Evaluation of young childrenʼs running movements from the perspective of growth and development and health sociology
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the society and environment surrounding children on the healthy growth and development of their motor abilities from a health sociological perspective. The running movements of nursery school children affected by COVID-19 were observed in 2022 and 2023. Comparing data from May and November 2022, all the childrenʼs 25 m running times improved. However, in 2023, childrenʼs running movements barely developed. An analysis of the running records of nine children who attended nursery school at the ages of four (2022) and five (2023) revealed that in 2022, each childʼs record was significantly shorter in November than in May, meaning that their running ability had improved in six months. However, six months later, in May 2023, each childʼs running ability had declined. Childrenʼs running ability improved in 2022( when they were four years old), but declined between the ages of four and five years and remained at this reduced level throughout the year they were five years old. To understand the reason for this strange phenomenon, we interviewed the nursery school head teacher and learned that during the COVID-19 pandemic and until 2022, maintaining and improving childrenʼs health was the most important issue in childcare. However, in 2023, the focus of childcare shifted to improving academic ability, and the time spent on physical play was replaced with “study.” The stagnation in the development of running skills during early childhood, when children would normally develop such skills, was due to a health sociology problem in which “study over exercise” is prioritized even in early childhood education and care settings.departmental bulletin pape

ISO/IEC/IEEE 15026 is a four-part series of standards on systems and software assurance. Part 1 provides terms and definitions in the whole series, as well as introduction to the leading concepts on assurance. Part 4 is provides guidance to achieve assurance. The assurance is given as assurance information whose contents are evolved in Part 3 (integrity level as degree of confidence of achievement of the claim) and Part 2 (assurance case). Search for Molecular Clouds in the PeVatron Candidate Source LHAASO J0341+5258 by the Nobeyama 45-m Radio Telescope
Recent detections of ultra-high-energy (UHE; E >100 TeV) gamma rays have stimulated research on cosmic-ray accelerators of PeV particles (PeVatrons) in our Galaxy. However, roughly half of the UHE sources remain unidentified due to a lack of observations at different wavelengths. LHAASO J0341+5258 is one of the unidentified UHE sources and extended up to~0.3-0.5 degrees in radius. Using the Nobeyama Radio Observatory 45-m telescope, we have performed observations of molecular lines in the surrounding area of 1×1.5 degree2 during February and March 2024, with a total observation time of 36 hours. Several molecular clouds were detected within the gamma-ray extent observed by LHAASO. We found that these clouds are relatively nearby (<1-4 kpc), compact (<2 pc), and low-mass (5-300 M⊙). The number density is estimated to be 102-103 cm-3. Based on the derived distance and number density, we discuss the hadronic model interpretation. Although further investigations are necessary to determine the origin of the gamma-ray emission of LHAASO J0341+5258, these radio observations provide useful physical parameters.原著 2024年度神奈川大学総合理学研究所共同研究助成論文departmental bulletin pape
