    ANALISIS USAHATANI JAMUR TIRAM PUTIH (Pleurotus ostreatus) DI KECAMATAN UNGARAN TIMUR KABUPATEN SEMARANG

    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan, kelayakan finansial, dan pengaruh biaya baglog dan tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan usahatani jamur tiram putih. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Ungaran Timur, Kabupaten Semarang dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analisis ex post facto. Penlitian dilakukan dengan cara sensus menggunakan 41 orang petani jamur tiram putih sebagai responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan: rumus pendapatan;  kelayakan finansial (R/C ratio, BEP& ROI). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh biaya baglog dan tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda (uji-F, uji-t dan R2adj.). Hasil penelitian rata-rata skala usaha +7.539 baglog per periode produksi (3 – 4 bulan) : 1). Pendapatan = Rp. 13.516.498,-, 2). R/C ratio = 2,00, BEP(Q) = 1.278 kg, BEP(Rp) = Rp. 5.823,-/kg, ROI = 87,00%. Ada pengaruh yang sangat signifikan dari biaya baglog dan tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan (P<1%). Persamaan Regresi :  = -5.541.231 + 0,987 X1**+ 3,282 X2** + ?, R2adj = 0,887.  Kesimpulan : usahatani jamur tiram putih menguntungkan, layak secara finansial untuk diusahakan, dan ada pengaruh yang sangat signifikan dari biaya baglog dan tenaga kerja terhadap pendapatan. Kata kunci : Jamur Tiram, Kelayakan, Pendapatan, Usahatan

    PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SARI WORTEL PADA YOGHURT DITINJAU DARI AW, KADAR AIR, VISKOSITAS, TOTAL ASAM TERTITRASI DAN KADAR PROTEIN

    Yogurt is a form of beverage product from milk processing that utilizes microbes (Streptococcus thermophillus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus.). In the fermentation process of fresh milk into a semi-solid emulsion product, yogurt also has high nutritional content, one of which is protein. and low in fat. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal percentage of addition of carrot juice to improve the quality of yogurt in terms of water activity (AW), viscosity, total titrated acid and water content. The ingredients used are cow's milk, carrot juice and plain yogurt starter. Iodine, 75% alcohol and distilled water. The method used in this research is experimental method Comletely Block Design of 5 treatments, namely the addition of carrot juice to yogurt with a concentration of 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%. volume of milk (1 liter), with each treatment repeated 4 times. Data analysis used ANOVA (Analysis of Variance), followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the addition of carrot juice to yogurt could increase the value of Aw: P0 (0.9) to P4 (0.96), water content: P0 (88.96%) to P4 (92.58%), the total acid value. titration: P0 (0.57%) to P4 (0.67%) and protein content value: P0 (2.97%) to P4 (4.89%), the viscosity value decreased from P0 (216.75) cP) becomes P4 (148.00 cP). Based on the research analysis, it can be concluded that the use of carrot juice with a concentration of 15% gives the best results for yogurt with a value of Aw (0.94), water content (91.21%), viscosity (177.75 cP), total acid titrated (0 , 65%), and protein content (4.26%)

    PENGARUH SUBSTITUSI PAKAN KOMERSIAL DENGAN PAKAN KONSENTRAT BUATAN TERHADAP PERFORMANS ITIK UMUR 2 MINGGU

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi pakan komersial dengan pakan konsentrat buatan terhadap bobot hidup, pertambahan bobot badan harian dan konversi ransum ternak itik umur 2-10 minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan itik sebanyak 36 ekor dan ditempatkan dalam 12 kandang yang masing-masing berukuran 1x1 meter. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah pakan komersial BR2 100% (P0), Pakan komersial BR2 50% + Pakan konsentrat buatan 50% (P1) dan Pakan konsentrat buatan 100% (P2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang nyata terhadap variabel bobot hidup ternak itik umur dua minggu sampai 10 minggu (1.497,08 gram/ekor/hari) dan pertambahan bobot badan harian ternak itik (21,50 gram/ekor/hari) namun memberi pengaruh nyata terhadap konversi ransum untuk setiap perlakuan (P0:4,85, P1:5,52 dan P2:6,63). Disimpulkan bahwa pakan konsentrat buatan (P2) dapat mengganti 100% pakan komersial BR2 dengan nilai konversi ransum yang lebih tinggi namun diimbangi dengan harga yang lebih ekonomis.

    AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi tepung daun mengkudu dan tepung daun pepaya pada usaha pemeliharaan ayam pedaging. Materi yang digunakan yaitu 60 ekor day old chick  yang dibagi dalam 4 kelompok perlakuan yaitu pemberian pakan komersial tanpa  penggantian dengan kombinasi tepung daun mengkudu dan tepung daun pepaya (T-0); penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi Tepung Daun Mengkudu sebanyak 1,5 % dan Tepung Daun Pepaya sebanyak 0,5 % (T-1); penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi Tepung Daun Mengkudu sebanyak 1,0 % dan Tepung Daun Pepaya sebanyak 1,0 % (T-2); penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi Tepung Daun Mengkudu sebanyak 0,5 % dan Tepung Daun Pepaya sebanyak 1,5 % (T-3). Variabel yang diamati adalah feed convertion, feed cost per gain dan income over feed cost. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai konversi pakan untuk masing-masing perlakuan yaitu 1,51 (T0), 1,28 (T1), 1,27 (T2) dan 1,26 (T3),  feed cost per gain yaitu  Rp. 11.994,36,- (T0), Rp. 11.015,38,- (T1), Rp. 10.570,78,- (T2) dan Rp. 10.521,78,- (T3),  sedangkan untuk income over feed cost yaitu Rp. 66.857,39,- (T-0), Rp. 79.137,50,- (T-1), Rp. 79.596,05,- (T2) dan Rp. 86.148,45,- (T-3). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi tepung daun mengkudu dan tepung daun pepaya dapat menurunkan nilai konversi pakan, menekan biaya pakan (feed cost per gain) dan memberikan pendapatan yang lebih tinggi.  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi tepung daun mengkudu dan tepung daun pepaya mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pada usaha pemeliharaan ayam broiler. Kata kunci: Pakan komersial, tepung daun mengkudu, tepung daun pepaya dan analisis ekonomi

    PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF EDIBLE FILM BASED ON CASSAVA PEEL STARCH

    Cassava peel is an agro-industrial waste that is not used or not recycled. Based on the carbohydrate content of cassava peel, which is 50% of the weight of the peel, so that the cassava peel can be used as an ingredient for making edible films. Edible film is a thin layer made of natural ingredients that are safe for consumption. The biodegradable nature and can be used in this edible makes edibles used because they can be an alternative to synthetic plastics and are environmentally friendly. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical properties and mechanisms of the edible film of cassava peel starch. This study used a simple randomized block design (RBD) with 3 levels, namely A1(2%), A2(4%), A3(6%) with 3 replications. Research data on cassava peel characteristics showed water content (14.62%), starch content (73.29%), amylose content (21.02%), amylopectin content (52.27%), and HCN content (7.01%). %). The results of the edible physical and mechanical properties showed the value of tensile strength 0.08 – 0.37 Mpa, thickness 0.09 – 0.17 mm, WVTR 0.26 – 0.39 g/m2/Day, and elongation 31, 86 – 56.43%.

    AbstractThe study was conducted to the effect of soil amendment on the growth and production of three Inpari 23 rice plants on three types of soil. The research design used was a split-plot experiment, with 3 replications. The main plot of soil from the location consisted of andosol soil type from Karanganyar (L1), Mediterranean soil type from Magelang (L2), and alluvial soil type from Demak (L3). Sub-plots are without soil amendment (R1) and with soil amendment (R2). Parameters observed were plant height, number of tillers, the weight of plant crown, and harvest index. The data obtained were statistically analyzed by analysis of variance prosedure, and the LSD test at the 5% level for to comparation the difference mean between treatments. The results showed that the interaction effect between the treatment of soil improvement and the type of soil from three locations was significant (P<0,05) based on the parameters of the number of tillers and the weight of the plant crown. The conclution of the study that the growth and production of the Inpari 23 variety were highest with soil improvement (R2 on the alluvial soil type from Demak (L3), followed by the Mediterranean soil type from Magelang.     EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM KAWASAN RUMAH PANGAN LESTARI (KRPL) DALAM MENDUKUNG KETAHANAN PANGAN RUMAH TANGGA SELAMA PANDEMI DI KOTA KEDIRI

    The KRPL (Sustainable Reserve Food Garden) program is an alternative in realizing food self-sufficiency to achieve food security during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is to determine the impact of the KRPL program on household food expenditure patterns, food consumption patterns, and consumption levels by using a questionnaire interview method in 8 active KRPL groups in the city of Kediri with a total of 80 respondents. The result of this study indicates that as much as 70% of the harvest in process for the food and nutritional needs of the family, 38.75% think that the yields from their yards can meet their food needs. The yields of each KRPL are different due to several factors, namely, the area of land, the awareness of group members, the weather, and the desire of the members to plant types of plants. From the amount of harvest, it can be seen that the level of success of the KRPL program has a positive impact on household food consumption patterns. A yard or harvest yields are still dominant for household consumption. This condition supports the main concept of the KRPL program, namely to strengthen household food security

    This study aims to determine the effect of submersion seeds in hot water and submersion time on the viability of fennel seeds and growth of fennel seeds (Foeniculum vulgare Mill). This research was conducted from October to December 2020, in Manggung Village RT 02 RW 04 Sukorejo Village, Musuk District, Boyolali Regency. Altitude ± 800 m asl. This study uses an environmental design in the basic pattern of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) arranged factually with 2 (two) factors repeated 3 (three) times. The first factor is submersion seeds in hot water, which consists of three levels (P1: 50ºC, P2: 60ºC, and P3: 70ºC). The second factor was the submersion time which consisted of 3 kinds of treatments (W1: 10 minutes, W2: 15 minutes, and W3: 20 minutes). The observation parameters consisted of the number of seeds germinating, germination capacity, plant height, number of leaves, root length, and weight of fresh seeds. The results showed that: Submersion treatment with hot water had a significant effect on the number of germinated seeds. And had a very significant effect on germination, plant height, number of leaves, root length, and weight of fresh seeds. The treatment of submersion time had a significant effect on the parameters of the number of seeds germinated and the germination capacity and had no significant effect on other parameters. The combination of P2W1 treatment (submersion with hot water temperature of 60°C and submersion time for 10 minutes) was able to break the dormancy of fennel seeds well until they reached 100% germination. The P x W treatment interaction showed no significant effect on other parameters

    AbstractThis study aimed to analyze the effect of food prices on the development of inflation in Indonesia. Indonesia's inflation showed a declining pattern in 2017 to 2021. An analysis of the effect of food prices on inflation is needed to evaluate changes in food prices that cause and contribute to inflation. Food prices fluctuate in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 to 2021 because regional restrictions and mobility can affect the distribution process and availability of food ingredients. Food consumption had a fairly large proportion of total household consumption in developing countries, so changes in food prices would have an impact on economic conditions through demand and supply mechanisms. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression. The data used in the multiple linear regression analysis was secondary data consisting of food prices, namely rice, chicken meat, beef, chicken eggs, shallots, garlic, red chilies, cayenne pepper, cooking oil, granulated sugar and inflation for the July period. 2017 to July 2021. The results of the analysis explained that food ingredients shallots, rice, beef, and cooking oil had a significant effect with a negative coefficient direction on inflation, namely deflation tends to occur in food price movements. Garlic, chicken meat, and sugar had a positive effect on increasing inflation.Keywords: Price, Inflation, Commodit
