    Prophetic Leadership dan Implementasinya dalam Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

    Manusia secara kodrati telah mendapatkan legitimasi untuk menjalankan perannya sebagai pemimpin (khalifah) di muka bumi, tanpa mengabaikan tugas penghambaannya kepada Allah sebagai tujuan yang esensial. Esensi kepemimpinan telah dipraktikkan oleh para nabi terutama nabi Muhammad Saw yang dilandasi dengan sifat-sifat kenabiannya, yaitu; shiddiq, amanah, tablig, fathanah. Secara konseptual dikenal dengan kepemimpinan profetik. Nilai-nilai kepemimpinan profetik telah diterapkan secara paripurna oleh Rasulullah Saw sejak membangun peradaban penduduk Mekkah pada saat itu. Ada tiga hal pokok yang menjadi legacy kepemipinan profetik Rasulullah saat membangun kota Mekah yaitu : tauhidul illah, tauhidul ummah dan  tauhidul hukumah.  Oleh karena itu, sebagai institusi pendidikan yang mengemban misi profetik humanisasi, liberasi dan transendensi, lembaga  Pendidikan Islam sepatutnya mampu mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan profetik dan menjadikannya sebagai prinsip utama dalam menjalankan proses pendidikan

    Penerapan Problem-Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas

    Traditional instruction limited students' autonomy to construct their own knowledge. This condition enforce students' dependency to the teacher. Consequently, it affects their learning outcomes. an effort to improve the learning outcomes by applying problem-based learning model is supported by several researches. This study deployed action research design carried in two circle. The result stated that there are improvements in three aspect i.e attitude, knowledge and skill. Average score of attitude aspect increase from 77,48 to 77,86; knowledge aspect from 77,26 to 77,98; skill aspect from 76,52 to 77,80. Number of students achieving classical mastery learning criteria increase 20% from first circle i.e 64% of 25 students. Therefore, the criteria is achieved. The result also points that learning task carried by small group make knowledge transfer as learning community possible

    This research aims to determine the implications of the natural disposition concept in Islam for achieving the objectives of National Education. The conclusion of this research shows that teachers will help Indonesian people easily in achieving the goals of National Education when they have understood the natural disposition concept. The education process begins with understanding the natural disposition concept of humans who has a basis, nature, character, and the potential way of working. Three approaches are needed in the educational process. They are the philosophical tauhid approach, chronological approach, and functional approach. This research used a descriptive-analytic appoach with a literature study to examine the natural disposition concept in Islam and its Implications in achieving the objectives of National Education

    The process of education always goes through dynamic stages. It always adapts to the atmosphere of the students' conditions and current development. Therefore the reconstruction of Islamic education’s purpose is very important. Especially during the era of al-Kilani and Ahmad Dahlan, both of them met their respective concerns so that they thought to modify and to change Islamic education’s purpose. This article aims to find the standpoint of their version of Islamic education’s purpose. It was library research that referred to the sources of related literature and was processed using comparative descriptive analysis. The finding showed that there were similarities between them, such as first, the similarity in the setting of purpose formulation. Second, there were also similarities in the basic foundation for their educational purpose which are Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith. However, there were a few differences from their standpoint such as in aspects of educational background and intellectual heritage

    This article describes the role of an Islamic boarding school in character education in the era of globalization. This article used a literature research approach. In this research, Islamic boarding school had been able to have a role in the students’ character building supported by the main figure who is a Kiai. It can not be separated from the role of a teacher/Kiai in producing students who have noble character. The role of Islamic boarding school in character education is Islamic boarding school as guardian and preserver of religious values; Islamic boarding school as the innovator of religious understanding; and as inspirer, motivator, and dynamist of development implementation at the local and regional levels

    E-learning has an important role in Islamic Education learning. Students are expected to not only listening to the explanation of the material from the teacher but also playing an active role in learning by applying e-learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning based e-learning in Islamic Education course. The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive. The subject of this study was SMK 8 Surabaya students for the Islamic Education course. The data collection method had been done by interview and documentation. Data analysis had been done by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results of this study were the researcher found three stages in learning-based e-learning in the Islamic Education course, which is planning stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage

    Humans are the perfect creation of Allah SWT. It lies within their mind. Moreover, they also have the brain as a control center for all human activities. This article aims to explain the concepts of al-quran and neuroscience as well as the study of the brain and mind in al-quran and neuroscience. The approach used was qualitative of Creswell model library research. Data sources were obtained from the literature in the fields of the brain and mind, al-quran and neuroscience. Data collection techniques had used Sugiyono model. The data analysis technique had used Moleong analysis model. The results of this study indicated that if humans use their brains and mind to think properly and correctly, they would be able to provide and to create new ideas in solving various problems. After humans are even more aware, they would increase the faith and devotion to Allah

    Urgensitas pembelajaran menjadi suatu hal yang sangat vital dalam proses pendidikan. Manusia dapat memperoleh wawasan dan pengetahuan baru dalam hidupnya melalui kegiatan belajar. Dengan belajar pula, tingkah laku manusia berkembang ke arah yang lebih babik. Dalam perjalanan waktu yang relatif lama kegiatan belajar sempat berada pada posisi yang konservatif. Di mana peserta didik diposisikan sebagai objek pembelajaran sedangkan guru berposisi sebagai subjek yang maha tahu dalam kelas. Hal ini berimplikasi pada perkembangan pengetahuan yang semakin tidak dinamis. Karena kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan terpaku pada konsep pembelajaran searah. Sehingga lahirlah paradigma baru pembelajaran yang lebih menekankan pada kesadaran kritis peserta didik untuk memahami realitas dunia dan alam sekitarnya. Adapun kegiatan pembelajaran yang diimplementasikan adalah pembelajaran multi komunikasi dan cenderung dialogis. Pembelajaran ini berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik. Berbagai macam paradigma pembelajaran yang telah dikemukakan, perlu adanya penyegaran yang lebih masif sehingga dapat dinikmati dan dirasakan pengaruhnya oleh seluruh masyarakat dalam dunia pendidikan

    Ketercapaian kompetensi, terutama yang berkaitan dengan penerapan konsep masih menjadi masalah. Penelitian ini menjawab masalah tersebut dengan menerapan model Pembelajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction). Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan model Elliot. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan menekankan pada aspek berbeda.Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pengamatan dan tahap refleksi, kemudian setelah dilaksanakan penelitian tindakan dengan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Langsung hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebagaimana berikut: Siklus I aspek kognitif, nilai rata-rata pra siklus 62,96 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 52% sedangkan setelah dilakukan tindakan nilai rata-rata 77,36 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 84%. Siklus II aspek psikomotorik, nilai rata-rata pra siklus 69,68 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 52%, setelah dilakukan tindakan nilai rata-rata 80,72 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 80%. Sedangkan siklus III aspek afektif dengan nilai rata-rata 75,8 dan ketuntasan klasikal 84% dengan kategori hasil belajar sangat baik
