PENERAPAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN VIDEO PADA POKOK BAHASAN FUNGI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF SISWA SISWA SMA NEGERI 2 KARANGANYAR
ABSTRACT – This research aims to find out the effectof the implementation of learning media video on the discussion subject fungi towards cognitive performance of the Xth grade students SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This study is a quasi-experimental studies which use Posstest Only Control Group Design. The independent variable in this research is the application of learning media videowhereas the dependent variable is students cognitive performance. The population of the study is the entire class X at SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyaracademic year 2011/2012.The samplesare taken towards control and treatment group. The sample is taken by using Cluster Random Sampling method. The data collecting technique of implementation of the research result towards the learning process of biology used documentation and test. The test of the hypothesis for the implementation of the research result towards the learning process of biology used T test. The result shows that the implementation of learning media videoare not influential towards cognitive performance of the Xth grade students SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar Keywords: Learning Media, Video, Cognitive Perfomanc
PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE TEAM QUIZ TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI DITINJAU DARI KEAKTIFAN BERTANYA PADA SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 KARANGPANDAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT – The purposes of this research were to know: 1) the influence of team quiz active learning strategy to the result of study biology; 2) the influence of student’s learning asks activity to the result of study biology; 3) the interaction between learning strategy and aska activity to the result of study biology. This research was quasi experiment research using Randomized Control Only design. Learning strategy and asks activity were independent variables and student’s achievement of study biology was the dependent variable. The population of this research was all of XI grade of natural science students of SMA Negeri 1Karangpandan. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 4 as the control group and students of class XI IPA 3 as the experimental group. The sample of this research was established by cluster random sampling. The data about the result of study biology collected by use test and observation. Asks activity meansured by using questionnaires. The analisis of this research was anava two away in different cell and the advance test used Bunfferoni test. The conclusion of this research were: 1) Team Quiz active learning strategy had significant influence to the result of study biology in pshycomotor domain but didn’t have significant influence in cognitive domain and affective on XI grade of SMA Negeri 1 Karangpandan; 2) Asks activity had significant influence to the result of study biology on XI grade of SMA Negeri 1 Karangpandan; 3) There wasn’t interaction between learning strategy and asks activity to the result of study biology on XI grade of SMA Negeri 1 Karangpandan. PENGARUH METODE INQUIRI TERPIMPIN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS DITINJAU DARI MINAT BELAJAR SISWA SMA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT – The purposes of this research were to know: 1) the influence of guided inquiry method to the science process skills; 2) the influence of student’s learning interest to science process skills; 3) the interaction between learning method and learning interest to the science process skills. This research was quasi experiment research using Randomized Control Only design. Learning method and learning interest were independent variables and to science process skills was the dependent variable. The population of this research was all of XI grade of natural science students of SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA 2 as the experimental group and students of class XI IPA 6 as the control group. The sample of this research was established by cluster random sampling. The data about science process skills collected by use observation. Learning interest measured by observation. The analysis was anava two away in different cell and the advance test used Bonfferoni test. The conclusion of this research were: 1) Guided Inquiry method had significant influence to science process skills on XI grade of SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali; 2) Learning interest had significant influence to science process skills on XI grade of SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali; 3) There wasn’t interaction between learning method and learning interest to science process skills on XI grade of SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali. PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VIII D SMP NEGERI 14 SURAKARTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT - This research aims to improve student motivation in biology learning with implementation of Picture and Picture in grade students in SMP N 14 Surakarta of 2011/2012 academic year. This study is a Classroom Action Research with the research design consisting of two cycles and each cycle consisting of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were grade students of SMP N 14 Surakarta of 2011/2012 academic year, that are 40 students. The data collection was conducted using questionnaire, observation and interview methods. The data analysis technique employed in this research was qualitative analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion or verification. The result of research showed that The means gain percent of each indicator of the students’ motivation questionnaire for pre cycle was 72, 09%,, cycle I was 74,09 %and cycle II was 79,96%. The means gain percent of each indicator of the students’ motivation observation for pre cycle was 50,9%, cycle I was 74,06 % and cycle II was 86,87%. According to the result above it means that applying of Picture And Picture learning method can improve students motivation was 35,97% from result of observation and 10,5 % from result of questionare on class VIII D SMP N 14 Surakarta of 2011/2012 academic year Keyword: Picture and Picture , students’ motivatio

ABSTRACT – Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan sumber belajar berupa modul hasil penelitian kandungan timbal dalam daun angsana pada sub pokok bahasan Metodologi ilmiah terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi experiment) menggunakan Randomized Control Only Design. Variabel bebas berupa modul hasil penelitiandan variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar biologi siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X semester ganjil SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Sampel pada penelitian adalah siswa kelas X.4 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan siswa kelas X.1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunkan teknik tes untuk hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan lembar observasi untuk hasil belajar ranah afektif serta psikomotor. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji t. ABSTRACT – This research aims to find out the effectof the implementation of learning strategy Think Talk Write with module research resultstowards students’ learning achievement of the class X at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. This study is aquasi-experimental studies which use Posstest Only Control Group Design. The independent variable in this research is the application of learning srategy, the Think Talk Write with module research results where as the dependent variable is students’ achievement in learning biology at 3 levels’. Namely, cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The population of the study is the entire of class X at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo in academic year 2011/2012.The samplesis taken upon control group and treatment group. The sample is taken by using Cluster Random Sampling method. The data are collected byusingtest (for cognitive achievement) where as for the affective and psychomotor aspects the data are taken by using observation methods. The obtained data that is analyzed by using t-test. The result shows the implementation of learning strategy Think Talk Write with module research resultshas taken good effect towards students’ achievement in affective and psychomotor aspects, but has not on the cognitive achievement students in class X of SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF (ACTIVE LEARNING) DENGAN METODE MIND MAP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS XI A3 SMA NEGERI 1 NGEMPLAK BOYOLALI
ABSTRACT – This research aims at improving the creativity of learning biological science through active learning by using mind-map method towards eleventh grade students of science 3 program (XI A3) at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak, Boyolali. This research is a Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the eleventh grade students of science 3 program (XI A3) at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak, Boyolali in 2010/2011 academic year. The data of this research were collected through observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The technique of data analysis uses descriptive analysis technique and the data validity was obtained by using the technique of triangulation method. The result of this research shows that the Classroom Action Research which was done through active learning by using mind-map method can give improvement towards the creativity of learning biological science towards the eleventh grade students of science 3 program (XI A3) at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak, Boyolali. It can be seen from the result of observations, questionnaires distribution, and interviews. The overall mean of percentage achievement score for each indicator based on the observation of students’ creativity in the first cycle is about 76% and about 84.67% in the second cycle (with 8.67% increase). Meanwhile, the overall mean of percentage achievement score for each indicator based on questionnaires of students’ creativity in the first cycle is about 77.43% and about 78.87% in the second cycle (with 1.44% increase). Based on the result, it can be concluded that the implementation of active learning by using mind-map method can improve the creativity of learning biological science towards the eleventh grade students of science 3 program (XI A3) at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak, Boyolali. IMPLEMENTASI HASIL PENELITIAN IDENTIFIKASI FUNGI DALAM TAPE TALAS (Colocasia esculenta) SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BERUPA MODUL PADA POKOK BAHASAN FUNGI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENGINTERPRETASI DATA SISWA KELAS X SMA AL ISLAM 1 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT - This is an experimental research of which result is implemented in the learning process of Biology subject in the Xth grade of senior high school. The objectives of this research are: (1) to find out kinds of fungal in taro tape (Colocasia esculenta) according to their morphological characteristics, (2) to find out the effect of the utilization of the research result of identification as a modul-based learning source towards the interpreting data skill of the Xth grade of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta Academic Year 2011/2012. The implementation of the research result towards biology learning process in the Xth grade of senior high school was a quasi-experimental research. The independent variable in this research is the modul-based learning source whereas the dependent variable is the interpreting data skill. The population of the fungal identification in taro tape (colocasia esculenta) was all the fungal in taro tape. The population of the implementation of the research result towards the learning process of fungal chapter was all of the students of the Xth grade of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta Academic Year 2011/2012. The sample of the implementation of the research result towards the learning process of fungal chapter of Biology subject consisted of two classes, i.e. control and experiment class. The sampling method used cluster random sampling. The data collecting technique of fungal identification research was experimentation and documentation whereas the implementation of the research result towards the interpreting data skill used observation methods. The test of the hypothesis for the implementation of the research result towards the learning process of biology used t-test. From the research, it can be concluded that (1) there are two kind genus of fungal in taro tape, i.e. genus Saccharomyces dan genus Aspergillus which identified according to their morphological characteristics, (2) the utilization of the research result of fungal identification in taro tape (colocasia esculenta) a modul-based learning source has a tangible impact towards the interpreting data skill of the xth grade of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta Academic Year 2011/2012. ABSTRACT - This research aims to find out the effect of the implementation Active Knowledge Sharing learning strategy with module of the research on review of sub scientific methodology learning achievement of the class X at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. This study is a quasi-experimental studies which use Posstest Only Control Group Design. The independent variable in this research is the application of cooperative learning, the Active Knowledge Sharing where as the dependent variable is students’ achievement in learning biology at 3 levels’. Namely, cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The population of the study is the entire of class X at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo in academic year 2011/2012. The samples is taken upon control group and treatment group. The sample is taken by using Cluster Random Sampling method. The data are collected by using test (for cognitive achievement) where as for the affective and psychomotor aspects the data are taken by using observation methods. The obtained data that is analyzed by using t-test.The result shows the implementation of Active Knowledge Sharinglearning strategy with module of the research on review of sub scientific methodology has taken good effect towards students’ achievement in affective and psychomotor aspects, but has not on the cognitive achievement students in class X of Surakarta SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. VIDEO UJI KADAR TIMBAL PADA DAUN MAHONI SEBAGAI MEDIA BELAJAR PADA POKOK BAHASAN PENCEMARAN UDARA DI SMA NEGERI 2 KARANGANYAR
ABSTRACT – This research aims was to find out the use of video as media learning toward the students achievement of the class X at SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This study was a quasi-experimental studies which use Randomized Control-Group Only Design. The independent variable in this research is video as media learning and the dependent variable was biology students’ achievement. The population of the study was the entire students of X second semester classes SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar 2010/2011 school year. The sample of the study was the students of X.6 class as the control group and the students of X.5 class as the experiment group. The sample was taken by using Cluster Random Sampling method. The data are collected by using test for cognitive achievement and the observation methods was used to find out the learning effectivity and psychomotor domain. The technique of data analysis by using t-test. The result shows the use of video as media learning was significantly influences the students’ achievement in cognitive and psychomotor aspect, but did not give effects improve the affective achievement of class X at SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar Keywords: Media, Video Learning, Learning Achievement, The Air Pollution
