PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TWO STAY TWO STRAY DISERTAI MEDIA AUDIO-VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS XI IPA 5 SMA NEGERI 7 SURAKARTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT – The aim of this research is improve biology learning quality for teacher performance, learning facilities, classroom climate, student’s science attitude in class, and student motivation of learning in student class XI Sains 5 SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. The research is classroom action research. The steps of research include planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The collecting data of research uses questionnaire, observation, and interview. The research uses triangulation as validation data. The research uses descriptive as analytic data. The acts of research contain three cycles. The result in cycles I, II and III describes that mean of observation data in the classroom for aspect teacher performance, classroom climate, student’s science attitude and students motivation in learning have been increase for every cycles and achieve of target ≥ 75% in cycles III, the utility of learning facilities in the classroom as well have been optimal. In addition, this research also uses interview and the result of interview shows that student motivation can improve after acts of research end, attitude of students can improve after act of research end, and conditioning of class can more interesting after acts of research end. The conclusion of research describes that the implementation of learning model cooperative type two stay two stray with media audio-visual can improve biology learning quality for teacher performance, learning facilities, classroom climate, student’s science attitude, and motivation of learning in student class XI Sains 5 SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ASSURANCE, RELEVANCE, INTEREST, ASSESMENT, AND SATISFACTION (ARIAS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMA AL ISLAM 1 SURAKARTA
ABSTRACT – The purposes of this research ware to ascertain the influence ARIAS lerning models toward biology learning achievement of XI IPA grade students at SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta in academic year 2011/2012. This research is considered as quasi experiment research using quantitative approach. The research was designed using posttest only control design that applied Quantum Learning approach in experimental group and conventional approach with discussion, classical course and question-answer method in control group. The population of this research was all of XI IPA degree students at SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta in academic year 2011/2012. The sample of this research was established by cluster random sampling that choosed XI IPA 3 as experiment group and XI IPA 2 as control group. The data was collected by using questionnaire, multiple choice test, observation form, and document. The hypotheses analyzed by t-test. The conclusion of this research showed that application of Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assesment, And Satisfaction (ARIAS) learning models had significant effect toward biology learning achievement in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domain of XI IPA grade students at SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta in academic year 2011/2012. PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED INQUIRY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR RASIONAL SISWA KELAS VIII-F SMP NEGERI 5 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT – Purpose of the researched is to improve the ability to rational thinkingh of through application of Guided Inquiry Strategies on all cognitive dimensions of VII F I Class Students SMP 5 Surakarta years 2011/2012. The research is an action research study Classroom what is done in several cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects are VIII-F Class Students SMP 5 Surakarta years 2011/2012. The data obtained by observation of written test. Techniques of data analysis using descriptive analysis technique. Validating data using triangulation research method. The research was motivated by the observation of the observations made on the VII-F class student of SMP 5 Surakarta. The results showed that the average achievement scores of rational thinking ability to process information on aspects on the 1st cycle by 56.15%, 69.73% in 2nd, and 70.68% in 3rd. Aspects of solving problems on 1st cycle by 38.22%, 67.83% in the second, 67.71%in 3rd . Aspects of a decision on the 1st cycle by 56.87%, 63.51% the second and 71% on 3rd.. The increase that occurs in every cycle showed that Guided Inquiry Learning model can improve the ability of rational thinking. KEKUATAN DAN ARAH KEMAMPUAN METAKOGNISI, KECERDASAN VERBAL, DAN KECERDASAN INTERPERSONAL HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMA NEGERI 3 SUKOHARJO
ABSTRACT – This research is aimed to know the strenght and direction between: 1) metakognitif achievement and cognitive learning achievement of biological lesson of XI IPA student’s grade of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2011/2012, 2) Verbal intellegences and cognitive learning achievement of biological lesson of XI IPA student’s grade of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2011/2012, 3) Interpersonal intelligences and cognitive learning achievement of biological lesson of XI IPA student’s grade of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2011/2012. It is a kuntitatif correlational research. The population was taken all of students XI IPA grade of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2011/2012. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique. Test technique was used to uncover student’s verbal intellegences, documentation technique was used to uncover student’s cognitive learning achievement, while metakognition achievement and interpersonal intellegences was measured by using questionnaire. The obtained data was analysed using multiple linier regression analysis with SPSS 16. The result showed that (1) there is corellation between metakognition achievement and cognitive learning achievement of biological lesson of XI IPA student’s grade of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2011/2012, with the regression coefficient is 0,238, the relative contribution is 42,4% and the effective contribution is 19,6%, 2) there is corellation between verbal intellegences and cognitive learning achievement of biological lesson of XI IPA student’s grade of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2011/2012, with the regression coefficient is 0,154, the relative contribution is 32% and the effective contribution is 14,8%, 3) there is corellation between interpersonal intellegences with cognitive learning achievement of biological lesson of XI IPA student’s grade of SMA Negeri 3 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2011/2012, with the regression coefficient is 0,175, the relative contribution is 25,6% and the effective contribution is 11,8%. The three aforementioned corellation are considered as significant and positive valuable. They have 46,2% contribution to learning achievement of biological lesson. Each of independent variable that is metakognitif achievement, verbal intellegences and interpersonal intellegences has contribution to dependent variable, that is learning achievement of biological lesson. Student achievement at biological lesson as much as 53,8% is affected by other factor. PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE SOCRATIC CIRCLES DISERTAI MEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA
ABSTRACT - This research aims to ascertain whether or not the application Socratic Circles method with images media affects the student’s creative thinking skill.This research is considered quasi-experiment research. The research was designed using Posttest-Only Control Group Design by applying Socratic Circles method with images media in experimental group and lectures methods, discussions, and presentations in control group. The population of this research were all strudents in X grade of SMA Negeri 2 Boyolali in academic year 2011/ 2012. The sample of this research was established by Cluster Random Sampling, in order to obtain class X-3 as experimental group and class X-2 as control group. The data was collected by using tests, documentation and observation form. The hypothesis was analized by using t-test. The conclusion of this research is that the application of Socratic Circles method with images media affects the student’s creative thinking skill. PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI MELALUI PENERAPAN STRATEGI SURVEY, QUESTION, READ, RECITE, AND REVIEW (SQ3R) PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPA 2 SMA NEGERI 1 BANYUDONO TAHUN AJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT – This research aimed for improving studentachievementin learning process on Biology by implementation of Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) strategy of grade XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono academic years 2011 / 2012. This research is aclassroom action research that was included 2 cycles of action. Each cycles consisting of 4 phase which areplanning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were students grade XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Banyudonoacademic years 2011 / 2012. Source of data derived from the questionnaire, observation, test and interview. Technical analysis of data was using descriptive analysis. Data validation was using methods triangulation. The results of this research showed that the implementation Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) strategy could improve student achievement in learning process on Biology of grade XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Banyudonoacademic years 2011 / 2012. The average percentage based on questionnaire student achievement of psychomotorindicators was 75,49% forCycle Iand 80,02% forCycle II(worked up 4,53%). The average percentage based on questionnaire student achievement of affective indicators was 69,48% forCycle Iand 78,09% forCycle II (worked up 8,61%). The average percentage based on observation student achievement of psychomotor indicators for Cycle I was 57,81% and 67,60% forCycle II (worked up 9,79%). The average percentage based on observation student achievement of affective indicators for Cycle I was 55,35% and 63,76% forCycle II (worked up 8,41%). The average percentage student achievement of cognitivebased on evaluation test for Cycle I was 74,84and 85,63for Cycle II (worked up 10,79).Based on the result could be conclude that implementation of Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) strategy had improvedstudent achievement in learning process on Biologyof grade XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI DITINJAU DARI TINGKAT KREATIVITAS SISWA KELAS X SMAN 2 KARANGANYAR
ABSTRACT - This research aimed to know, (1) The existence of significant influence’s Group Investigation model towards the results study of Biology class X SMAN 2 Karanganyar, (2) The existence of significant influence’s creativity level towards the results study of Biology students in class X SMAN 2 Karanganyar, (3) The interaction of significant influence’s between Group Investigation model and creativity level towards the results study of Biology students in class X SMAN 2 Karanganyar. This research is Quasi Experimental Research. Subject in this research are students class X SMAN 2 Karanganyar semester I academic year 2011/2012. Sample in this research are 2 class there are class X2 as control class and class X4 as experiment class. Technique of data collection test, questionnaire and observation sheet. Test is used to measure of cognitif domain and student creativity level, questionnaire is used to measure of afective domain, and observation sheet is used to measure of psikomotoric domain. Technique of data analysis use two ways Varians Analysis (ANAVA) and continuation test use double comparation Scheffe method. Based the result of this research can conclude are, (1) there is significant influence using learning model Group Investigation towards the results study of Biology, (2) there is significant influence creativity level students towards the results study of Biology, (3) there is no interaction of significant influence’s between Group Investigation model and creativity level towards the results study of Biology. The result of continuation test use Scheffe method can conclude are, (1) there is significant influence between column A1 (using Group Investigation model) and column A2 (using Conventional model) towards the results study of Biology, and (2) there is significant influence between row B1 (high level creativity) and row B2 (low level creativity) towards the results study of Biology. The case must be concern in implementation of learning model Group Investigation for research to be effective are students psychological factors like as readiness students capability to learning be autonomous and the students anxienty with sub topic for investigated. PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INDUCTIVE THINKING BERBASIS KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS X.7 SMA NEGERI 2 KARANGANYAR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2011/2012
ABSTRACT – The aim of this research is improve quality of biology learning for teacher’s performance, utility of facilities in the classroom, classroom climate, science attitude of student, and student motivation of achievement in student class X.7 in 2th senior high school of Karanganyar in academic year 2011/2012. This research belongs to classroom action research consist of three cycle and each have four phases, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The collecting data of research uses questionnaire, observation, and interview. Validation data uses triangulation of methods and triangulation of observers. The research uses analyzed descriptively. The result in cycles I describes that generally the research target is not achieve yet that showed teacher’s performance indicators are 86,67%, classroom climate indicators are 72,79%, science attitude of students in class are 69,12%, and motivation of achievement in students are 68,63%. The result in cycles II describes that the research target is not achieve yet optimally that showed teacher’s performance indicators are 96,67%, classroom climate indicators are 78,67%, science attitude of students in class are 75,98%, and motivation of achievement in students are 74,18%. The result in cycles III describes that the research target is completely achieve and showed that teacher’s performance indicators are 100%, , classroom climate indicators are 91,18%, science attitude of students in class are 84,31%, and motivation of achievement in students are 84,31% and utility of learning facilities in the classroom have been optimally. Cycles stopped in cycles III because the research target is achieved. The conclusion of this research describes that the implementation of inductive thinking learning model based science process skills can improve quality of biology learning for teacher’s performance, utility of facilities in the classroom, classroom climate, science attitude of student, and motivation of achievement in student of class X.7 in 2th senior high school of Karanganyar year 2011/2012. ABSTRACT – The purpose ofthis study was to improvestudent science process skills on Biology teaching by implementation of Active Learning with Silent Demonstrationand increaselearning outcome by improvingstudent science process skills. This research usedclassroom action research. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the planning, acting, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students of class VIII-DSMP Negeri 14 Surakarta academic year 2010/2011. Source of data derived from teacher and student information, places and events on going learning activities, and documentation. Techniques and tools of data collection are questionnaire, observation, and interviews. Technical analysis of data is using qualitative descriptive. Data validationis use methods triangulation Result of the research showed that with action performing brazes to pass through Implementation of Active Learning with Silent Demonstration can improve science process skillsin biology learning in class VIII-DSMP Negeri 14 Surakarta academic year 2010/2011. It wasgone upon on questionnaire result, observation and interview. The average percentage each indicator of student activities based on observation for pre cycle is 36,62%, a cycle of 68,94% and 78,28% for cycle 2. The conclusions that application of Active Learning with Silent Demonstrationcan improve student science process skillsand learning outcome by improvingstudent science process skills. This research is as classroom action research. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the planning, acting, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Tahun Pelajaran 2011/ 2012. Source of data derived from teacher and student information, places and events on going learning activities, and documentation. Techniques and tools of data collection are questionnaire, observation, and interviews. Technical analysis of data is using qualitative descriptive. Data validation is use methods triangulation Result of the research show that with action performing brazes to pass through learning strategy purpose Active Knowledge Sharing questioning participation in biology learning in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Tahun Pelajaran 2011/ 2012. It is gone upon on questionnaire result, observation and interview. The average percentage each indicator of student activities based on observation for pre cycle is 42,30%, a cycle of 62,69% and 79,92% for cycle 2.
