    ANALYSIS OF EXPLAINING STUDENT SKILLS THROUGH ONLINE PEER ASSESSMENT

    This study aims to determine the explaining skill of PGMI students through online peer assesment. Research methods used qualitative research with a descriptive approach.Result of this research of students explaining skill through online peer assesment: (1) using language that easily understand was 97%; (2) mastering material was 90,9%; (3) using examples related to the material was 93,9%; (4) using vocal variations was 75,8%; (5) voice emphasis to certain terms was 69,7%; (6) repeated subject matter was 52,5%; (7) build interaction with students was 97%; (8) Allow student to ask was 51,5% and (9) concluding material was 66,7%. The explaining skill of students through online peer assesment was in “skilled” category. It means explaining skill students in science learning need to improve

    ANALYSIS OF TPACK COMPETENCY-BASED LEARNING MEDIA UTILYZED BY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BIOLOGY TEACHERS IN EAST PALU

    This research is a descriptive research using quantitative approach. This research was conducted at Senior High Schools in East Palu in August 2022. The sample of this study consisted of five biology teachers of State Senior High School in East Palu. The instrument used was an open-ended questionnaire that included five dimensions of TPACK. Each TPACK section contains three issues derived from three indicators. With the help of the open-ended questionnaire, the use of TPACK-based learning media by biology teachers can be measured externally and deeply. The results showed that the most used media by biology teachers is technology-based media particularly PowerPoint media. According to the teachers, PowerPoint media is easy to use and develop, and it can support students to interpret the material effectively and practically. Another media used by biology teachers is traditional media utilization where they use media as learning tools. Finally, the teachers employ pictures of laboratory materials as these are easier to find

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode jigsaw pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 26 orang dan XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik 29 orang yang ditentukan secara simple random sampling. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar pada materi pokok asam basa yang dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Uji statistik deskriptif motivasi belajar peserta didik diperoleh, nilai rata-rata kategori tinggi. Untuk uji deskriptif hasil belajar peserta didik diperoleh, nilai rata-rata kelas signifikan. Pengujian hipotesis dari motivasi dan hasil belajar dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik non parametrik (uji Mann-Whitney). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metodejigsaw pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar pada materi pokok asam basa. Untuk pengujian hipotesis hasil belajar Zhitung = 6,48 pada taraf signifikan, α = 0.05 diperoleh Ztabel= 1,64. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode jigsaw pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar pada materi pokok asam bas

    Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif pada pembelajaran IPS dapat berakibat siswa bosan dan mempunyai motivasi belajar rendah sehingga hasil belajar IPS siswa kurang baik. Salah satu metode yang inovatif yaitu metode take and give yang membuat siswa semangat dan tidak bosan sehingga motivasi dan hasil belajarnya dapat meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini 1) mengetahui pengaruh metode Take and Give terhadap motivasi belajar  siswa kelas VIII di MTsN 3 Blitar, 2) mengetahui pengaruh metode Take and Give terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTsN 3 Blitar.  Peneliti memilih pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian Eksperimen guna untuk menganalisis atas kemungkinan saling berhubungan antara sebab akibat pada dua kelompok yaitu kelas VIII C dengan total 32 siswa dan kelas VIII I total 29 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dari observasi, dokumentasi, angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian berdasar dari  output uji t-test yaitu motivasi dan hasil belajar memperoleh nilai   (6,064 > 2,000 dan 5,328 > 2,000 ) serta nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga disimpulkan penerapan metode take and give berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTsN 3 Blitar

    This study aims to: 1) describe the form of interaction of politeness speech acts in learning Indonesian using the discussion method in class XI IPA 2 at SMAN 1 Bantaeng and 2) describe the role of politeness speech acts in learning Indonesian using the discussion method in class XI IPA 2 in SMAN 1 Bantaeng. This research was conducted in class XI IPA 2 SMAN 1 Bantaeng with a total of 32 students consisting of 18 female students and 14 male students. Data collection techniques used interviews, recording and recording techniques which were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive research type. Using the discussion method in classroom learning with the results of the research showing that the student discussion method is more active and increases politeness in speaking. It can be seen that the results of the data on compliance with the maxims of tact show that there are 21 utterances that are in accordance with the principles of politeness maxims. Each utterance with its respective maxims has the role of speech act such as locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary. Researchers found that there were 34 speeches to be analyzed in accordance with the adherence to the principle of politeness

    I'M AWARE OF MY GOAL ORIENTATION, MY FEAR OF FAILURE WILL DECREASE!: THE EFFECT OF LEARNING AWARENESS RELATED TO GOAL ORIENTATION ON FEAR OF FAILURE

    The problem that still occurs today is the fear of failure among students. This research aims to examine the effect of learning awareness related to goal orientation on fear of failure. This research method uses quantitative research with structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis to test the effect of learning awareness related to goal orientation on fear of failure. The subjects of this research were 408 students in Indonesia. This research instrument uses a modified goal orientation scale to measure learning awareness related to goal orientation and a modified achievement anxiety scale to measure fear of failure related to achievement anxiety. This research instrument was declared valid and reliable. The results of this research show that awareness of goal orientation will reduce fear of failure. Awareness of goal orientation can reduce fear of failure because students who have an awareness of goals make goals the main focus in the learning process; monitoring and evaluating the process of academic and learning failure; and encourage to determine the path to achieving goals

    This research is a review to measure the level of feasibility to assess the implementation of the Certified Independent Study program for students of the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Makassar State University using four points of view, namely functions, programs, goals and ideal conditions. The subjects in this study were 29 students majoring in Informatics and Computer Engineering who had attended the Certified Independent Study program. The research method used was quantitative descriptive, and samples were taken using total sampling where the sample size is equivalent to the population because the population size is very less or below 100. Data collection was conducted through a survey in the form of Google form questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were used in the analysis of this research data which are presented in tabular form. Based on the measurement of the four main aspects, the level of effectiveness of Certified Independent Study programs run by students majoring in Information and Computer Engineering can be concluded to be in the medium category.     EXPLORATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF SOFT SKILLS ON CAREER EFFICACY OF SMK STUDENTS

    This study aims to measure the influence of vocational students' soft skills on their career efficacy. This study uses a correlational quantitative method using mediation analysis on the JASP statistical application. The sample in this study consisted of 200 students using purposive sampling technique as many as 200 generation Z students who are vocational students were selected as respondents through several characteristics: 1) representing certain scientific fields / school majors; 2) the specified schools are spread throughout the South Sulawesi region; 3) the school is standardized on the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards. The data collection technique used a questionnaire adapted using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test. The findings indicate that there is a significant influence between learners' soft skills on their career decisions. Learners who have or hone their soft skills will more easily direct themselves towards career decisions with confidence. Soft skills will also help vocational students to achieve more brilliantly in school to prepare for future careers. This study provides a conclusion that if the soft skills of vocational students are honed since the school period, it will affect career self-efficacy

    STUDENT WORKSHEETS (LKS) AS AN ALTERNATIVE ASSESSMENT FOR BLENDED LEARNING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

    School is one of the manifestations of formal education in which interactions occur between teachers and students in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to describe student-learning activities in using LKS as an alternative assessment in blended learning in elementary schools. This study used descriptive qualitative approach using mixed method technique, which combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. Data calculations were carried out quantitatively and described qualitatively. The data collection technique was observation of student activities. The data analysis technique uses an analysis of the results of the student activity observation sheet through a quantitative descriptive presentation. Based on the details of the percentage for each indicator, it can be seen that the students’ learning activities classically obtain a score percentage of 92.58% in the very high category. Thus, it can be concluded that students’ worksheets (LKS) as an alternative assessment can increase students’ learning activities through blended learning

    STRENGTHENING CIVIC EDUCATION ON THE NATIONALISM ATTITUDE OF INDONESIAN MIGRANT WORKERS' CHILDREN IN SELANGOR MALAYSIA

    The objective of this research is identify and understand the impact of strengthening civic education on the nationalism attitudes of children of Indonesian migrant workers in Selangor, Malaysia, and provide guidelines to strengthen their nationalism identity. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods and participatory and collaborative approaches. Data were collected through observation, interviews, data analysis and documentation of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Hulu Langat Guidance Center. The data analysis technique used is Qualitative data analysis technique including Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing or Verification. The results showed that the strengthening of comprehensive civic education had a significant effect on the knowledge and nationalism attitudes of children of migrant workers, including the Indonesian president, the basis of the state and the application of the Pancasila precepts in everyday life. So it is concluded that strengthening comprehensive civic education has a very important role in improving the nationalism attitudes of children of migrant worker
