of his brother Jonas Mekas

praxe a analyzuje rozdílné přístupy k herectví v daných inscenacích. Pracuji v ní s pojmem
hereckého inventáře, neboť tento princip mi umožňuje zjednodušeně popsat a kategorizovat
různé složky herecké práce. Tato práce si klade za cíl, na základě přesného popisu
konkrétních okolností a prostředků, popsat krok za krokem hereckou práci, u každého projektu
výrazně odlišnou. Tímto popisem nejen odhalí okolnosti, které mohou při běžné představě
herectví připadat člověku zvenku jako věci samozřejmé, ale i popsat okolnosti, které vznikly
nevědomky, v podvědomí, či nezáměrně. Konkrétním pojmenováním však získají
zaslouženou důležitost a mohou sloužit jako inspirace či odrazový můstek pro práci budoucí.The bachelor's thesis "Acting Inventory" compares six specific theatre performances from my
own acting experience and analyses different approaches to acting in the given productions.
In this thesis, I work with the concept of an actor's inventory, as this principle allows me to
simply describe and categorize the various components of an actor's work. This work aims,
based on a precise description of specific circumstances and means, to describe step by step,
my work of an actor, which significantly differs for each project. This description will not only
reveal circumstances that from the outside may appear to be self-evident, but also describe
circumstances that arose unconsciously, subconsciously, or unintentionally. However by being
given a specific name, they gain the importance they deserve and can serve as an inspiration
or a stepping stone for future work

Full text linkPředkládaná diplomová práce podrobně rozebírá literaturu pro klavír a orchestr (ansámbl) jednoho z nejvýznamnějších českých skladatelů druhé poloviny 20. století, Viktora Kalabise. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. První část přehledně mapuje profesionální životopis autora i jeho ženy, Zuzany Růžičkové a stručně charakterizuje jeho významná díla pro klavír. Další části podrobně analyzují dvě Kalabisova díla pro klavír a orchestr. Koncerty Viktora Kalabise se v dnešní době na koncertních pódiích objevují spíše zřídka. Předkládaná diplomová práce si klade za cíl vyzdvihnout hodnotu obou skladeb, jejich kompoziční přínos a interpretační vstřícnost. Analyzuje formální přístup a řešení hlavních interpretačních problémů, především volbu temp či zvukovou vyváženost mezi klavírem a orchestrem (ansámblem). U prvního klavírního koncertu se navíc zaměřuje na metodický nácvik konkrétních technicky problematických pasáží.The presented master's thesis extensively analyzes the literature for piano and orchestra (ensemble) of one of the most significant Czech composers of the second half of the 20th century, Viktor Kalabis. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part provides a clear overview of the author's professional biography and that of his wife, Zuzana Růžičková, and briefly characterizes his significant piano works. The following parts thoroughly analyze two of Kalabis's works for piano and orchestra. Viktor Kalabis's concerts are performed relatively rarely on today's concert stages. The presented master's thesis aims to highlight the value of both compositions, their compositional contributions, and their interpretive flexibility. It analyzes the formal approach and solutions to the main interpretive issues, especially the choice of tempo and sound balance between the piano and the orchestra (ensemble). The case of the first piano concerto also focuses on the methodical practice of specific technically challenging passages
Analysis of the Phenomenon of Success of Korean Singers in International Competitions.
Full text linkHistorie západní hudby v Koreji se za poslední století rychle vyvíjela, přičemž významné změny byly patrné zejména po korejské válce(1950- 1953), v období, které bylo poznamenáno značným hospodářským růstem. Tento hospodářský pokrok vedl od konce 50. let k nárůstu počtu studentů, kteří odcházeli studovat hudbu do zahraničí. Na začátku 21. století začali tito studenti, po ukončení svých studií a návratu do Koreje, vychovávat novou generaci hudebníků, což vedlo k jejich významným úspěchům na různých mezinárodních soutěžích. Korejští hudebníci vynikli v několika instrumentálních kategoriích a zejména ve vokální hudbě, kde je nezbytná znalost různých jazyků.
Tato práce si klade za cíl zkoumat úspěch korejských hudebníků na soutěžích a analyzovat systémy hudebního vzdělávání v Koreji a České republice. Zaměřením na „fenomén úspěchu mezi korejskými zpěváky“ tato studie představuje charakteristiky korejského jazyka a porovnává je s jazyky jiných asijských zemí, jako je Japonsko a Čína, aby prozkoumala výhody, které korejština zpěvákům poskytuje. Závěry tohoto výzkumu přispějí k hlubšímu pochopení faktorů stojících za mezinárodním úspěchem korejských zpěváků a vzdělávacích a kulturních vlivů.The history of Western music in Korea has evolved rapidly over the past century, with significant developments particularly evident following the Korean War(1950- 1953), a period marked by substantial economic growth. This economic advancement led to a surge in the number of students pursuing music studies abroad starting in the late 1950s. By the 2000s, these students, having completed their studies and returned to Korea, began cultivating the next generation of musicians, resulting in notable successes for Korean musicians in various international competitions. Korean musicians have excelled in multiple instrumental categories and particularly in vocal music, where proficiency in various languages is essential.
This thesis aims to examine the success of Korean musicians in competitions and analyze the music education systems of Korea and the Czech Republic. By focusing on the 'phenomenon of success among Korean singers', this study introduces the characteristics of the Korean language and compares it with the languages of other Asian countries such as Japan and China to investigate the advantages that Korean provides for singers. The findings of this research will contribute to a deeper understanding of the factors behind the international success of Korean singers and the educational and cultural influences involved
Forgotten Visions of Japanese Cyberpunk

V práci jsou analyzována klíčová témata nezávislých autorů a jejich filmů, která byla v jednotlivých dílech tvůrců opomíjena v kontextu globální diskuze o žánru cyberpunku. Práce přibližuje stěžejní prvky jednotlivých děl, historii za jejich vznikem a inovativní techniky, které autoři používali v nezávislé filmové tvorbě v Japonsku. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak tato díla vznikala a jakým způsobem obohatila kinematografii. Jedná se o experimentální filmová díla, která originálně pracují s filmovým jazykem a hudbou. Práce popisuje filmová díla tří autorů. Těmi jsou: Gakuryu Ishii, Shinya Tsukamoto a Shozin Fukui.This bachelor thesis focuses on exploring forgotten visions of Japanese cyberpunk. The thesis analyses key themes of independent filmmakers and their films that have been neglected in the individual filmmakers' works in the context of the global discussion of the cyberpunk genre. The thesis introduces the key elements of each work, the history behind their creation, and the innovative techniques used by the authors in independent filmmaking in Japan. The thesis aims to identify how these works were created and how they have enriched cinema. These are experimental film works that work with film language and music in an innovative way. No full textCílem této práce je prozkoumat problematiku měření expozice v digitální kinematografii pomocí nástroje EL Zone System. Práce představuje principy a popis fungování EL Zone Systemu, vliv logaritmických křivek a expozičního indexu na jeho funkci. Dále se věnuje srovnání tohoto nástroje s ostatními digitálními či analogovými nástroji určenými pro měření expozice. Zabývá se také výhodami a úskalími, které použití EL Zone Systemu v kameramanské praxi přináší. Praktická část této práce je věnována popisu využití EL Zone Systemu během natáčení filmových projektů, analýze způsobu použití EL Zone Systemu při natáčení testů světelných poměrů a testu zaměřeného na samotný EL Zone System a jeho clonovou škálu.The aim of this thesis is to explore the issue of exposure measurement in digital cinematography using the EL Zone System tool. The work presents the principles and functioning of the EL Zone System, as well as the influence of logarithmic curves and exposure index on its operation. Furthermore, it compares this tool with other digital and analog tools designed for exposure measurement. The thesis also addresses the advantages and challenges that the use of the EL Zone System brings to cinematography practice. The practical part of this work is dedicated to describing the use of the EL Zone System during the filming of movie projects, analyzing the method of using the EL Zone System when shooting lighting ratio tests, and a test focused on the EL Zone System itself and its exposure scale

První část se zaměřuje na popis konstrukce a technických možností obou nástrojů, včetně jejich historického vývoje. Druhá část obsahuje rozhovory s českými interprety Jaroslavem Roučkem a Josefem Sadílkem, které ukazují rozdílné přístupy k interpretaci barokního repertoáru. Závěrečná část se věnuje výrobě a prodeji piccolo trubky, barokní trubky a součastí jsou medailonky několika výrobců.This bachelor's thesis compares the interpretation of Baroque music on the natural Baroque instrument, the clarina, and the modern chromatic piccolo trumpet. The first part focuses on the description of the construction and technical possibilities of both instruments, including their historical development. The second part includes interviews with Czech performers Jaroslav Rouček and Josef Sadílek, which illustrate different approaches to interpreting the Baroque repertoire. The final part is devoted to the production and sale of the piccolo trumpet and the Baroque trumpet and includes profiles of several manufacturers
