Pemanfaatan Kulit Ari Kelapa sebagai Alternatif Bahan Pakan untuk Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus)
Feed is one of the most important things in aquaculture. More than 50% cost productiondecided by feed. The increase of artificial feed price affected by raw material price rising could troubled the farmers and cultivator. Coconut husk as waste in traditional markets. This research purpose to know the utilization of coconut husk as alternative feed material. This research used experiment method composed of one control and three treatmenteach of it with three repetitive. The treatment composition with 5%, 10%, and 15% coconut husk flour. The observed parameter in this research is survival rate, weight absolute, specific growth rate, conversion feed, and water quality. The obtained result is the feed with 15% coconut husk flour formulation had the best result compared from control with survival rate 100 ± 0%, weight absolute 11,75 ± 1,46 gram, specific growth rate 2,89 ± 0,41% and feed conversion ratio 1,62 ± 0,16 without the alteration of water quality. Coconut husk flour can be used as alternative feed material with 15% in formulation
Fitoplankton sebagai Bioindikator Saprobitas Perairan di Situ Bulakan Kota Tangerang
Industry, homes activites, and aquaculture around situ or lake could contaminate and affect the water quality. This study aimed to determine the diversity of phytoplankton and water pollution level in Situ Bulakan Kota Tangerang based on saprobite index. The research was conducted on December 2014 until March 2015 at Situ Bulakan Kota Tangerang. Observations were made based on 4 points sampling with three repetitions for one day that could represented existing condition. Sampling sites in this study were at inlet flow, middle, outlet, and alleged utilized areas such as floating fish net. The result showed 26 species of phytoplankton from four classes, namely 9 species of Cyanophyceae, 4 species of Bacillariophyceae, 11 species of Chlorophyceae, and 2 species of Euglenophyceae with moderate diversity index (H\u27 = 1.77─2.05). Monoraphidium sp. was a species dominated in Situ Bulakan Kota Tangerang which was found 215 individuals. So it can be said as saprobite bioindicator. Saprobite index in Situ Bulakan Kota Tangerang showed moderate to severe contaminated with α-mesosaprobic (0.14)

Ethanol extract of 70% and 100% can inhibit the growth of fungi at a concentration of 1%
Optimalisasi Penggunaan Pupuk Kompos dengan Penambahan Effective Microorganism 10 (Em10) pada Produktivitas Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.)
This research is aimed to determine the effect of growing media composition, the addition different concentration of EM10 fertilizer, and interaction between the composition of the growing media with different concentration of EM10 fertilizer on Zea mays growth and productivity. This research was conducted in Home Composting of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta from June until October 2013. This study used Random Grouped for Factorial Design 2 x 5 wth 3 repetitions. First factor was plant media dose (M), consist of two extents, M1 (compost:soil = 1:1) and M2 (compost:soil = 1:2). The second factor was fertilizer concentration (D), consist of five extents, DO (no fertilizer),D1 (Urea: 0,9 g, SP-36: 0,9 g, KCl: 0,45 g), D2 (10 ml EM10), D3 (15 ml EM10), and D4 (20 ml EM10). The obtained data was analyzed using Analysis of Varians(ANOVA) and Duncan test when there is a significant difference..The result showed plant media (M2) with ratio composition of compost and soil was 1:2 could increase the stem diameter at harvest time. 20 ml concentration of EM10 could increase the stem diameter’s growth (2.29 mm) at harvest time, similarly 15 ml EM10 could increase the cob’s productivity (1.66 cobs). The interaction of composition plant media and fertilizer concentration of EM10 did not influence corn’s growth and productivity
Aktivitas Ligninolitik Beberapa Jamur Aphyllophorales dan Kemampuannya Mendegradasi Lignin pada Lindi Hitam
Fourteen local isolate Aphyllophorales fungi were screened their ligninolytic activity. The isolate with highest ligninolytic activity was tested it capability to degrade kraft blackliquor lignin. The biodegradability of black liquor is low because the presence of lignin and lignin derivative in the wastewater. These fungal were screened for ligninolytic activity by decolorization on solid mediacontaining RBBR dye. The ability of the fungal strains to biodegrade kraft black liquor lignin was performed by submerged fermentation condition with agitation and incubation time as treatment. The solid culture result in 3 isolates had ligninolytic activity and Ganoderma sp.BTA1 gave the highest ligninolytic. Agitation and incubation time influenced ligninbiodegradation of blackliquor significantly. Optimum condition for lignin biodegradation was at 200 rpm during 25 days with lignin reduction was 45,786%
Komunitas Kelelawar (Ordo Chiroptera) di Beberapa Gua Karst Gunung Kendeng Kabupaten Pati Jawa Tengah
The existance of bats in cave type with diverge managerial system are influenced abundance and species bats. This research was conducted from January to June 2012 that counting abundance and to identify bats at Gunung Kendeng Karst Area Pati Central Java. The bats were collected by using mist net and stalk net at flying track surrounding cave’s mouth of Pancur Cave, Serut Cave, Bandung Cave, Pawon Cave, Larangan Cave and Gantung Cave. Bats abundance at Pancur Cave amount ± 484 bats, Serut Cave amount ± 1233 bats, Bandung Cave amount ± 715 bats, Pawon Cave amount ± 392 bats, Larangan Cave ± 23 bats and Gantung Cave ± 5 bats. The six species were collected from this research, such as Cyanopterus horsfieldii, Hipposederos larvatus, Hipposideros bicolor, Rhinolophus affinis, Murina suilla dan Miniopterus australis. The analyst result is used Diversity Index of Shannon-Wiennner showed the highest diversity at Pancur Cave (H=0,35054) and the lowest at Gantung Cave (H=0,13633). Similarity index of shannon Evenness is showed the highest similarity at Pancur Cave (E=0,50572) and the lowest at Larangan Cave (E=0). Domination index of simpson is showed the highest domination at Pancur Cave (C=0,06805) and the lowest at Gantung Cave (C=0,00189). Hipposederos larvatus and Miniopterus australis are species that common and often founded during this research
Uji Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Air Bunga Kecombrang terhadap Bakteri E. coli dan S. aureus sebagai Bahan Pangan Fungsional
The testing has been conducted research on the antibacterial activity of aqueous extracts of flowers kecombrang against E. coli and S. Aureus. This study was aims to provided scientific evidence of excellence kecombrang plants as functional food ingredients. Antibacterial activity assays performed using dispersive method. From the results of antibacterial testing kecombrang flower water extract against E. coli concentration of 20% = 0 mm, 40% = 0 mm, 60% = 4.8 mm, 80% = 5.2 mm, 100% = 7.3 mm and the test bacteria S. aureus concentration of 20% = 8.67 mm, 40% = 9.11 mm, 60% = 12:33 mm, 80% = 12:44 mm, 100% = 13.89 mm
Kelimpahan Makrozoobentos di Perairan Situ Pamulang
The research on the abundance of macrozoobenthos in Situ Pamulang waters conducted in August 2014. This study aims to determined the types of macrozoobenthos and abundance in the region. This study used survey method with sampling at three (3) points by using purposive random sampling in Situ Pamulang waters. The results were obtained nine types of macrozoobenthos that overall there in 4 orders are 5 types of orders Sorbeoconcha, 2 types of orders Viviparoidea and each one kind of order Architaenioglossa and Hygrophyila. The abundance of macrozoobenthos between 25-2225 individuals/m2. Macrozoobenthos including low diversity index was 1.48. Macrozoobenthos dominance index of 0.25 so that it can be said there was no type that dominates in the region

Grammatophyllum scriptum var. citrinum is one variant of endangered from habitat destruction due to logging and forest fires and hunts by orchid collectors. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of BAP and NAA concentration in the root orchid propagation G. scriptum var. citrinum. The results showed that the application of BAP and NAA significant effect on the time of formation appeared roots (19 days), the best root number in the treatment of BAP 0.5 mg/l + 1.0 mg/l NAA for (5 pieces) and root length was obtained NAA 1 mg/l and a combination of 1.0 mg/l BAP + 0.5 mg/l NAA respectively 6.66 cm and 7.40 cm
Kadar Unsur Timbal pada Tanaman Kangkung di Tiga Pasar Tradisional Kecamatan Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan
Water spinach (Ipomoea sp.) is a plant that is commonly consumed by the public. Shifting cultivation, distribution and sales that are not protected make vegetables easily contaminated by pollutants in the environment, one of the lead element. This study was conducted to determine the element content of Pb in water spinach sold in three traditional markets Cilandak subdistrict, South Jakarta. This study was conducted from February-March 2014 by using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer instrument (AAS) method flame. Analysis of the data using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) with a confidence level of 95 %. If there are any differences, then followed by Duncan\u27s Multiple Range Test. The Maximum Tolerable Intake (MTI) test to determine the maximal consumption of watercress with a particular assay with an approximate weight of 60 kg. Based on this research, the element content of lead in water spinach in three traditional markets District of Cilandak ranged from 1.22 to 22.06 mg/kg. No significant effect on the three traditional markets District of Cilandak location. Organ roots have high levels of lead element compared to levels in the leaves and stems. The entire test sample had levels of lead element above SNI 7387:2009 maximum threshold of 0.5 mg/kg so They are not safe for consumption. Average maximum weight of kale on the three traditional markets in Sub Cilandak that may be consumed per week in the organs of leaves and stems ranged from 0.1492 to 0.6032 kg
